Introduction:

Welcome to the Rive Trophy Guide! Do you like Tanks, Platforming, or killing cockroaches? Then RIVE is for you! Escape the perilous, mysterious space facility and earn a platinum trophy in this fun action sidescrolling platformer!

Roadmap:

Step 1: Play the Game While Being Mindful of Collectibles and Missables

During this stage, just play the game and have fun! Enjoy the humor, the fun gameplay and the environment. Also be mindful of the missables such as Gold New Sheriff In Town, Silver Big Saver and Silver Don’t Shoot The Messenger. After this playthrough you should have a few of the trophies and be familiar with the game and mechanics.

You’ll be earning these trophies:

Captain Ahab
Eye of the Tiger
Big Saver
New Sheriff in Town
But They’re Armless!
Master of the Universe
Pay Attention, Houdini!
Breaking the Entering
Lock and Load
Don’t Shoot The Messenger

Step 2: Do a Second Playthrough and focus on Single Purchase and Motherloot

For this playthrough, you should be familiar and comfortable with the game, so you should have little problems completing it with only 1 upgrade. You might hit a few parts that take some tries, but there shouldn’t be anything to difficult. Also focus on getting as much loot as you can to have over 10,000 for the Gold Motherloot trophy. If you didn’t get Silver Big Saver on your first run, now would be the time to do it to save another playthrough. By the end of this step you should be very comfortable with the game and have even more of the trophies.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

Single Purchase
Gold Motherloot

Step 3: Miscellaneous Trophy Cleanup

Now would be the best time to get all of the random trophies in the game for random actions or events. You can do all the Mission related ones from Mission Select, so none are missable. At the end of this step, you’ll only need a handful of trophies.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:

Purge
Unblockable
Scavenger
Minesweeper
Fried Squid
Smashed and Silvered
01110100 01101000 01100101 00000001

L-IFE!
Sleeping With the Fishes
CHOO CHOO!
We Come in Peace
Doggy Style
Squeeky Clean
Greenpeace
Old McDonald
Pest Control
Friendly Waters
 Follow the Leader
Mint Condition
Willy

Step 4: One Credit Mode

By this time you should only need the trophies pertaining to One Credit Mode. For this mode, you only have 1 life, and the difficulty is automatically set to Hard. You can save and quit, but wherever you leave off, is where you will come back to. If you quit to the main menu in the middle of a fight because you’re about to die, you will be in the same position, about to die, when you load the game. Luckily you can back up your saves just before a big fight, so this mode will just be some trial and error. By the end of this step you will have the last few trophies and a shiny platinum!

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:

Silver You Can Do It, In Theory
We Never Actually Tested This
Silver God Mode
 Collectionista

Trophy Guide:

Collectionista
Get the ultimate Trophy by getting all Trophies.
Purge
Destroy all malfunctioning kamikaze enemies in the Epilogue.

During the Epilogue, there will be some Kamikaze drones that are just sitting on the floor and short circuiting. Simply destroy all the Blue Kamikaze drone in the first area of the epilogue, and the trophy will unlock after you destroy the last one.

Get past the dropped container in the warp room in the Epilogue.

At the very end of the Epilogue,  you’ll fall down a shaft and find yourself back in the warp room where the upgrade station is. When you get to the bottom, a crate will crash into the ground on your left. Simply use shoot your missiles at the ground to get extra air, then double jump over the crate and when you get to the other side, the trophy will unlock.

Captain Ahab
Defeat the Super Skywhale.

The Super Skywhale is the boss you will face during Mission 3. This boss is very easy. It will move from left to right, releasing drones that you have to kill and can farm loot from. As its moving it will have its shield up, and it will come down when it releases enemies. The only real threat you have to be aware of is a wave of fire that comes from the right and moves to the left. When you see it just jump over it. When the boss is killed, you will receive the trophy.

Eye of the Tiger
Defeat the Mega Smashbot.

The Mega Smashbot is the boss of Mission 8. The fight will start out with him trying to attack you by smashing into you, so just avoid it. He then goes transparent until you defeat the enemies he summons. Eventually he will keep trying to constantly attack you at a very fast speed, and everytime he does, he spawns a wave of enemies. It may be a bit tough to get the routine down, but stay on the left side of the map. He will go to attack you, then jump to the center and attack him, then wait for him to attack again and jump to the left and aim up to kill the enemies that were just spawned. The reason you want to hug the left side of the map is because on the right side, dangerous obstacles are constantly spawning in. Eventually you will pick away at all his health and then the trophy will unlock.

Scavengerupscale-245262160018212
Find all secret pickups.

There are 5 hidden items in RIVE that you must find. They are pretty well hidden, but you should be able to find at least one or two.

The following is the location of all secret pickups:

  • Arcade Stick: At the end of Mission 2, it is in the shaft above the Skywhale body. To get up to it, have the missiles and use them on the floor to get the extra air and double jump onto the Skywhale body. Up in the shaft is the Arcade Stick and 2 roaches as well!
  • Diskette: During Mission 3, you’ll reach a shaft with 3 destructible crates with lava to the left of them. Continue on and you’ll enter a Gravity Bubble where you have to hack a switch that changes the flow of lava. Hack the switch twice, and after you hack it for the second time, quickly run left, down to the crates, and destroy them. Past them is the Diskette hidden item.
  • Processor: During Mission 9, you’ll be in an area with rising lava and you have to run very fast. You’ll come across a part with a single Gravity Bubble and after that more blue enemies will spawn from the right. Kill them and then jump over to the right hand side and you’ll see the groove where they came from and above that is a tight corridor with 3 destructible crates. Destroy the crates and jump into the corridor and at the end will be the Processor hidden item and a roach!
  • Mouse: During Mission 11, you’ll come across a bridge that collapses. On the right hand side, just as the bridge collapses will be a small tight corridor you can jump into. Just as the bridge falls, you HAVE to jump to get into the corridor. If you miss it, let the trains below hit you to try again. In the corridor will be the roach and the Mouse hidden item!
  • Monitor: At the end of Mission 11, you will get the Hack Module. Use a Kamikaze drone to go into the shaft on the left side of the screen. When you enter the shaft, stay near the entrance and wait for another one. Hack another Kamikaze drone and float to the top middle of the map, and there you will find a little platform with 3 roaches and the Monitor hidden item.

Max out before Mission 9.

MISSABLE

To get this trophy, you must acquire all 8 of the upgrades before you start mission 9. I came up just 400 loot short during my initial playthrough. The best way to tackle this is tough. Whenever there’s a constant spawn of enemies, it’s advised that you just keep killing them until eventually they stop dropping loot. So anytime an airship is constantly dropping enemies, don’t kill the ship until the enemies stop dropping loot. The enemies also don’t drop loot if they crash into you and blow up. You must kill them for them to drop loot. Refer to   Bronze Lock and Load for details on how much each upgrade costs. This can be paired with  Motherloot and SilverSingle Purchase. Just after Mission 8 is completed, you’ll be next to the upgrade station. Simply back up your save, get all the upgrades, and then re-download your save file.

