Welcome to the Rocket Punch Trophy Guide!
Rocket Punch is a purposefully goofy motion control game, that I had crazy fun playing! Strong with humour, and random madness, if you like your indie games on the crazy side then you’re gonna love this one 😀
It starts off energetic as you punch your way through scrolling levels on your quest to find the sun… The only hope for humanity with all this mess of global warming is to punch the sun right in the face! Using the movement of the light bar on your dualshock controller tracked by a PlayStation Camera to sock it to satellites, space cowboys, 80’s techno demons, and any other jerks in your way as you go.
But then the 2nd part of the game… Enters a whole new crazy world of Rocket Punch! With hilarious cutscenes, secrets, and an extra 11 game modes that can be played!
Trophy-wise they are going to be nice and easy to get with this this guide, without a guide they would be pretty obscure to find yourself, as some are in secret places very well hidden, but I’ve got your back covered with all the info written below 🙂
Roadmap:
Step 1: Complete the levels, defeating the 5 bosses.
There will be 12 short levels to play, and every 2 levels will be a boss fight (except level 6 which will have no boss). You will get 6 trophies for defeating these bosses. When you have defeated the sun boss, that is this section of the game done. This part will take 20 minutes to complete. (You may need a little practice to start with to get used to the levels, but you’ll soon get the hang of it!)

Step 2: Terminal menu 2nd part of the game, get the 4 keys and the real ending!
*I highly recommend getting these keys now first, when you first reach the terminal menu part of the game. Because once when I left getting the keys till last the trophies didn’t unlock for some reason.*
Find the 4 keys hidden in the game, use the video guide or trophy descriptions in the guide below to see how to get them, to get the true ending and the real beat the game trophy.

Step 3: Terminal menu miscellaneous trophies.
Now all that’s left is to mop up all those miscellaneous trophies! They’re all very easy and quick to get, from the terminal menu just nip into each of the 11 other game modes, and use the video guide or trophy descriptions written below to see how to get all the rest of the remaining trophies!

Quick Text Walkthrough:
*I highly recommend you get all the trophies in this order written below, to make sure you get them all nice and easy 🙂 *
Complete the 12 levels + the 6 bosses to complete the 1st part of the game.
*All 6 boss trophies* (6/31)
When you have completed the game, the phone will ring, press 
to answer the phone.
*Ahoy-Hoy trophy* (7/31)
Follow instructions on screen, press up on d-pad to enter photo mode, then press left or right on the d-pad in photo mode to change the colour filter.
*Master Photographer trophy* (8/31)
Follow instructions on screen, pull back on the left thumbstick until you see the glitchy shape. Press L2 to shoot the glitchy shape, which will give you the first key (1/4).
*Key 101 trophy* (9/31)
At the terminal main menu, press save game.
Swipe up on touchpad to leave a comment on screen.
*Everyone’s a Critic trophy* (10/31)
Now get the 3 other keys:
Key (2/4) – At the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’ and enter Dog Petting game mode. In the mode rapidly keep swiping up on the touchpad to fill the screen with chat which will find the 2nd key!
*Dog petting game mode trophy* (11/31)
*Key finder beginner* (12/31)
Key (3/4) – At the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’ and enter Golfing game mode. (Crazy controls beware lol) Keep rotating the right thumbstick clockwise until the fishing rod appears. Cast and aim the fishing rod at the fish/shadow until the hook comes down on the screen. Then rotate the right thumbstick to reel in your catch giving you the next key!
*Golfing game mode trophy* (13/31)
*Key FAQ Writer trophy* (14/31)
Key (4/4) – At the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’ and enter Running game mode. Press up on d-pad to enter photo mode. Keep shaking the controller to rise up and find the final key!
*Running game mode trophy* (15/31)
*Key Data Miner trophy* (16/31)
When you have found these 4 keys you’ll be brought to a sock boss fight! Scroll down select the 4th secret blank cursor space, and here type: ‘rm boss’. Which will kill the boss and get you the real ending!
*Thinking Outside the Box trophy* (17/31)
During the credits give a round of applause! The mic of the PlayStation camera will pick up the sound of you clapping to unlock this trophy.
*You’re Too Kind trophy* (18/31)
Back at the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’ and nip into each other game mode to get the trophy then press exit (except ‘text adventure’, we’ll get that next). :

Back at the terminal main menu, scroll down to the blank cursor space at the bottom (below ‘credits’). Clicking on this space will open a secret text input box. Type: ‘Adventure’.

Type ‘exit’ to get back to the terminal main menu.
Click again on the same blank cursor space at the bottom, and this time type: ‘Ls’.
*Hackerman trophy* (29/31)
Type ‘exit’ to get back to the main menu.
Back at the terminal menu, select ‘Launch rocketpunch.eboot’ and replay any level, purposefully die to get a game over screen. On the game over screen swipe up on the touchpad to make an F comment in the chat to get this last trophy!

