Introduction:

Welcome to the Ravensword: Shadowlands Trophy Guide!
This game is developed by Crescent Moon Games and published on consoles by Ratalaika Games.

Roadmap:

Before starting the game, head into the “Option” section and decrease the difficulty to the minimum.
Also, if you want to complete the game in a single step, please refer to the trophy walkthrough in the specific section below.

Step 1: Complete the Main Quest
During this step, focus on completing the Main Quest of the game which is the longest part of this game.
This quest is composed of 23 parts in total which will take you around the whole map of the game. Each area has its own enemies and some of them are related to trophies so be sure to always kill them all for increasing your skills and level.
Once you have completed the Main Quest, you will have a complete free-roam section where you can clean up the remaining trophies.

At the end of this step, you will for sure get this trophy:
Kill Ul ‘Thok

Step 2: Side Quests and Miscellaneous trophies
You can use this step to clean up what you have missed during your first journey.
After completing the main quest, you are free to wander around the whole map of the game to complete side quests and continue your adventure.

At the end of this step, you will for sure get this trophy:
Boar Hunter
Goblin Master
Orc Master
Troll Slayer
Demon Slayer
Yeti Brutalizer
Carnosaur King
Jail Time
Missing Shipment
Trouble in Aven
Assist Rebecca
Platinum Ravensword

Tips and Strategies:

  • Save the game frequently as you can get easily killed and the game can also crash while loading for a new area;
  • ALWAYS bring with you some food supplies as you will automatically eat during your journey and if you run out, you will get hungry or worse starving. These stats will give respectively a 50% and a 90% debuff on health and stamina regeneration;
  • The RPG component can make the difference in the difficulty so be careful to spend all the attribute and talent points on what suits your game style at the most;
  • Remember that the combat system of this game is awful so if you want to get rid of this issue, it’s better to focus on ranged weapons and spend all the ability and talent points on the ranged related skills;
  • Stealth attacks add 100% bonus damage to your attacks and there is the “Silent Hunter” talent that gives you another 100% bonus damage at max rank which is very useful if you use bows or crossbows.
  • ALWAYS pillage bodies and break crates or barrels to earn as much money as you can. Everything in this game is expensive so you will need tons of coins to buy things. A good guide that shows easy methods to farm gold can be found here (Thanks to Dijon Sennep);
    To speed up your wandering across the big lands, you can get a horse early in the game: Head to North Aven and leave the city from the northern gate. Now keep heading NW until you see a farm. Trade with Hans to get a horse or a steed whistle for 1500/2500 coins. Also, you can level up the “Riding” talent which increases the speed movement while riding a mount.
    However, if you want to save money, you can level up the “Quickness” talent to run faster and you will get a mount during the main quest;
  • It’s recommended to press to show a little map while wandering around to check new locations;
  • A map can also be consulted under the “Map” section of the in-game menu and you can fast-travel by clicking on the names of the bigger areas.

Main Quest & Trophy Walkthrough

In this section of the guide, you can find the World Map that might help you to find some places easier (Click on it to zoom).
Furthermore, you can find a detailed walkthrough that follows the Main Quest route and will highlight the opportunities where you can get a specific trophy once you reach a new area of the game.

Part 1: Speak with Lanya
Speak with Lanya and create your character.

Part 2: Speak with Perdis
Leave the room and head right to find Perdis. Speak with him.

Part 3: Speak with Perdis about Heronmar
Speak again with Perdis and ask about Heronmar.

Before leaving South Aven, head to the Strongarm Tavern and steal something. Leave, walk around the city looking for a guard that will take you to jail ( Jail Time). Pay the guard or wait a bit to exit from the jail and REMEMBER to retrieve your equipment from the chest on the left of the exit.

Part 4: Speak with Lamil in the Eastern Forest.
Leave the city from the Eastern Gate.
Once in the Eastern Forest, kill 3 Boars for the   Boar Hunter trophy.
Also, look for a campfire to speak with Jonn to get the side quest “Missing Shipment” needed for the Missing Shipment trophy.

MISSING SHIPMENT SIDE QUEST

While you are in the Eastern Forest, look for the Goblin Ruins (South part of the forest) to retrieve the 3 iron ingots. Kill all the goblins and pillage all their bodies to pick up gold and shield that you will sell.
Search for 2 chests, loot everything then fast travel to South Aven.
Go inside Dunner’s Smithy and speak with Dunner to complete the quest and receive 250 gold (don’t forget to sell what you have previously picked too for extra gold).