Next Sheriff in TownGold
Reach the final boss in a campaign mode without firing any special attacks.

MISSABLE

For this trophy you can’t fire your special weapon at all. You have to go through the entire game without pressing . If you do accidentally use a special weapon attack, quickly close the application and that will make it as if you never did. The trophy will unlock as you enter the room with the Final Boss in it.

But They’re Harmlessupscale-245262160018212
Find all innocent cockroaches on the starship, and kill them dead.

For this trophy you have to kill all the “Collectible” roaches. A lot of the roaches are out in the open and you’ll end up killing a lot without even realizing, so you should have no problems at all finding all of the roaches by yourself, or even a vast majority. If you’ve missed any, the guide below goes by missions and where they can be found if you’re missing some.

Mission 1

  • Cockroach 1 – As soon as the drone opens up the door, it’ll be crawling one the platform wall on your right.
  • Cockroach 2 – Right after the previous roach, you’ll have to destroy turrets on a ceiling, and then you’ll have 5 drone shot at you, after you kill them, drop down off the platform and the cockroach will be on the floor below you, between a wall and a destructible.
  • Cockroach 3 – Shortly after you enter the facility you’ll be on a crate, tasked to hack a panel, on this crate is the 1st cockroach.
  • Cockroach 4 – After the last cockroach, you’ll fall into a hole, into a new area. After walking through a crate with a hole in it, the cockroach will be on the ceiling in the red light.
  • Cockroach 5 – After the last cockroach, there will be destructible crates in your way, and on the floor around them will be the next cockroach.
  • Cockroach 6 – You’ll fall into a hole right after the previous cockroach and be attacked by 3 drones. Once they’re dead, look on the left wall for the crawling cockroach.
  • Cockroach 7 – After the last roach, you’ll jump over a platform that you’ll be told is a warp drive, after that you’ll enter a door where there’s a pit. On the right upper wall, you’ll see the cockroach. Shoot it before jumping down.
  • Cockroach 8 – You’ll come to your first upgrade machine, and the cockroach is right above it, so jump so you can see it on the ceiling above, and shoot it.

Mission 2

  • Cockroach 1 – As soon as you start the mission in the flying section, look on the floor on the right side, and you’ll find it between the wall and teleporter.
  • Cockroach 2 – In same section as the first roach, you’ll come to a point where a pipe explodes and starts shooting steam. Head to the right as far as you can, then follow the path up. You’ll come to an alcove where you have to destroy a turret on a ceiling shooting a laser. The roach is on the floor in the red light of this alcove.
  • Cockroach 3-6 – Later in the mission, you’ll be stuck in an area with lasers on each side where you have to defeat a couple waves on enemies, and once this is done you’ll then fight a big mass of drones. You’ll then fall into a thin corridor afterwards and the next many roaches are all right next to each other. Your character will comment on the roaches so you’ll know when you get to them.
  • Cockroaches 7-11 – Drop down from the previous roaches and they will all be in a room on the right with a health pickup.
  • Cockroach 12 – Continue on from the last set of roaches and go left. When you fall for the first time, you’ll be attacked, and the roach will be crawling on the wall to your right.
  • Cockroach 13 – After the long conveyor belt section, you’ll come to an area with a big pile of scrap where your character will say “Here’s my big pile of loot right here!”. On the left wall of this section is the next roach.
  • Cockroach 14&15 – In the same area as the previous roach, if you have the missiles, use them to shoot the floor right under you to get some extra air to get on top of the giant Skywhale. Above there is a shaft with the roaches and a hidden item!

Mission 3

  • Cockroaches 1-4 – As soon as the mission starts, drop down to the right, and the first 4 cockroaches will be there immediately.
  • Cockroach 5 – You’ll enter a subway station for this mission, as you do, go to the middle platform on the left with an electric fence. On the ceiling is the roach.
  • Cockroach 6 – In the same area as the last roach, go to the top right section of the area, and the next roach will be crawling on the floor.
  • Cockroach 7-8 – After you activate the warp gate, you’ll be back in a previous area. The roaches will be on the right hand wall and on the ceiling of the door shaft.
  • Cockroach 9 – Right after the last roaches, you’ll jump into a “Gravity Bubble”, before you leave this, go to the left side of it and you’ll see the roach crawling on the ceiling just above where lava is getting spit out of a pipe.
  • Cockroach 10-11 – Just after you fight the “Super Skywhale”, you’ll come to an area with a bunch of fire spewing turrets. As you reach the first lava pit, the cockroaches will be on the left wall on the lower platforms.
  • Cockroach 12 – After the previous roaches, you’ll have to do a fight in a Gravity Bubble. After that you’ll enter a shaft where you’ll eventually have to run from lava. After jumping up the platforms, you’ll see 3 destructibles on your left and lava to the left of those, and the roach is in between them.
  • Cockroach 13 – Jumping up the platforms from the previous roach, you’ll reach a pool of lava, and on the platform on the left of the pool, is the roach on the floor.
  • Cockroach 14 – After jumping into the Gravity Bubble right after the previous roach, you have to hack a switch. Hack the switch twice, and then run back to the location of roach 12, and keep going left. You’ll find a hidden item and the roach on the left wall.
  • Cockroach 15 – After continuing through the level, you’ll have to do another fight in a Gravity Bubble that has 7 saw blades to the right of it. After the fight, jump up the 4 platforms, and on the left you’ll see crates and a switch. The roach is on the floor next to the crates.
  • Cockroach 16&17 – After the previous roach, you’ll enter a new area. You’ll then have to run from lava and you’ll fall into a hole and a platform will appear under you. Above you will be the next 2 roaches that you must quickly kill.
  • Cockroach 18 – As the platform fall out from under you to start the lava chase scene, drop to the right ONCE, and the roach will be on the ceiling next to you. You must be very fast.
  • Cockroach 19 – After the last roach, drop down 3 more times, and immediately to the left on the ceiling is the next roach. Once again, be very fast.
  • Cockroach 20 – During the lava chase scene, you’ll eventually come across ONE White light. Right next to the light on the right wall is the roach. Quickly kill it and keep running from the lava.
  • Cockroach 21 – At the end of the chase scene, you’ll see 2 lava waterfalls, and just after the 2nd waterfall of lava, there’s a little edge you can walk off onto another platform, and the roach is on the edge of the lip of the platform. You have to be quick, because when the lava hits the lower part of the platform, you can kill the roach through the lava.
  • Cockroach 22&23 – On the first platform you’ll be standing on when the lava chase ends, the first roach will be on the floor of the platform, and the other will be on the left wall of the platform.
  • Cockroach 24 – On the next platform after the previous roaches, it’ll be on the left wall of the platform.
  • Cockroach 25,26,27 – On the platform after the previous roach, there will be a roach on the left wall, on the floor, and on the right wall of the platform.

