Well, another weekend another change to drown ourselves in a bunch of games we never have time to play otherwise. Please let us know what you will be playing this weekend here in the comments or on Twitter!

Well, my goals from last week were met so this week I can hopefully start (and maybe finish) Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The game was Free this month for PlayStation Plus but I did already own it, but my friends didn’t, the game having Multiplayer trophies and the season pass only 6$ was a perfect moment to finally get that to a 100% now that some of my friends also have time for it.
When I have some time in between i also wanna do some quick other 100% games that don’t have a platinum, looking at my game list i had a lot of those games that i can just push out pretty quickly.

I am back into the racing genre this week with a classic that is too good to pass on. Having completed it back int he PS3 days I was excited when the remaster was announced; so excited that I’m back for my second stack of the remaster.
This weekend will be filled with the thrills and spills that come with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.
EA did an amazing job with this Remaster and I cannot fault the effort that they put into it; I have enjoyed every minute of it and cannot wait to show another completed stack of this game on my profile.

This weekend I played a new indie riot called Rocket Punch, and if you like your indie games crazy, like I do! Then you might love the funny random madness of this one! XD
The best part is when you complete the game.. You are then greeted with some mad FMV cutscenes that you really won’t be expecting! They really tickled me lol, and then the game opens up to a whole new section where you can play another 11 game modes! so it really is worth it’s £3.99 PSN price! You will need a PlayStation camera though (I just used the one that came with my VR) as another cool aspect is to complete the game and punch your way to victory use’s the movements of the controllers light bar 🙂
Brag: And I was 1st platinum achiever oh yeaaa 😉
Hot tip: And my 35-minute platinum walkthrough video guide is currently uploading 😉
Secondly, I played The Pillar: Puzzle Escape, which really was quite a lovely new puzzle game by EAS with a nice quick n chill plat. You can find my video guide with commentary for it HERE.
Lastly, I’ve been still chipping away at Heart & Slash, 94% complete.. So close! The last 3 trophies are being tricky & a grind though, but that Ultra Rare platinum will. Be. Mine. Mwahahahahaaa!

Like I said in a previous article, this 2021 is my backlog cleaning year! This weekend it’s time to start and finish Child of Light once for all.
From what I recall, this game was amazing but it was riddled with frame drop issues and it was almost impossible to play. After a few web research, I’ve discovered that this problem can be fixed by playing the game offline so why not give it a shot again?
I hope to have a better experience than the previous one as the game seemed really enjoyable with a good story and a different combat system from the ones I’m used to.

This week I’ll be Re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-playing Borderlands 2 with a friend who’s never played through the borderlands games. We played Borderlands 1 just about a month ago and I’m excited to play my favorite of the Borderlands games with him.
I originally got Borderlands 1 used for the PS3 months before I even got a PS3, I got it for such a good price that I could not pass it up. it was a dollar per game and I got 10 of them, Borderlands 1 was just among the ones I chose. I feel in love almost instantly, and then a year later I got Borderlands 2 on my birthday and since then it’s been one of my favorite games. So I’m glad to replay it with someone who hopefully will enjoy it as much as I did, the first time I played it.

It’s the first weekend of lockdown! Wait….it’s not 2020….I’m not sure what’s going on here, but all I know is, it’s the weekend! For the first time in two or three weeks, I’m not playing Star Ocean this weekend! I’m still working on pushing through Resident Evil 4. Except right now I’m on Hard mode. It’s more tedious than hard though. Then tonight, I’m playing Black Ops 4 to start on some zombie Easter Eggs! Can’t forget to say there’s Metal Gear Survive of course. I’m so close to finishing that up. Only need to level up 8 more times and do a bunch more coop maps. What’re you playing?
