Introduction:
Welcome to Tera Trophy Guide! TERA is a F2P Fantasy & Strategy MMORPG. Enter the world of Arborea and experience thrilling adventures with heroic battles!
Roadmap:
There is more than one method to approach this game. Here you will find the easiest and fastest way to achieve this platinum trophy.
If you want to boost/find a group of players for the bosses trophies or even the dungeon trophies, you all HAVE to download the game from the same region PS store and play from the same region of your friends so that way you can end up finding each other on the same servers;
Step 1: Level up!
During this stage, your main focus will be to level up until level 65. To do it, there is more than one method but if you follow the main story questlines while doing vanguard missions and secondary missions you will find that this is the best way to get a lot of XP while enjoying this good F2P. While doing the main missions, some of them will ask you to complete a dungeon too so this method will permit you to get some of the dungeons related trophies too while enjoying the game.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
Level 10
Level 20
Level 30
Level 40
Level 50
Level 60
Level 65
Step 2: Dungeons
IMPORTANT NOTE: with the awakening update, most of the dungeons can now be completed in solo mode.
The following progression dungeons can now be soloed:
- Bastion of Lok;
- Sinestral Manor;
- Cultists’ Refuge;
- Necromancer Tomb;
- Golden Labyrinth;
- Akasha’s Hideout;
- Saleron’s Sky Garden;
- Labyrinth of Terror;
- Ebon Tower;
- Kelsaik’s Nest;
- Manaya’s Core.
The following dungeons can be done in a group or soloed as well after reaching the required level cap or after:
- Saravash’s Ascent;
- Balder’s Temple;
- Argon Corpus;
- Sabex Armory;
- Macellarious Catacombs.
In TERA there are a lot of dungeons but just a few of them are required to unlock trophies. You can start doing dungeons only when you reach level 20. Each dungeon has a suggested level range, and matchmaking will only be available while your character is in that range. Remember that if you are a solo player, you will need to do every dungeon via matchmaking but you will need to face up to them while you are in the required level range. If you overpass that, you will need to do them solo or with a group going outside of the dungeon entrance. Otherwise, you can focus exclusively on leveling and return to do all the dungeons at the max level but the highest level ones will require more than a person to complete them without issues.
Here a list of the required dungeons:

Step 3: World Bosses
During this last step, you have to tackle the world bosses of the two continents of the game: Arun and Shara. This will be the longest and tedious step if you are unlucky because every boss has a respawn time and if someone else kills it you will have to wait from 1 to 5 hours for the respawn.
There are eleven world bosses in the Arun continent (check the Arun Boss trophy for a detailed list), 8 world bosses and 7 BAM’s (Big Ass Monsters) in the Shara continent (check the
Shara Boss trophy for more details).
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Arun Boss
Shara Boss
Classes
At the beginning of the game, you will have to choose a class. Choose carefully because you won’t be able to change it during the game.
the weapon system in TERA is not flexible too. The type of weapon you can use is determined by your class.
Here a table with all the classes:
CLASS | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|
ARCHER | This class is equipped with large bows, it’s fast speed and can fire arrows from a long distance. Archers deal large amounts of damage but have little defence so keeping the distance from enemies is important. |
BERSERKER | Berserkers are equipped with large axes. They deliver explosive bursts of damage to their opponents. The Berserkers’ axes have a very slow attack speed and little range, so it takes high concentration and a lot of caution to play with this class. |
LANCER | Lancers are equipped with spears and shields. Because of the shield, they have a high defensive capability, not only for themselves but also for others around them. The lancers are slower than other classes due to the weight of their armour and weapons and the size of the shield. |
MYSTIC | They are spiritual warriors who call on the forces of nature to help allies and kill enemies. They can restore life or drain so they are used as a mix between supporter and dealer but they haven’t a good defence as they only wear light armour. For that reason, it’s not an easy class but when you managed it, it can be really funny to use it. |
PRIEST | The Priest class has a healing role at the most. They use their staff to recover, heal and protect their allies in battle. Priests can also deal damage with skills as divine fire or debuffing them but it’s mainly used as a support class. |
SLAYER | Slayers carry heavy armour and huge great swords so they are slow but they give a huge amount of damages. They are really useful when there are a lot of enemies around. |
SORCERER | The sorcerer uses hidden, mystical magic This class deal high damage from a distance and support allies too. Sorcerers use mystical disks and are one of the strongest damage dealers but have little defence. |
WARRIOR | Warriors are fast due to the double wielding. Even though they deal little damage but they keep attacking enemies because of their agility. |
REAPER | The reaper is a very mobile class that uses chain blades to give damage and also absorb health from enemies. You can choose this class if you have another class that is already level 40. |
GUNNER | Gunners are fast and have a high DPS (damage per second). They have a lot of run-and-gun tactics. |
BRAWLER | The brawler is an offensive class with heavy armour and power fists that do damage and block incoming attacks. Its main role is to tank against enemies and keep attacking them. |
NINJA | The ninja relies on hit-and-run tactics so it’s agile and with little defence but it deals deadly damage with shuriken while close or far away from the enemies. |
VALKYRIE | The Valkyrie brands runemarks onto enemies and explodes them for massive damage. She mixes slashes, leaping attacks, and power slam to destroy her foes. |
Tips
There are a lot of tips but here you should find the most important ones:
- Always remember to upgrade your pieces of equipment, especially weapons;
- While leveling up, you will have the opportunity to upgrade, change and put glyphs on your abilities. You can keep your default skills and always put recommended glyphs too as if you do it, you can get the platinum trophy easily too, but if you want to work on a really good build, you can change them at your leisure;
- With the Awakening Update, nearly all the Dungeons can be completed solo via teleport access. You can choose to do them when you can or get to the max level and solo them all. The only dungeon that requires a lot of attention is the Saleron’s Sky Garden one and it’s strictly advised to do it when the game allows you to do it (more details in the trophy description:
So Above);
- To fasten the game a lot, always buy Teleport Scrolls. This way you can move around the various places and provinces really fast avoiding you to waste a lot of time. You can buy them from the stores in the main cities;
- This guide is based on the PvE method of earning XP. However, you can also do a PvP method which is fast but will get easily repetitive. To do it, you must do a lot of Kumas Royale matches through matchmaking;
- When you are searching for a World Boss keep in mind that these unique enemies have multiple spawn locations, so ALWAYS check each spot to “easily” find them. To make your life easier, you can also switch the channel (menu then
) and check if the boss you are searching for is spawned in that channel as well. If not come back after to check again;
- You will need a group of a minimum of three skilled players in order to beat the level 68 World bosses. Remember that if there are other groups around the boss your group MUST attack the boss as the first in order to make it count for the trophy.