Mission 4

  • Cockroach 1,2,3,4 – At the beginning of the mission, you’ll start in a tight corridor. At the end it’ll open up into a big area with a teleport pad. The first roach is on the wall to your left, so jump keep shooting up until you here it die. The next 2 roaches are crawling on the wall to the right above you. Just keep shooting until you eventually hear them die. The last one is in the first grate on the right next to the teleport pad, simply shoot down into it. You can also press Options  then   to check the roaches in the area, before and after you kill them to make sure you got them.
  • Cockroach 5 – When you reach your first Gravity Bubble, look to the left and you’ll see a switch, next to the switch, you’ll see the roach crawling on the wall.

  • Cockroach 7&8 – You’ll reach a point of rotating Nurse Droids where they are leaving a tube and entering another. Next to the tube they enter, is the roach on the left, and next to that on the left are 3 crates. In between the wall and crate on top is the other roach.

Mission 5

  • Cockroach 1&2 – Shortly after starting the mission, you’ll reach a point where you’re in an alcove with 6 laser turrets that you have to destroy. After destroying them, the 2 roaches are on the ceiling of the area. Don’t fall down the hole until you get them.
  • Cockroach 3-6 – Shortly after the last roaches, you’ll jump down some holes. You’ll then be in a tight corridor where there are 3 holes above you with laser turrets shooting into them and a train runs over the holes to block the lasers to progress. On the far right hole, quickly kill the turret and jump above and destroy all the turrets. You have to watch out for the train though. There is 1 roach crawling on the right wall, 2 on the ceiling, and 1 one the left wall.
  • Cockroach 7 – At one point, shortly after the previous roaches, you’ll have to jump onto trains and hack a switch. You then go into a shaft and fall down and you’ll be in a spot which a train passes over and you’ll see 3 laser turrets on your left. Where the turret bases are, is where the roach is.
  • Cockroach 8 – Shortly after the previous roach, you’ll enter a new area. In the area you destroy a destructible and a water spout starts shooting up. Go up the spout and to the left, and the roach will be on the roof.

  • Cockroach 10 – From the last roach, continue to the right and you’ll go through a small tube into another big area with water. The roach is once again on the ceiling of this area.
  • Cockroach 11 – From the previous roach, you will once again go through a tube. At the end of the tube will be an area with 3 turrets, and a bunch of bats above them. Dispatch the enemies and climb up the ledges to the left and the roach will be on the roof.
  • Cockroach 12,13,14 – After an area where you have to kill a bunch of dropship type enemies and a big ship drops crates so you can get out of the room, enter a room with a teleporter. On the ceiling are two pipes. On the left pipe there is 1 roach of the left side and on the right pipe, there is a roach on both sides.
  • Cockroach 15 – After an underwater section, you’ll finally be on land and you’ll immediately have to jump over 2 spinning saw blades. The roach is above the crawling on the wall on the left.
  • Cockroach 16 – Just after the last roach, you’ll reach a dry spot of land with a hatch in the wall. Jump up to the left back into the water, and on the second platform, just above you next to the white light is the roach.
  • Cockroach 17&18 – Just after the last roach, you’ll once again be on dry land, and right above you will be the next 2 roaches. You’ll know this spot because just to the right will be a glowing orange light.
  • Cockroach 19 – Just after the last 2 roaches, you’ll get a new weapon hack and just to the right of that, under a tube sticking out of the wall, will be the roach.

Mission 6

  • Cockroach 1-5 – At the beginning of the level, the talking droid will be telling you what the facility is used for, so go in the hallway to the right. At the end of the hallway will be a stream of water going into a pool of water. On the ceiling of this room will be the first 5 roaches.
  • Cockroach 6 – After the previous roaches, you’ll go into a tube and get sucked through it in water. At the end you’ll be in another area and there will be a pit to your right. Jump over it for the next roach. You cannot go through the red blinking door for all the other roaches yet.
  • Cockroach 7 – After jumping into the warp station, you’ll be back in a familiar area. Jump to the top of the platforms and on the right in the red light, there will be a roach.
  • Cockroach 8 – After jumping through a door just after the previous roach, you’ll see a tube coming out of the wall. The roach is crawling on the ceiling just above the pipe.
  • Cockroach 9 – From the previous roach, follow the platform to the left. On the first landing you jump up to, is the roach.
  • Cockroach 10 – From the previous roach, you’re character will make a quip about the AC, and then you’ll see a hatch in the wall on the left. The roach is on the floor in front of the hatch.
  • Cockroach 11 – As you jump into the wind after the previous roach, you have to be very quick and shoot down and to the right. The roach is on a barrel and if you’re not fast enough, you’ll get taken to the next area. If you miss it you can just hit Options and click Restart Mission to get taken back to the beginning of the area to try again.
  • Cockroach 12 – Right after the previous roach, when the wind takes you to another area, you have to be fast once again and start shooting down right away as the screen moves by itself. The roach will be on a platform. If you miss it you can just hit Options and be set in the short area prior to get another chance.
  • Cockroach 13 – Shortly after the previous roach, as your flying up the screen, on the right hand side you’ll eventually hit a ceiling. The roach is on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 14 – After the previous roach, you’ll be in an area with spinning monsters and you’ll have to hack 2 switches. When you hack the switches, the screen will continue to move on its own. Stay on the right side and you’ll pass a square like object. The roach is on the landing of the object on the floor to the left.
  • Cockroach 15 – Just after the previous roach, this one will be on the left hand side, as you reach another floor. Chances are you’ll get it when destroying the bomb enemies, as their explosion will kill it.
  • Cockroach 16 – Just above the previous roach, it’ll be on the landing of the square object on the left side of it.
  • Cockroach 17 – This roach is just to the left of the previous roach, on the bottom side of the square of the left side of the screen.
  • Cockroach 18 – Just after the previous cockroach, quickly move over to the right side of the screen, and there will be a red light and the roach just under the red light crawling on the little portion of ceiling.
  • Cockroach 19&20 – After the set of previous roaches, you’ll reach a big fight and go through obstacles. You will eventually see 2 turrets shooting into the sky and your character will say hes back in space. On the side of the turrets are the roaches, one on the left side and one on the right. Be very quick with these.
  • Cockroach 21 – During the side scrolling shooter homage, you’ll eventually re-enter the factory. Right as you do you’ll see 2 destructible crates. The roach is with the top one.
  • Cockroach 22 – Just after the last roach, you’ll enter a door and your character will talk about being back where he started. Quickly look up and you’ll see the roach on the wall under a white light.
  • Cockroach 23 – After the previous roach, you’ll come across a hatch and enemies will come out of it. Just under the hatch will be a destructible crate and the roach on the floor.
  • Cockroach 24&25 – After the previous roach, you’ll come to a big square room, where electric enemies will start coming in and you’ll have to avoid them. The 1st roach is on the ceiling to the top left and the 2nd roach is on the right side wall with all the bomb enemies, just under the white light.
  • Cockroach 26&27 – After the previous 2 roaches, you’ll finally regain gravity. On the right side of the screen will be a 3D Printer like object. On the right side of that is a roach, and just above it, on the left side, is the other roach, crawling on the wall.