This trophy will automatically unlock when you have defeated the Rocket Boss in level 2.
Simply dodge the pillars coming towards you, and punch the rocket when it is close enough to you.
 Bang! Zoom! Beat The Moon |
There are 12 levels of the main game to complete.
This trophy will automatically unlock when you have defeated the Space Cowboy Boss in level 4.
Stay in the opposite corners of the screen to where he is to avoid his machine gun bullets, then punch him when he comes closer to you in the middle of the screen when he has a red outline.
 Event Horizon Beat Black Hole |

This trophy will automatically unlock when you have completed level 6.
Mysteriously there is a missing boss fight… Yay free trophy haha XD

This trophy will automatically unlock when you have defeated the Black Void Boss in level 8.
Just play pong with this boss to defeat it. It will throw an enemy at you, hit the enemy back and if it hits the boss it will cause it damage.
 Hell’s Where They Wanna Be Beat Cyber Space Hell |
There are 12 levels of the main game to complete.
This trophy will automatically unlock when you have defeated the Invisible Boss in level 10.
This boss will be invisible to start with, move around the screen to find it, when your rocket punch fist has moved over it you will now see the white demonic creature. Now just keep it in your sights as it moves closer to you to punch it. You will need to locate it again and do the same again after each punch.

This trophy will automatically unlock when you have defeated the Sun Boss in level 12.
Punch back the things the sun throws at you to damage its hands. Then when the sun’s face moves closer to you, flick your controller forward to do a lunging punch to punch the sun in the face! Defeating this boss and completing the main levels of the game!
 Ahoy-Hoy Answer the phone |
When you have defeated the final Sun Boss of the main game, the phone will ring through your controller, and on screen it will say to press button to answer the phone, so simply press the circle button to answer the phone to get this trophy.

After completing the main levels of the game, you will reach the second part of the game, the computer terminal main menu.
At the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’
Select game mode ‘Gun’
Then select ‘Load Save State’
The trophy will unlock when the Gun game mode begins.

This will open a secret text input box!
In this text box now type ‘Adventure’.
The trophy will unlock when the Adventure game mode begins.
Type ‘Exit’ in the text box after to get back to the terminal main menu.

At the terminal menu simply swipe up on the touchpad of your controller, which will leave a comment on screen, unlocking this trophy.

In any level, press UP on the d-pad which will enter Photo Mode.
Now in photo mode press left or right on the d-pad which will change the colour filters, unlocking this trophy.

After completing the main levels of the game, you will reach the second part of the game, the computer terminal main menu.
From the terminal menu after you have found the 4 keys and defeated the Sock Boss you will reach the credits.
During the credits simply give a round of applause! The microphone of the PlayStation Camera will pick up the sound of you clapping, unlocking this trophy.
Alternatively, from the terminal menu you can select ‘Credits’ there.

After completing the main levels of the game, you will reach the second part of the game, the computer terminal main menu.
This trophy will unlock when you have entered all the 11 other game modes from the terminal menu.
From the terminal menu select ‘View archived game modes’ then enter:

After you have completed the main levels of the game, there will be some cutscenes that will automatically bring you into a new game mode.
Follow the instructions on screen; press up on the d-pad to enter photo mode, then pull back on the left thumbstick until you see the glitchy shape. Then press L2 to shoot the glitchy shape which will give you the first key! Unlocking this trophy.

After completing the main levels of the game, and after you have found the 4 keys from the 2nd part of the game in the terminal menu, you’ll be brought to a Sock Boss fight, the real final boss!
During this sock boss fight scroll down and select the 4th secret blank cursor space (option BELOW ‘Give Up’), this will open a secret text box!
In this text box type: ‘rm boss’.
This will kill the boss and get you the real ending! Unlocking this trophy.

After completing the main levels of the game, you will reach the second part of the game, the computer terminal main menu.
At the terminal menu scroll down to the bottom and click on the seemingly blank cursor space (under ‘Credits’).
This will open a secret text input box!
In this text box now type ‘Ls’.
This screen will give you the Hackerman trophy.
Type ‘Exit’ in the text box after to get back to the terminal main menu.

After completing the main levels of the game, you will reach the second part of the game, the computer terminal main menu. At this 2nd section of the game you can now leave comments on screen.
At the terminal main menu, select ‘Launch rocketpunch.eboot’ and replay any level, purposefully die to get a game over screen. On the game over screen wait a couple of seconds then swipe up on the touchpad to make an F comment in the chat. Which will unlock this trophy!
