Videogame Locations We Would Love To Visit

Welcome back to another team talk, where we share some stories, good and bad, and share our deepest and darkest gaming secrets (sometimes at least). This week it’s the time that schools are coming to a close almost everywhere and people are going on holiday! I’ve not been anywhere in a very long time, this just makes me think of how many cool places I would wanna visit. So that’s why this week we are going to take a look at some Videogame Locations We Would Love To Visit!

One thing I always love is cool cities so I’m going back to my usual pick….. Persona 5! I love Asian culture and food, so going to Tokyo is for me just the dream place to visit at some point. Epic places to see and visit, food to taste, and of course anime slot machines!

After doing some “research” I found that there are a ton of cool places in Tokyo that are also in Persona 5 and just cool places that have Persona stuff, so why not get a feel and check out this video by hijessicaanne:

I would love to visit a lot of places as traveling around the world was one of my childhood dreams, but there are plenty of videogames locations that are amazing and would be fascinating if we could at least enjoy a part of them.

If this was possible, my first destination would be Rapture, the underwater city of Bioshock. Despite its decadence after a tremendous civil war and the discovery of ADAM, this place is full of amazing landscapes, art-deco skyscrapers, and shops where you can buy souvenirs.

The history of the city would also give a sublimity touch to the journey but the whole place oozes with facts and events that you won’t regret your experience at all.

You’ve heard of Constantinople, right?! Well to quote a well-known website – “At first it was called “New Rome” but then changed to Constantinople meaning “City of Constantine.” In 1453 the Ottomans (now known as Turks) captured the city and renamed it İslambol (“the city of Islam). The name İstanbul was in use from the 10th century onwards.”

Constantinople is the main basis of one of my favorite video games of all time Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Not only is it beautifully transformed onto the game, but it also holds a special place in my heart during more recent times.
Personally I would’ve loved to have visited a place like this back in the ages of when the game was set, and it is something that none of us will ever experience in reality.

An older game for sure, but one that is highly recommended for all to try for graphical and gameplay reasons.

We all have that video game setting where we go “man, I’d love to be able to visit this world.” Whether it’s Animal Crossing or Donkey Kong. Or you’re a major freak and choose something like the Ishimura from Dead Space… Though if I have to be truly honest, my one pick would have to be Hyrule from Zelda Ocarina Of Time!

Though to be fair, I will clarify, that I would wanna visit Hyrule BEFORE the collapse. To be able to see Hyrule Town, or the Zora in Zora’s Domain would be absolutely amazing. What I would do to visit the world in all of its glory before Ganondorf ruins the place. I would avoid the Gorons though….my luck I’d be squished!