Mission 7

  • Cockroach 1&2 – When you reach the train to be able to hack it, instead of hacking it, look on the wall to the right for the 1st 2 roaches.

Mission 8

  • Cockroach 1 – When the mission begins, you’ll be floating in space and your guns won’t work. Fly all the way to the bottom left of the screen and you’ll reach the drones that shoot lasers that have a shield. You should then see a hatch on the wall to your left. Above that is the roach, crawling on the ceiling, simply slam your ship into it to kill it.
  • Cockroach 2 – As soon as you enter the ship again, it just in front of you, and because you can’t use your guns, you have to run over top of it.
  • Cockroach 3&4 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll hack a turret and then activate a warp gate. In the room with the warp gate, jump up the crates on the left side and the 2 roaches are on the roof.
  • Cockroach 5 – Just after the previous roaches, you’ll find yourself on a conveyor belt. At the end of it, a door will close and your turret will get broken. On the wall with the door is the roach. Wait for it to come close to the ground so you can jump on it.
  • Cockroach 6 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll reach a big stack of destructible crates. The roach is crawling on the 1st one you can jump on.
  • Cockroach 7&8 – After making it through a sequence where you have to run on conveyor belts to avoid being crushed, you’ll fall down a hole and the 2 roaches will be on each side of your landing spot.
  • Cockroach 9 – When you get your guns back, you’ll be going through a tight corridor while running from enemies and breaking crates. At the end, it opens into a big room with a pit. The roach is on the left wall, so make sure to shoot it before jumping down.
  • Cockroach 10 – From the previous roach, you activate wind fans. When the second group of enemies attack you, take the next fan. On the landing platform, on the left side, you’ll see the roach on the wall in the wind of the fan.
  • Cockroach 11&12 – From the previous roach, take the next fan and the roaches will be on the left wall and the right walls when you land.
  • Cockroach 13 – From the previous roaches, you’ll be taken to a new area. After the big fight, you’ll have to jump up platforms and go through a little pipe to a tight corridor. As you exit the pipe, the roach is just above it.
  • Cockroach 14&15 – As you enter yet another new area, you’ll see both the roaches right above you on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 16&17 – After the 2 previous roaches, you’ll have to jump across 2 sets of falling platforms. After the second set, the roach will be on the floor in front of you, and on the ceiling of the platform just under you.
  • Cockroach 18 – Just after the previous roaches, there’ll be a big fight in an area where the floor slowly falls away. After you clear out the enemies, you’ll have to go up a wind stream. Just before stepping into it, the roach will be crawling on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 19 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll be going through a very tight shaft. At the end of it, you’ll be in an open area and the roach will be on the floor on the left side.
  • Cockroach 20 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll be in a room with a spinning enemy that shoots electricity. At the top of the room will be a platform with the roach crawling on the floor.
  • Cockroach 21 – After the previous Roach, you will come to a second room with an electric spinner. Just passed that room is a shaft marked with red lights that you can jump into. At the end of this shaft is the next roach.

Mission 9

  • Cockroach 1 – Right as the mission starts, it’ll be on a crate to your right.
  • Cockroach 2 – After the tetris scene fight, you’ll be in a tight shaft. When you go up the first air vent, the roach will be on the first landing you jump to, under the white light.
  • Cockroach 3 – After the previous roach, you’ll go up yet another air vent that has mine enemies in it, at the top you’ll come to a little opening and a white light will be on the ceiling. Next to the light on the right wall is the roach.
  • Cockroach 4,5,6 – After the previous roach, you’ll go up another air vent and appear in another area. You’ll then be on a boat from a previous area. One roach is on the bottom left portion of the boat, on the floor, the other roach is on the right side of the exit you came out of, on the floor, and the last one is to your left, so just shoot in the direction, going in an arcing motion to kill it. Once again, you can press Options  then   to see the roaches in the area so you know when you get it.
  • Cockroach 7 – After the gravity bubble fights, you’ll have to jump to more gravity bubbles. At the end you’ll come across a door on your right. Before jumping out of the last gravity bubble, kill the roach on the bottom of the platform that’s infront of the door.
  • Cockroach 8,9,10 – After the previous roach, you’ll immediately enter a new area. The roaches will be in the hallway on the floor.
  • Cockroach 11 – This one will be tough to get. After the previous roaches, you’ll be in an area where the lava starts rising. After jumping up 3 platforms, it’ll be on the wall to the right in the hallway you jump up into.
  • Cockroach 12 – Just after the last roach, you’ll keep jumping up the area. You’ll come across a second spawn of Blue ball enemies. There is a platform just under the spawn point, and on the bottom side of the platform is the roach.
  • Cockroach 13 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll come across 2 platforms that come out of the walls. After you jump off the second one, the roach is on the floor of the landing to the right.
  • Cockroach 14 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll have to jump to the left. The lava will start rising very slow and enemies will start coming at you very fast from the right. On the 3rd landing, at the end of it, is the roach on the floor. Be very fast with this one as well.
  • Cockroach 15 – Just after the last roach, you’ll go through a very short tight hall. As you exit it, the next roach is crawling on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 16 – Right after the previous roach, you’ll have to jump on platforms that appear from the walls. On the second platform, look up and the roach is on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 17 – Right after the last roach, after you get off the platforms that come out of the wall, you will see a very tiny pool of lava. Before jumping over it, the roach is on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 18 – After the last roach, you’ll jump up on edges where lava starts coming out of the wall. You’ll then jump into a Gravity Bubble. At the top on the left of the bubble is a platform, and on the underside of the platform, is the roach.
  • Cockroach 19 – After the last roach, more blue enemies will spawn from the right. Kill them and then jump over to the right hand side and you’ll see the groove where they came from and above that is a tight corridor with 3 destructible crates. Destroy the crates and jump into the corridor and the roach will be on the right wall, next to a hidden item.
  • Cockroach 20 – After the last roach, the lava will stop rising for some reason. As you continue up the platforms, you’ll see a stream of lava to your left, in the wall. After jumping off a platform in a wall, the roach will be crawling on the wall to your right on the landing.
  • Cockroach 21 – After the last roach, you’ll jump up platforms that come out of the wall. On the 3rd platform, the roach will be crawling on the wall on the right.
  • Cockroach 22 – Just above the last roach, on the 4th platform, the roach is crawling on the wall to your left.
  • Cockroach 23 – Above the previous roach on the 5th platform, the roach will be crawling on the wall to your right.
  • Cockroach 24 – As you enter the new area in space just after the previous roaches, the roach will be crawling on the floor, just to the right of the exit you came from.

