Introduction:

Welcome to the Snake Boat: Otterrific Arcade Trophy Guide!
Play as Pete or Petra the snake, trapped in a pond and hunted by unseen enemies, you must dodge the arrows to try and survive as long as possible. 

This is a game definitely for the trophy hunters as it is a very easy and fast platinum, and is also very cheap costing only 0.79p in the PSN store! 
There are 29 trophies total, 27 in the base list and 2 new free DLC trophies. All the trophies are simple and straightforward, so just see the steps below to see how to get the platinum in the quickest way.

 

Roadmap:

Step 1: Select to play as PETRA. Then play NORMAL mode for 2 seconds, to unlock hard mode.
You begin the game with easy mode and normal mode unlocked. To unlock hard mode just play normal mode for a second or 2 (of course you can play for longer if you like but you don’t need to), then press pause, select ‘End game’, and select ‘Quit’.
And for playing as Petra you will get the new DLC trophy too.

Here you will earn:
New Snake Who Dis? (Free DLC trophy)

Step 2: Replay NORMAL mode for 3 seconds, to beat your previous record.
Replay normal mode and just last a little longer than you previously did, before quitting out again. This will get you the trophy for beating your own personal high score.

Here you will earn:
Recursive Snake

Step 3: Play HARD mode for 2 seconds, to unlock blind mango mode.
Again just briefly enter hard mode, as doing so will unlock blind mango for us, no matter the score.

Step 4: Play BLIND MANGO mode for 5 cumulative minutes.
Now play blind mango mode, and stay in this mode for 5 minutes until the The Mango Strikes Back trophy unlocks. It doesn’t have to be in one go, it doesn’t matter if you die, you can just keep pressing restart, as the times all add up towards the 5 minutes. You can try to dodge the arrows if you like or you can just AFK and do nothing for 5 mins lol your choice. While you’re waiting for these 5 minutes to pass all other trophies will unlock!
NOTE: Otteriffic High Score trophy may or may not unlock naturally for you here, just be aware it is for lasting 3 mins in one go, so don’t quit out too soon if you’re close. if it doesn’t unlock see the next step!

Step 5: If you still need Otteriffic High Score trophy, now play EASY mode for 3 minutes.
This will be an unnecessary step for some, as this trophy can unlock while you are AFK’ing in blind mango mode. But if you are a little more unlucky then this will be your last trophy to get. Easiest way to get it is to now simply play easy mode, and survive for 3 minutes in there. This trophy is not cumulative and does need to be done in one go, but easy mode is of course nice and easy and you have lots of lives so you’ll be fine.

Bustling Snake Survive for a total of at least 5 minutes on Hard mode or harder.

This may be your last trophy to get.

Not cumulative.
It requires you get a score of 180, meaning 180 seconds, which is 3 minutes, in one go.

It may naturally unlock while you are spending the 5 minutes in Blind Mango mode, or you may be a little unlucky and not get this trophy by the time you have finished the blind mango trophies. If that is the case, simply now play easy mode, and survive in there for 3 minutes, which will be the easiest way to get the trophy. 

Experienced Snake Boat Score Finish a game on any difficulty with a score of at least 120. (Congrats, you’ve lasted longer than the attention span of our playtesters!)

Most likely will unlock naturally while you are getting all the blind mango mode trophies.

Not cumulative.
Survive in a single run in any mode for 2 minutes.

The Middle Child Snake Boat Score Finish a game on any difficulty with a score of at least 90. (Meh. Nothing to see here. The higher and lower scores are more interesting.)

Will unlock naturally while you are getting all the blind mango mode trophies.

Not cumulative.
Survive in a single run in any mode for 90 seconds.

Impressive Snake Boat Score Finish a game on any difficulty with a score of at least 60. (Yes, good, good…. Let the snake flow through you…)

Will unlock naturally while you are getting all the blind mango mode trophies.

Not cumulative.
Survive in a single run in any mode for 60 seconds.

Beginner Snake Boat Score Finish a game on any difficulty with a score of at least 30. (That’s a good score for your presumably first attempt!)

Will unlock naturally while you are getting all the blind mango mode trophies.

Survive in a single run in any mode for 30 seconds.

Recursive Snake Beat your own personal high score in any mode. (It’s a snake-eat-snake world… Wait, wrong game?)

Beat your own personal high score in any mode, play for just a few seconds to keep it simple. The trophy will unlock when you have died or quit out from the pause menu.
