Tips and Strategies:

A couple things through the game to remember are the following.

  • Vesta will die in 1 hit, where as the Mech can get hit 3 times.
  • The second an enemy starts an attack animation, you’re dead.
  • The Mech can’t aim his gun if there’s something in the way, so you’ll get a jittery animation.
  • If the Mech is carrying Vesta and you press  to drop her, you will automatically switch to controlling Vesta.
  • You can drop off platforms that move up and down without dying.
  • After you collect any secret collectible, the game saves automatically, so you can then quit the level and still have the collectibles.
  • The Mech can walk through Lasers and the air from Wind Turbines without taking damage and block the flow of both hazards. Sometimes this is needed to progress as Vesta.
  • Sometimes you will need to backtrack to collect used energy to progress further in the level.
  • You can only have 3 things of energy at once. These are indicated by the green lights on the right side of Vesta’s picture. If you have 3 things of energy, and try to kill an enemy, it won’t die.

The boss fight with “The Adaptor” is pretty easy. Sometime it will not attack for long periods of time and just float around the arena. It can’t touch you in corners, so those are the best places to hide if it wont attack you. You will be on the inside of an arena and he will charge up and attack and fly in a straight line towards Vesta. He will eventually stop and start blinking, this is when you’ll have to be a little fast. Quickly press to switch to the Mech, and fire a shot at the boss, aiming with and firing with . He will then get a stun timer. Quickly press and switch to Vesta again and run over to the boss and press to steal a portion of his energy. After the third time of doing that, he will fall in defeat and the trophy for completing the chapter will unlock.
Refer to the video down below on how to defeat the boss.

Chapter 1 Boss Fight
Discovering
Complete the second chapter.

To get this trophy, you must complete the second chapter of the game. The chapter consists of 9 levels, 8 being normal levels, and the 9th level being a boss fight. For the boss fight you have to fight “The Adaptor” again, but this time its in a different arena. There are 4 corners that it will go to and it will plant his hands down and then start shooting bombs into the air. Simply avoid the bombs. It will then start to blink, so while using the Mech, hold to aim the gun and press to fire at the boss. When he gets the stun timer, quickly press to switch to Vesta, and go through the opening on the side of each corner, and press when you get close enough to take some of his health. It will then teleport to a corner of the arena and do an attack where it rushes straight toward you, simply dodge and then try to hit it again with the Mech while it’s blinking. If you miss your chance, it will go into the closest corner and repeat its bomb attack. After you hit it with Vesta three times, it will die and the chapter will be over.
Refer to the video down below on how to defeat the boss.

Chapter 2 Boss Fight

For this boss fight, you’ll be fighting “FINALBOSS”, which is just “The Adaptor” all over again. For this fight, you’re in an arena, with 4 acid pits in each of the corners that you can get behind on either side. There is also a blue energy bot that flies around the outer part of the arena, and it activates things of lasers, so you’ll want to avoid those. When it comes to the boss, it’s fairly easy. You will want to stay away from the corners of the map, behind the acid pits, as the boss will shoot a homing missile at you and it’s hard to avoid. Right away, what you’ll want to do is run to the Mech as soon as you get control of Vesta, and press  to get picked up. Start to do a loop or the arena and the boss will follow you. The boss will eventually do one of two attacks, which will be either planting its arms down and shooting bombs into the air, or doing a rush attack at you. After you avoid the attacks and it starts blinking, press to have Vesta jump of the Mech, then quickly press to control the Mech and hold to aim your gun at it and press to fire at it. When it gets stunned, quickly press again to switch to Vesta and run up to it and press to take a part of its health. Repeat these steps two more times, and the boss will fall and the trophy will unlock.
Refer to the video down below on how to defeat the boss.

Chapter 3 Boss Fight
Hope
Finish the game.

To get this trophy, you must complete the fourth and final chapter of the game. The chapter consists of 9 levels, 8 being normal levels, and the 9th level being a boss fight. For this boss fight, you’ll be fighting “FINALBOSS”, which is just “The Adaptor” all over again. For this fight, you’ll be in an arena with two breakaway floor tiles as Vesta, while the Mech is on the outside, similar to the boss fight in the first chapter. The bosses main attack, is that he will fire a homing missile at Vesta, so you’ll want the Mech positioned at the side of the map. When it shoots a homing missile at Vesta, run as far away as possible then quickly switch to the Mech with . You have to be quick with this part. Quickly aim and shoot the boss using and . If you were fast enough, you should be able to quickly hit and switch back to Vesta to dodge the missile and hurt the boss using before the stun timer is over. The boss may also, on very rare occasion use its move where it plants its arms into the ground and shoot bombs into the air.