Mission 10

  • Cockroach 1-4 – After you make it out of the Underwater swimming section, you’ll be in a large room where you have to jump up to the right to get out. In this room, 2 roaches are on the left side, crawling on 2 separate sections that you can easily shoot from the top of the water, one is on the right side of the room, just above the door and the 4th is crawling on the ceiling, that you can shoot at from the entrance of the door.
  • Cockroach 5 – Immediately after leaving the room with the previous roaches, you’ll be in a room with a water stream and a pool of water. The roach is crawling on the wall on the right side of the room.
  • Cockroach 6 – After you leave the room with the previous cockroach, you’ll be in a room with platforms and enemies attacking you. This roach is on the bottom of the middle platform on the left. Chances are you’ll kill this one without realizing it.
  • Cockroach 7,8,9 – At the top of the area as the previous roach, the first roach will be crawling on the ceiling on the left hand side and the second will be crawling on the ceiling between the 2 water spouts and the 3rd will be on the ceiling just above the switch.
  • Cockroach 10&11 – After the room with the previous roaches, you’l be in a new area. You’ll have to jump on platforms the recede back into the wall when you jump on them. At the top of the platforms, the 2 roaches can be found crawling on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 12 – Right after the previous roaches, go through the tight corridor, and when you exit, the roach is crawling on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 13 – Right after jumping on the first platform from the previous roach, the next one is on the ceiling above you as well.
  • Cockroach 14 – After the previous roach, you’ll be underwater in a small pool of water. When you jump on the pipe to your left, the roach is crawling on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 15 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll see a floating Gravity Bubble and a landing to the left that’s just under it. On the landing is the roach, crawling on the floor.
  • Cockroach 16 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll be in a round Gravity Bubble with a enemy that shoots lasers while you’re in it. To the left of that is a switch you have to jump to and hack.Crawling on the ceiling, right next to the switch is the roach. Just shoot at the switch and around it and you’ll end up killing the roach.
  • Cockroach 17 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll enter a moving Gravity Bubble. At the top, you’ll jump through a hole after taking out some enemies. On the landing above you on the ceiling, is the roach.
  • Cockroach 18 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll jump on 2 platforms that extend from the wall. On the 2nd platform, just above you, is the roach crawling on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 19 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll have to hack a switch. Just above the switch is a yellow light. Between the light and the drain of the water spout, is the roach, crawling on the ceiling of that small section.
  • Cockroach 20 – After you activate the switch that was under the previous roach, you’ll go through a Gravity Bubble and you’ll see another switch. On the wall where the switch is, is the roach, crawling up and down the wall.
  • Cockroach 21-24 – After you end up back in the warp room, you’ll have to swim through a dark section of water. When you exit that section, you’ll be in an area with 3 white lights on the ceiling and a door on the left. There are 2 roaches on the right side, one on the far right wall, and one of the right side of the platform you land on. On the left, there is a roach on the 2nd step of the little stairs, and above that, is a roach crawling on the wall, just to the left of the white light.

Mission 11

  • Cockroach 1 – In the first section of the level, to progress you have to shoot caps on water pipes to ride water spouts. After shooting the cap to make the 2nd water spout, jump on top of the pipe to your right, and the roach will be crawling on the wall on your right.
  • Cockroach 2 – After shooting the 3rd water cap, you’ll find yourself in a tight shaft. On the first landing is the roach, crawling on the floor under a white light.
  • Cockroach 3&4 – After the previous roach you’ll be in a big room where you have to ride more water spouts, and in this room are floating mine enemies. After you ride the 3rd spout, there will be a platform, with the 2 roaches crawling on the floor.
  • Cockroach 5 – After the previous 2 roaches, you have to shoot a cap just to your right for a spout. To the right of the spout on the wall is the roach, crawling around a spotlight.
  • Cockroach 6 – At the top of the current section, your character will say “That was fun”, just under the platform you land on, is the roach crawling on a tiny section of ceiling. You’ll probably get this one without realizing.
  • Cockroach 7 – On the landing at the top of the current section, your character will say “That was fun”, and to the left will be a small shaft with a red light in it. On the upper most part of the wall just before entering the shaft, is the roach.
  • Cockroach 8 – You’ll find yourself in an area that is on fire, and your character will talk about a bullet train crashing. Just to the left is a set of crates, and the roach is on the left side of the crates.
  • Cockroach 9&10 – After the previous roach, you will have to do a fight in an electric cage. To escape you have to hack a smashbot at the end. When you get out, you’ll continue to the left and face 2 big enemies with shields. After the second enemy, on the left side of the crate it was on, will be the 2 roaches on the floor around destructible crates. If you still have the smashbot at this time, it will likely kill the roaches for you.
  • Cockroach 11 – Just after the previous roach, you’ll come across a bridge that collapses. On the right hand side, just as the bridge collapses will be a small tight corridor you can jump into. Just as the bridge falls, you HAVE to jump to get into the corridor. If you miss it, let the trains below hit you to try again. In the corridor will be the roach and a hidden item.
  • Cockroach 12-17 – After a battle on a collapsing bridge, the talking drone will come and talk to you. After his dialogue you’ll have to enter a shaft. All the cockroaches are on the floor. They can’t be missed as you’ll end up shooting them or stepping on them.
  • Cockroach 18 – Right at the end of the Mission, when you get the last Hack Module, is the roach crawling on the floor under the hack.
  • Cockroach 19-21 – In the same area as you got the Hack Module, use a Kamikaze drone to go into the shaft on the left side of the screen. When you enter the shaft, stay near the entrance and wait for another one. Hack another Kamikaze drone and float to the top middle of the map, and there you will find a little platform with 3 roaches and the Monitor hidden item.

