After a long week it’s finally weekend again, so that means that it’s time to sit back, relax and play some games! So what is the team playing this weekend?
EssTee – Guide Writer
Nothing too exciting or new from me this weekend, I still need to play more of the awesome Resident Evil Village cuz I’m still miles away from the platinum, and I still need to finish up a couple of the same guides like Cosmic Top Secret and Savage Halloween etc. IRL big girl life stuff has been keeping me a seriously busy bee recently which unfortunately has been putting me a bit behind on my gaming things! Ah well it’s worth it.
So a little more on RES8, I’m feeling a little daunted by what I hear about mercenaries mode, Oof it sounds hellish! ..Also I always get a little nervous about the classic RES ‘Knife Only’ run.. I’m sure it’ll be fine right? Totally fine right?! But I gotta say I did see a YouTube video the other day of a guy completing a knife-only run with a LIGHTSABER lol I was like whuuut that is both amazing and hilarious! Turns out it’s a legit unlockable weapon, strong too, and counts as melee so you will get the knife-only trophy! I will make this happen. I have found my destiny XD
Dino_Roar – Guide Writer
So many choices this weekend, as I’ve slowed right down on the quick “EZPZ” games of late. This doesn’t mean that I will be spending the whole weekend boosting that Platinum count.
I need to focus the majority of my time getting the Battlefield V Platinum ready for an upcoming milestone, so this will take a bit of time as I’m a bit out of practice on those old shooters. The Multiplayer is all done, and from what I’ve played so far of the Single player it does seem an enjoyable game. I’ll therefore be taking my time and enjoying the story that goes with it.
Other things on the possible agenda will be finalizing our Angels with Scaly Wings Trophy Guide and quickly knocking together a Dragon Break Classic Head to Head Trophy Guide for you all.
Update from May 21st 2021: Fall Guys is not quite done, but I’m nearly there. 2 more wins and some purchases from the store and I’ll have the Platinum. Wreckfest is also so close to being done, but I’ll save that Platinum for a Milestone.
Oniwalker – Reviewer
It’s the weekend! My weekend has started off with snow. SNOW! IN THE MIDDLE OF MAY! But it’s the perfect excuse to get the kiddo busy in an activity, then sneak away for some video game time! This weekend, I’m gonna be replaying Dragon Fantasy Book 2!
If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s an homage to SNES RPGs and I loved it the first time through, and I’m loving it again already. But when I’m not playing that, I’ll be playing a whole lot of Vermintide 2 with my friends, as we use a level exploit to grind EXP really quick to level up all of our characters to max, before we start playing the game!
Update from May 21st 2021: I did end up playing a bit of Kingdom Hearts 3. I also ended up playing a bit of Skylanders Trap Team too! Though the levels are so long, I can only do one or two a night before I pass out because it’s already so late.

My weekend is going to be a mash of a few games, probably some Call of Duty WWII, and on the Playstation 3, I really want to get the platinum for Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure!
I used to love Skylanders so going back to it and finally going for the platinum should be a lot of fun, and of course, in the meantime, I’m working on the Call of duty DLC, and a little bit of the campaign is left over.
