Introduction:
Welcome to the WRC 3 Trophy Guide!
WRC 3 is the official game of the FIA World Rally Championships and has now made its way to the PS Vita. It is described as the “most complete rally game created – ever!“
There are 2 distinct game modes in WRC 3 for the Vita:
WRC Experience puts you in the driving seat of a professional rally driver during the 2012 World Rally Championships season. Choose from over 50 drivers and race the official tracks, battling for pole position and the maximum number of points for each stage.
WRC Online is an exciting multiplayer game mode that allows players to race Single Stage, Single Super Special Stage, Single Rally or a whole Championship via the PSN.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Offline WRC Experience Mode (WRC)
Select WRC Experience Mode and play through with the WRC Cars. Choose “Dani Sordo” as your driver, as this will be needed once you reach the championship in Spain. Before you start you first race you will need to change one of your settings by pressing . You will only need to change one setting and save this to obtain another trophy, you do not have to even use it but may need it later for the online.
You’ll be earning these trophies: The Engineer
Until the last minute
Heavy footed
Yes, I can fly!
Two for One
It’s a question of style, honey

If you win the relevant stages by 5 seconds or more you’ll also earn: As an ice skater

Step 2: Offline WRC Experience Mode (Class 2 & 3)
Repeat Step One twice and select Class 2, then Class 3 as you’re chosen championship each time.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: First
Winner
Step 3: Individual Races
You will now need to complete individual races for individual trophies. Use S Loeb in the WRC Experience Mode, however, select individual races or stage to reflect the relevant trophy.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies: First of all
Normal Routine
When it rains, it pours
Dry climate
Step 4: Online
Compete against other users online to reach the required amount of valid racing time.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies Be prepared
All together!
A celebrity of the network
Tips and Strategies:
The whole game can be played on Easy Difficulty, so you should have no issues at all achieving all the requirements first time. For the class 2 & 3 championships (Step 2 of the Roadmap), these can be done with only two rallies with 3 stages in each (Credit oscalioo). You can change the length by pressing the L button to reduce the stages and then press the R stick to the left to reduce rallies (Credit joco); which reduces the time to platinum by a couple of hours.

Only one setting will need to be changed slightly for this trophy to be obtained. To do this wait for your online lobby to be ready and press to enter the settings screen. This needs to be done before confirming the race.

![]() ![]() Repair your car using at least 50 minutes of time available in a repair session |
Damage your car enough during the race so that at the and of it you use nearly all you 60 minutes to repair it. This should come naturally, just press during the repair part, then
and It will automatically repair for you.
![]() ![]() Win a Single Stage without damaging the car in the WRC Experience mode |
This could prove as possibly the hardest trophy in the game. The best way I found to achieve this was on the special stage in Spain – “Coll de la Teixeta”. Adjust your Gearbox settings to long & manual gears via on the pre-race screen. When playing this track be sure to avoid all the barriers and keep changing between 2nd & 3rd gears (depending on the corner). There is a lot of handbrake turns so the majority of the track can be completed in 2nd.
This track is only approx 120 seconds (2mins) long and will need to be completed without your gear box going into the red. This way you avoid getting Damaged Valves.
![]() ![]() Complete a Championship in first place using class 3 in the WRC Experience mode |
Self Explanatory – You do not have to win all the races. If you have enough points, you may be able to retire from the last two races after selecting Class 3.
Remember to lower the amount of races for the Championship as mentioned in the Tips sections.

![]() ![]() Do a jump that is at least 30 metres long |
Easiest obtained while racing in Germany. The tracks at “Moselwein” or “Gusenburg” allow you to gain this and Heavy footed during the same sector. Simply be flat out during sector 4 and you should obtain both trophies fairly easily.