Mission 12

  • Cockroach 1 – In the section at the beginning of this mission, you’ll have to hack a Kamikaze drone and fly through a section of saw-blades. On the first safe space you land on in the section, there will be a red light on the ceiling along with the roach crawling on the ceiling as well.
  • Cockroach 2-20 – As soon as you leave the area from the last roach, you’ll be in a hallway FILLED with roaches on the floor. Simply walk all over them, or shoot them dead!
  • Cockroach 21-24 – After entering the next area, you’ll be in the first area of the game. There will be 4 roaches right away. There’s 2 on the right, crawling on the wall, 1 on the crate in the middle of the room, and 1 in the top left corner of the room, crawling on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 25&26 – Instead of floating up, leave the previous room by going left. When you reach your first drop, the 1st roach will be crawling on the ceiling above you and the other will be crawling on the wall on the other side of the drop.
  • Cockroach 27&28 – Keep going left down the hallway from the other roaches, and these 2 will be on the floor near the door to the facility.
  • Cockroach 29-33 – Go back to the big room with the first set of roaches. You then have to hack a kamikaze drone and float up into the talking drones headquarters. There are 3 on the right side of the 3D printer, 1 on the ceiling above it, and one on the wall to the left of that one
  • Cockroach 34 – At the end of the space section where you learn about the last boss, there will be a hatch coming out of the wall on the right. Just above that, is the roach crawling on a small section of ceiling.
  • Cockroach 35 – After you leave the space section, you’ll be in a tight area. On the right side you’ll see an enemy standing still. Drop into the alcove with the enemy and kill it and you’ll end up killing the roach as well.
  • Cockroach 36 – Go left from the previous roach and you’ll see another enemy who spits fire at you. Behind it is the roach.
  • Cockroach 37 – From the previous roach, continue to the right. You’ll then see a red light just before you have to jump up to a landing. Shoot at the light and kill the roach crawling around it.
  • Cockroach 38-41 – As you continue going right through the level, you’ll see 4 cockroaches in a small space. Drop into it from above and walk onto them.
  • Cockroach 42&43 – From the previous bunch, jump up onto landing where these 2 roaches are crawling around.
  • Cockroach 44&45 – From the previous bunch, you can see the next 2 on the right side, with an enemy in the alcove. Jump into the alcove, and kill the enemy and 2 roaches.
  • Cockroach 46-50 – From the previous 2, when you drop down, you will see them in an alcove on the left. Go into it and kill them.
  • Cockroach 51-56 – From the previous set, continue right and drop down, then drop down to the left. You will see 2 roaches on your right, then if you drop down again and follow the tight corridor, you’ll find 4 more roaches near some lava.
  • Cockroach 57-59 – Continuing from the previous roaches, when you jump back up to continue the level, you’ll see 3 roaches crawling in an alcove above you.
  • Cockroach 60&61 – Just to the right of the previous 3, you can see a mine drone in a tiny spot with a red light and 2 roaches. Drop down into the corridor and kill them.
  • Cockroach 62&63 – When you reach the end of the series of tight corridors, a little door will open and you’ll be in an open space. Just above you as you exit the door, are the next 2 roaches.
  • Cockroach 64&65 – After the previous roaches, you’ll trigger a switch and the drone will come back. There’ll be some dialogue as you fall from platforms. When you land, you will be in a tiny room with 2 red lights in each top corner. Shoot at each of the lights and you’ll kill the roaches.
  • Cockroach 66-71 – When you arrive in the room with the final boss, you’ll have to activate 4 switches. On the left wall, just under the top switch is 1 roach. There are then 3 on the ceiling, and 1 on the right wall where the ceiling meets the wall, or right next to the top right beam if you going from left to right.

Epilogue

  • Cockroach 1 – The epilogue starts and you have to run from lava. Run to the left and as you reach the first drop, double jump over it and to the left to a landing where there will be a bunch of dead drones and the roach.
  • Cockroach 2 – After you go down the drop, you’ll land in a Gravity Bubble and have to enter a tight corridor. As you exit, look up and the roach is crawling on the wall.
  • Cockroach 3 – Right after the last roach, you’ll jump into a Gravity Bubble and hack a switch. When you jump out of the bubble, look up and the roach is crawling on the wall.
  • Cockroach 4 – After the previous roach you’ll be running from lava in a tight corridor. When you leave you’ll land in a Gravity Bubble. Above the bubble, on the ceiling is the roach
  • Cockroach 5&6 – After the previous roach, you’ll fall down into Gravity Bubbles and then you’ll come across a door. When you enter the door, look up and one roach is crawling on the wall, and the other is crawling on the ceiling.
  • Cockroach 7 – Right after the other roaches, you’ll have to jump over a lava pool, and then you’ll see 2 dead Kamikaze drones. Right next to the second one, is the roach crawling on the wall.
  • Cockroach 8 – After the sequence of riding on a raft through lava, you’ll come across a big door with a fuel pump symbol. Just before you go into the door, the roach is on the ceiling above you.
  • Cockroach 9 – In the next area, you’ll come across the first teleporter you activated. Just to the left of that, on the wall is the roach.
  • Cockroach 10 – From the previous roach, you’ll fall down a shaft and find yourself back in the warp room where the upgrade station is. When you get to the bottom, a crate will crash into the ground on your left. Simply use shoot your missiles at the ground to get extra air, then double jump over the crate, and there will be another little crate, and the roach will be on the left side of this crate.

We Never Actually Tested ThisGold
Complete the entire campaign in Single-Credit Mode.

For this trophy, you have to finish the entire game in Single Credit Mode. The trophy will pop during the end dialogue in space after you exit the space station. During Single Credit Mode, the game is automatically set to hard and you only get 1 Life. You can save and quit and come back later, but the location you are standing in, is the exact spot you’ll be in when you load the game back up. Luckily you can back up your save every once in a while, so this trophy will just take some patience and some trial and error.

The following tips should make the game a little easier for you:

  • Your first upgrade should be the Shotgun Upgrade. This will help you if you get cornered and there are many enemies in front of you. The shotgun blast will clear them all out fast and effectively
  • Prioritize the health upgrades so you have more health as early as you can.
  • The 4th upgrade you should get is the Tesla Attack. This will stun enemies around you if you get into a really bad situation that the shotgun special attack can’t get you out of.
  • Back up your save often. If you finish a big fight and you end up having no health, you can either re-download your save again, or if you die, you won’t have to restart the whole game again. You can also back up your save in case you reach a platforming section that you aren’t comfortable with.
  • In most fights, there are usually corners that you can back yourself up into. This may sound like a terrible idea, but in reality, most of the time it’s the best idea. The reason why is so you don’t get attacked on both sides, and then you can just shoot above you and to the side of you and take out the enemies before they reach you most of the time.
  • Don’t farm loot. If you’re in a fight with an enemy that spawns an infinite amount of enemies until it is destroyed, focus on it! You won’t need much loot and if you let fights go on to long, you could end up messing up and losing some progress. So ALWAYS focus on enemy spawners if they’re in a fight.
Minesweeper
Destroy all floating mines in Mission 6.

All of chapter 6 consists of a automatic scrolling section. It start vertically then turn horizontal. The most common enemy when the screen is moving is the purple mine enemies. You have to destroy them all to get this trophy. The vertical section can be fairly tough considering there is a lot of them. When the vertical section starts, stay on the left side of the screen and shoot up, as some mines are just on the border of the screen. When the game starts scrolling horizontally, it gets easier. After the first few set of enemies, the screen will start to move downward. Position yourself in the bottom left corner of the screen and continue firing. If you destroyed all the mines, you will get the trophy shortly after you’re over top the Facility again.

Fried Squid
Get 3 squid enemies to electrocute themselves on the train track during the Mission 4 gravity bubble fight.

During Mission 4, you’ll come to a part where you’ll be on trains. After many of them, you’ll find yourself at a Gravity Bubble and then a fight will commence. During this fight you’ll be attack by squid enemies that shoot 3 missiles at you. To get this trophy the enemies have to DIE by touching the train tracks underneath you. To get them to do that, slowly shoot at them until they start glowing and beating red. What you’ll want to do then is go to the bottom of the bubble, then move to the top to get above the Squids so they will shoot themselves into the tracks underneath you. There are at least 4 squids during this fight, but it will take a lot of practice to get it. The following video will show you how to obtain the trophy.

Smashed and Silvered
Destroy 2 Smashbots in the same fight using a shredder.

