Introduction:

Welcome to the Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition Trophy Guide!
Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition is developed by Thinice Games and ported to consoles by Ratalaika Games S.L. and is specifically for the PS5.

The game itself is an upgraded and slightly different version to the 2017 release on the PS4. Trophy wise, this is easier than the original version and it should only take you around 1-2 hours for the .

Roadmap:

Step 1: Complete the first 22 Levels

You will only need to complete the first 22 Levels for the Platinum, with only a few of the trophies coming as part of clearing those levels.

There are a number of miscellaneous trophies that you will need to keep an eye out for if you are planning to obtain them during your initial playthrough, however, all these trophies can be earned via level select at any point once the level has been unlocked.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Gold This is odd
Gold Call it even

Step 2: Miscellaneous Clean-Up
For the majority of the remaining trophies you will need to complete a specific action, or complete the Level within a certain time whilst in the level. None of these are too difficult and explained further within the trophy descriptions.

The trophies here are listed in the order I obtained them whilst collecting through my Step 1 playthrough.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

Finish Level 02 in under 2:00, with max 2 jumps per robot
Not as difficult as it may seem, but you will need to almost take your time with this. There is a section where you will need to wait for the platforms to raise before dropping to the next ones, but other than that there is nothing to worry about.

If you are struggling with this check out the Video in King Robot from 02:15.

See ya in another life, brotha Gold
Finish Level 12 with your twin still trapped (and alive!)
You are able to complete this level without saving your Twin. Make sure you avoid stepping on the pressure pad when you get to it, otherwise you will void the trophy.

If you are struggling with this check out the Video in King Robot from 20:42.
Blue tiles Gold
Step on all energy tiles on Level 8
There are 130 Blue Tiles that need to be collected before finishing the level. Most are on the normal route to the exit for the second Twin once you have opened the door.

No rush upscale-245262160018212
Press the red button at the last minute, just right before your twin gets crushed

This can be obtained within any level and requires you to wait by the release pressure pad until the crusher is right above your twins’ head.

When you are getting close to running out of time there will be a pop up window on the left of the screen so that you know how close you are to your Twin dying. Continue to watch this crusher until it is right above your twin and then at the last minute step on the pressure release plate.

Collect 16 batteries across the game

There are 24 batteries scattered about the 22 levels are are required to be completed. They are not too hide to find and most are on the path to the end of the level. Simply collect 16 of these on the way to the finish for the trophy.

If you die within a level you will need to collect that battery again in order to count.
You can view what batteries you have collected in the Level Selection screen.

Find the painting zone in Level 20 and change the color of 1 robot

The Painting Zone can be found within the bottom area of this level and you will need both robots to reach the area in order for you to perform the action.

Firstly you will need to activate the pressure release plate by heading up jumping section just after the first fan. Once this is done head down and to the left avoiding the cogs, acid & squasher.
Just after the squasher you will head down and be met with a blade that is horizontal, which is the noticeable entrance to the Painting Zone. Simply jump across the gap here and enter the chamber on the right with one of the Twins. The other will need to step on the plate to activate the machine and change the colour of the Twin.

This is soccer upscale-245262160018212
Find and kick the soccer ball in Level 11

The soccer ball and goal are located towards the end of the level by the exit.
You will progress up a lift towards the exit with the option to go right to finish the level. For the trophy you will need to go left at the top of this lift and wall jump up to continue left for the items.

I am the one who knocks Gold
Run against a closed door

Simply run against any closed door for this trophy. Level end doors count, as do the barrier doors that appear in the later levels of the game.

Frogger Gold
Jump 75 times in a level (using the same robot)
You will need to complete this on a level that has either multiple batteries, or a lot of blue energy tiles.
Personally I was able to achieve this in Level 14.
The floor is lava Gold
Perform 10 consecutive wall jumps
There are a number of different places this can be achieved on your way through the 22 levels.
It can be first achieved in Level 10 as you progress up the tight wall jump on your way to the exit.
Call it even Gold
Finish even Levels 2, 4 and 6
This will be awarded once the 3 levels have been finished.

If you are struggling with any levels feel free to check out the video under King Robot .
This is odd Gold
Finish odd Levels 1, 3 and 5
This will be awarded once the 3 levels have been finished.

If you are struggling with any levels feel free to check out the video under King Robot .

Game Series We Really Need Back

One Comment

  • Thanks for the video guide Dino,I found it on YT today and gave it a Like. Yours was the only one I could find that actually bothered to include timestamps, so thanks for that.

It seems they dumbed down a few of the puzzles/platforming sections for the PS5 version,so for example on Level 9 you need to do this annoying leap using yellow tiles to build enough momentum. If you miss the jump you fall into a pool of acid and have to restart the level over again. On the PS5 version, as per your video, they put a fan there instead, so you float over the gap with no challenge.

Anyway, I think the level layouts are the same, so your video is proving to be helpful for the old version.

Which is good, because I absolutely hate this game and can’t wait to clear it from my backlog.:)

    Keep up the good work.