![]() ![]() Reach level 65 |
To get this trophy you have to reach level 65. Unlike most MMOs TERA allows players to level quickly.
There are two main ways to level up:
- PvE: Follow the game’s main story, secondary missions, and doing dungeons.
- PvP: Available from level 20. You will do a lot of Kumas Royale matches. Remember that each match takes 10-15 minutes and you will get a lot of XP only if you win the match.
This guide is based on the PvE mode because it wants you to enjoy the story and appreciate what TERA has to offer, so keep doing all main, secondary and vanguard missions and you will reach the level required to get this gold trophy without any troubles and without wasting a lot of time.
If you want to speed up more this process, there is the Elite Status, a subscription that gives you XP boosts, etc. However, it’s not necessary to earn this trophy because while doing missions you will get some consumable items that give the same XP boosts but for a shorter amount of time. These consumable items are:
- 50% XP boost: increases XP rewards from killing mobs by 50%. The duration applies even when you are offline;
- 100% XP boost: increases XP rewards from killing mobs by 100%. The duration applies even when you are offline.
NOTE: Remember to use them when you can play most of their durations in order to give the best XP boost without wasting it.

BUGGY and MISSABLE.
This should be your eighth dungeon of the game. You will have access to this one when you reach level 53. Its entrance is located in Tor Exsul in Val Elenium Province.
This will be the longest dungeon trophy related you have to unlock because of the bosses’ randomness. You will deal with five bosses in total (four and a bonus one) but there are three trials where the bosses are randomly sorted and to get the trophy you will need to kill all of the possible ones. However here a table with the names of all of them and the dungeon related missions:
BOSSES | MAIN QUESTS |
---|---|
|
|
NOTES: this trophy is tagged as missable and buggy because of the randomness of the bosses and because of the bonus boss too. Someone also unlocked it at his first try without beating all the random bosses listed. However, the bonus boss is required for this trophy and to beat it you need to get a key during the last trial with one of the three possible bosses (Adryssir, Mektryssir or Valtryssir). When its life bar drops below 50% you will receive a message on your screen: “Someone has stolen a key from the Talon of Saleron.”. The moment this message appears, an enemy appears (Caiman Keybearer) in the middle of the arena. Kill it within ten seconds to take the key and unlock the bonus fight. Once you are done with the boss, Torsten will appear. Give him the key and enter the new teleportal near the exit one.
IMPORTANT: Someone also listed that if you do the dungeon when you are out of its level range, the Caiman Keybearer did not appear making the final boss fight unreachable. To avoid any issues with the key holder, DO the dungeon within levels 53 – 57 from the Instance matchmaking menu.

![]() ![]() Clear Labyrinth of Terror(solo). |
This should be your ninth dungeon of the game. You will have access to this one when you reach level 57. To get access to this dungeon you have to go in the Plain of the Damned in Lorcada Province.
Here a table with the number and name of the bosses and dungeon related missions:
BOSSES | MAIN QUESTS |

![]() ![]() Clear Ebon Tower(solo). |
This should be your tenth dungeon of the game. You will have access to this one when you reach level 58. To get access to this dungeon you have to go in the Vale of Spires in Lorcada Province.
Here a table with the number and name of the bosses and dungeon related missions:

![]() ![]() Clear Kelsaik’s Nest(solo). |
This dungeon requires Level 58 to access. Its entrance is located in the Vale of Spires in Lorcada Province and It should be your eleventh dungeon. Kelsaik’s Nest is the shortest dungeon you will face up but it should not be underestimated. In fact, there are traps, five strong enemies, and a boss.

There is also an optional Golem Generator which, if destroyed gives you a special protection buff so it’s recommended to break it.