For this trophy you have to get 2 Smashbots to be destroyed by running into grinders in the same fight. The smashbots are the enemies that target you with a red light before they charge at you. Any fight that has 2 Smashbots and grinders they can run into will do.  This can be done in Mission 11. There will be a fight where there are 2 air waves you can float in, with a grinder at the top of each. During the second part of the fight, 3 will spawn. Destroy 1 with your guns and then get the other 2 to crash into the blades until they blow up. It will probably take some practice to get the trophy, but it is doable.

Master of the Universe
Defeat the RIVE endboss.

At the end of Mission 12, you’ll be tasked with facing Rive. He has 2 phases before he finally goes down. After you deplete his health bar of the 2nd phase the trophy will unlock.

The phases are as follows:

  • Phase 1: The battle starts and RIVE has 2 Red nozzle looking things on the side of it. Destroy them and then he will go into the lava and the lava level will go down. He will then come back up with 4 more destructible parts. Simply destroy these again and then he will shift into Phase 2.
  • Phase 2: This is much tougher than Phase 1. On each side of the arena, there will be 1 turret and 1 train. RIVE will rise up out of the lava and try to ram into you. As he rises up, quickly hack a train, then jump down and hack the turret and unload on RIVE while he’s stunned. Shooting him with your gun, the turret and your special weapon attack will lower his health more than he can regenerate. After getting a quick barrage in on him, you’ll then have to jump to the other side of the arena, as a small lava flow will start of the side you just attacked from. He will then descend back into the lava to recover health and then rise up and try and attack you again. Simply rinse and repeat the attack pattern until he eventually falls.
01110100 01101000 01100101 00000001
Hack 50 enemies.

After you kill the Starwhale in Mission 3, you unlock the ability to hack enemies to turn them into allies. Simply hack 50 enemies and the trophy will unlock.

Heartless
Destroy 10 depleted nurse drones and harvest their loot.

During Mission 2 you get the ability to hack Nurse Drones that follow you around to heal you. When they run out of energy, they will fall to the ground and then you must shoot them and take the loot that they drop. You do not need to take the health pack they drop when destroyed. A good place to farm this is during Mission 4 when you find the infinite amount of Nurse Drones cycling through a pair of hatches, just hack one, jump into the shield of the others until the one you have depletes, destroy it, and rinse and repeat.

Turncoat
Get a hacked Smashbot to destroy two other Smashbots.

You will unlock the ability to hack Smashbots after you defeat the Mega Smashbot in Mission 8. The first chance you get to do this in in Mission 9 during the tetris scene. You will be attacked by Smashbots, so when you get a chance, hack one and let it kill the enemies. After it destroys 2 other Smashbots, you will unlock the trophy.

Spray and Prey
Fire non-stop for 2 minutes.

This trophy is very simple. You can either sit still for 2 minutes while you fire constantly for 2 minutes, or you can hold the fire button for 2 minutes while you go through the level. After 2 minutes of non-stop firing, the trophy will unlock.

Pay Attention, Houdini!upscale-245262160018212
Congratulations, you managed to escape the ship!
At the end of the epilogue when you’re shot out into space for the end sequence cutscene, this trophy will unlock.

Hide and Reap
Destroy 25 enemies with a hacked turret, while hiding underwater.

During Mission 5 and 10, there will be some underwater sections that have a hackable drone you can make your ally. When you’re underwater your gun doesn’t work, but if you aim and shoot, the turret still fires. Simply use a hacked drone to kill the enemies when you stay underwater. In Mission 10 there is a good grinding spot where you enter a small body of water and theres a hackable drone with 10-15 enemies to kill. Simply kill all the enemies, and continue on just a bit further to die while in a gravity bubble and you’ll be back in the water with the drone.

Got Your Back
Destroy a Wily Walker without destroying its shield.

This trophy can be obtained just after the Mega Smashbot fight in Mission 8. Right after the fight you’ll come across some walkers that shoot fire at you. Simply destroy one while it is walking backwards away from you or by using the hacked smashbot and the trophy should pop. If you mess up, just exit to the main menu, and re-load the game and you’ll have another chance.

Access Denied!upscale-245262160018212
Destroy the Wily Walker that follows you back into the starship in Mission 6.

During Mission 6, you’ll come to a part where you’re in a side scrolling shoot ’em up portion. Eventually you will leave space and be back at the facility. There will be an enemy on the ground that will be following you and shooting missiles at you leading up to the point where you reach the facility. Simply kill the enemy before the screen moves past it, as the screen moves on its own at this section.

Breaking and Entering
Infiltrate Galaxian Service Vessel #6.

As you start the game, you will be tasked to shoot through an asteroid belt in a short opening sequence, once that is done you will enter a building and have some dialogue with a flying Drone, which will then open up the way to go. Go through the newly opened door and the trophy will unlock.

L-IFE!
Find the secret L-IFE room.

This one is very hard to describe. During the vertical scroll section of mission 6, you have to touch 3 butterflies and then enter a room that opens up on the right side of the screen. I’ve taken the liberty of making a video instead of describing it with words. Follow the video down below to find the butterflies and the room.

Lock and Load
Fully upgrade your spider tank using the upgrade station.

To upgrade your tank, you must collect loot, that’s dropped from all enemies and some boxes. There are 8 upgrades you must buy for this trophy, and you’ll visit the upgrade station after each level so you can get your chance to level up your tank.
The upgrades and prices are listed below:

  • Falcon Attack  – 999 Loot
  • Blunder Attack  – 999 Loot
  • Kessler Attack – 999 Loot
  • Tesla Attack – 999 Loot
  • Armor Upgrade – 1,024 Loot
  • Armor Upgrade+ – 1,337 Loot
  • Magnet Upgrade – 1,024 Loot
  • Magnet Upgrade+ – 1,337 Loot

Total Loot Required = 8,718 Loot

Sleeping With the Fishes
Die while underwater.

In mission 5, you’ll reach a point where you get to go underwater. There are then spinning obstacles you have to avoid. For this trophy though, just keep running into them instead. When you die, you will get the trophy.

CHOO CHOO!
Destroy 8 enemies with a single train.

For this trophy, you have to kill 12 enemies AT ONCE with the same train. You have to have the Tesla Attack Upgrade for this. This will take a lot of luck and practice. At the beginning of Mission 7, you will be in a subway station. What you’ll want to do is go to the center platform while the 1st set of wasp enemies attack you, and obtain a Special Attack crate from them. You’ll then want to quickly jump up onto the top left platform and shoot the Tesla attack at the ground at your feet. If done right, the yellow wasp drones that fly around the area will drop onto the track and the kamikaze drones that spawn just above you will get stunned. Then train will then come from the right side, so make sure to jump on it. If you’re lucky, there will be 12 enemies that are hit by the train. If not, die by a train, and try again.

Defeat the RIVE end boss in Single-Credit Mode.

For this trophy, you have to kill RIVE at the end of Mission 12 in Single Credit Mode. When you kill him, you will unlock the trophy. For tips on RIVE himself, refer to Bronze Master of The Universe, and for tips on Single Credit Mode, refer to  We Never Actually Tested This.

We Come in Peaceupscale-245262160018212
Reach the warp room in Mission 1 without shooting anything.

For this trophy, you have to make it to the warp room in Mission 1 without shooting your gun. Before attempting this, go to settings and switch your control type to Control Type B. The reason for this is to move the shoot button to , so don’t press . In the space section, simply dodge the rocks and missiles, and when you reach the door with 3 turrets, you can just fly above them then behind them. The real fun begins when you enter the facility. You have to quickly run through the enemies without dying. You can run around the first Kamikaze drone spawn, but the second, make sure you double jump into it. This may sound ridiculous, but that’s how you will survive. Quickly run through the turret bullets, jump up to the right alcove, and dodge the Kamikaze drones that are still chasing you. Now quickly jump onto the crate, hit  and aim at the switch with Right Stick to hack it. If you were fast enough (or lucky enough), you’ll still be alive. Now quickly drop into the hole and you’re essentially home free. Now go through the little area until you fall down the pit, into the warp room. When you land on the floor next to the upgrade station, the trophy will unlock.

Doggy Style
Get rid of all laser turrets after being ejected into space in Mission 9.

At the end of Mission 9, you’ll be ejected out into space after you finish the lava running scene. There will be a long line of Laser Turrets blocking your path. A smashbot will spawn after the dialogue, so you have to hack it to destroy the turrets. Be VERY careful that you don’t go past the turrets at all, or the scene will end. Simply start at one side and go one after the other to the other side until you destroy all the turrets, and hack a new smashbot when needed. When all the turrets are destroyed, the trophy will pop.

Squeeky Clean
Spend 60 seconds under a waterfall.

During Mission 5 you’ll find an area that’s filled with water. At one point you will be in a section with 3 turrets and a bunch of bats. Dispatch the enemies and then jump onto the platforms and walk into the wall and then just stand still for 60 seconds until the trophy unlocks.

Greenpeace
Complete Mission 2 without destroying the Skywhale.

At the end of Mission 2, you’ll find the Skywhale body, that you can destroy, but for this trophy you cant. To get over it without destroying it, make sure you have the missiles bought, then shoot the ground next the skywhale to be able to get the extra air you need, and then double jump over top the Skywhale body to the end of Mission 2. When you complete the mission, the trophy will pop up.

Don’t Shoot The Messengerupscale-245262160018212
Finish a campaign without destroying DLL yourself.

MISSABLE

For this trophy you cant destroy DLL by shooting at him. DLL is the little talking drone that will appear every once in a while and start talking to you. As the trophy states, whatever you do, don’t destroy him! He will sometimes get destroyed by the environment, but that won’t count against you.

Old McDonald
Ye olde farmer detected!

During Mission 2, you’ll eventually fall onto a conveyor belt that is moving very fast to the left, into a bunch of blades. An infinite amount of destructibles will come from the right of the conveyor belt. Just keep destroying the items and this will eventually pop.

Pest Control
Destroy all baby taxis in the warp room when it’s flooded.

During Mission 10, you’ll find yourself back in the warp room, that is now underwater. There will then be yellow wasp enemies flying around or gliding on the surface of the water. You have to destroy them all. If one falls into the water while flashing red, it doesn’t count. There can be nothing of the enemies remaining to get this trophy. If you mess up at all, you can exit to the main menu and try again. It counts as being destroyed if you run into them and explode. So if you have both Health upgrades you should be able to run into them all and still have health left.

Return to the warp room after completing Mission 10, without destroying any enemies.

After Mission 10, you’ll be in a room that you have to get through without shooting any enemies or destroying any at all. If one enemy gets destroyed by touching you or by getting too close, just quit to the main menu and reload the game to try again. When you get to the end of the room without any enemies getting destroyed, the trophy will unlock. The following video will show you my strategy on how to get the trophy.

Follow the Leaderupscale-245262160018212
Get a nurse drone all the way to the top in Mission 3.

For this trophy, you have to make it through the 1st area with a Nurse Drone. You must kill the Super Skywhale, and the 2 Gravity Bubble fights. This can be done from Mission Select. The Skywhale is very easy. Refer to Bronze Captain Ahab for more details on it. The first gravity bubble fight is very simple. Kamikaze drones spawn from beneath you, so just keep shooting downwards until the gate to your right opens and then you can destroy the 3 drones. Next is the tight corridor. Before you go under the lava hatch to start the lava flow, make sure the drone is right next to you, as the lava can destroy it. After you make it through and flip the switch while in the gravity bubble, you’ll have to enter a very short, tight corridor. Slowly inch through this with the drone right next to you as there will be 3 doors that close that can destroy the drone. The next gravity bubble fight can be simple. There will be 4 Kamikaze drones that attack you in waves. The pattern is essentially a revolution, as 4 spawn from above you, then from below, then above. This fight is very easy with the shotgun special weapon, mostly because if they enter the bubble, one shot should destroy them all and they will most likely drop another special weapon crate. Eventually 3 turrets will spawn on the electricity beams above you, and then below you. After the fight, just jump up the platforms above you and at the top the trophy will unlock, so long as you still have the drone with you.

Burst through the hull in Mission 7 with full health.

During the second section of Mission 7, you’ll be tasked with hacking a train and then riding that train while you are attacked by waves and waves of enemies. At the end of the second screen, you will start being chased by fire and then the train will smash into the hull of the ship and shoot you into space. The best way for this trophy is try to end the first screen with full health, as the 2nd screen gives you 2 health packs. So long as you keep 1 of those packs for the end when the fire is chasing you, you should be able to end with full health. At the end when fire is getting spit at you and enemies are coming to attack you. The best defense was the shotgun special weapon. This will take some trial and error, and if you get hit, you can just jump off the train and try again.

Single Purchaseupscale-245262160018212
Complete a campaign with only 1 purchase.

MISSABLE

For this trophy, you have to make it through the entire game with only buying a single upgrade. The only upgrade you HAVE to buy, is during Mission 1, when you first reach the warp room and upgrade station, you get to choose between missiles or a shotgun special weapon. When you complete the game, the trophy will unlock. It’s highly recommended that you pick the Missile special attack, as it homes in on your enemies so you don’t have to be as close. This should be paired with  Motherloot, seen that you’re not buying anything, you should easily be able to reach 10K loot.

MotherlootGold
Complete a campaign with 10,000 loot left.

MISSABLE

For this trophy, you must finish the game with over 10K+ loot. You get about 1K loot every level roughly, but this should be paired with Silver Single Purchase, as that trophy requires you to only buy 1 Upgrade, so you can easily have more than 10K by the time you end the game.

Willy
Play the Dutch anthem in the main menu.

For this trophy, it is very obscure to get. What you want to do go to the option menu, then go to sound levels. Then go down to the voice option and starting pressing  to change the voice levels, while tapping . If done correctly, the voice option should switch to the “Singing” option. You’ll then want to do the following button presses on the D-Pad because it’s easier:

( R, R, R   L, R, L, R   R, L, L, L   R, L )

The main character will then start singing the Dutch Anthem and the trophy will unlock.