Time to get back on the main road: fast travel again to the Eastern Forest and proceed to speak with Lamil in his cabin.

Part 5: Collect 1 Vial of Enchanted Water
Lamil will ask you to collect a Vial of Enchanted Water from the pond at the end of the Troll Caves.
Leave the cabin and look for the Troll Caves (NE of Eastern Forest).
Once inside kill 5 trolls for the Troll Slayer trophy.
Collect the Vial of Enchanted Water from the pond at the end of the caves.

Part 6: Return to Lamil with the enchanted water
Leave the caves and fast travel to Lamil’s Cabin to give him the Vial of Enchanted Water and free him from the bottle.

Part 7: Speak with Lamil
Speak with Lamil to receive the Letter from Lamil.

Part 8: Enter the Tower of the Archmage
Before progressing further, fast travel to South Aven and go inside the Guild Hall to speak with Perdis and receive the “Trouble in Aven” side quest ( Trouble in Aven). Go to the upper level and speak with Lanya as well then leave.
Once outside, search for Rebecca (she stands close to the Bows and More shop) who will give you the “Assist Rebecca” side quest ( Assist Rebecca).

ASSIST REBECCA SIDE QUEST

Once you speak with Rebecca, follow her to her house. Inside, there will be an ambush. Defeat the 2 thugs (or leave if you prefer) and speak again with Rebecca.
Choose to understand her to receive the Rings of Thorns and complete the quest.

TROUBLE IN AVEN SIDE QUEST

After speaking with Perdis and Lanya in the Guild Hall in South Aven, head into the Strongarm Tavern to speak with Silas who won’t give you information about the White Hand clan.
You can either pay him 500 golds or go into his house to search for evidence to force him to speak (if you go to his house you will need a lockpick you can buy from the General Goods shop).
Once you have the info you need, leave the tavern and head to the Abandoned House up to the road.
Enter it and interact with the freed wall in front of you to discover the Thieves’ Hideout.
Here, proceed along the tunnel while killing at least 8 thieves and their leader.
After you are done, return to the Guild Hall and speak with Lanya to complete the quest.

Time to go back to the main quest… Head north to reach North Aven and reach the Tower of the Archmage to show Lamil’s letter to the guards outside the door.

Part 9: Speak with the Archmage
Enter the tower and speak with the Archmage to receive further instructions and the rune of fire.

Part 10: Retrieve the Ravenstone from the Lair of the Ice Giants
Leave the tower and head north to the North Meadows. Here you can find a farm where you can buy a mount for respectively 1500 or 2500 golds if you want, but your main goal is to reach the furthest north to discover the White Iron Peaks.
Cross the Peaks and keep heading north until you find the White Iron Mine. Here, take a little detour right and climb over the mines to reach an ice barrier. Equip the rune of fire and use it to melt the Ice (hold ). Then, keep heading north until you reach Gulch’s Lair.
It’s time to enter the dungeon and make your way through the giants to defeat Gulch and retrieve the first Ravenstone.

Part 11: Return to the Archmage
Leave Gulch’s Lair and fast travel to North Aven to speak again with the Archmage.

Part 12: Locate Cribbons along the southern coast
Leave the tower, fast travel to South Aven, and leave the city from the South Gate.
Here you will need to reach the southest part of that area but while traveling, make sure to kill 3 yetis for the  Yeti Brutalizer trophy (if you can’t find 3 yetis, keep fast traveling to The Terraces to reload the map).
Take the road on the left of the Cabin that goes up and reach Tanglewood Marsh, then head west to reach The Crags while making sure to kill at least 2 carnosaurs needed for the   Carnosaur King trophy.
Once inside, immediately head right to reach a campfire and speak with Cribbons.

Part 13: Collect 5 Pterosaur Eggs
Cribbons will give you the Pterosaur Horn and ask you to collect 5 Pterosaur eggs from their nest.
Use the horn to summon a flying mount and fly around the map to collect the eggs from the nests.

Part 14: Speak with Cribbons
Once you have collected the 5 eggs, return them to Cribbons to receive the Rune of the Winds.

Part 15: Retrieve the Ravenstone from the Citadel of Ror-Dan
Leave The Crags and head to the tower you see in the background in front of you to reach the Citadel of Ror-Dan.
Enter the citadel and complete the Dungeon with the aid of the Rune of the Winds to retrieve the second Ravenstone.

Part 16: Speak with the Archmage
Leave the Citadel of Ror-Dan and fast travel again to North Aven to speak with the Archmage.

Part 17: Find a way into the tunnels beneath Heronmar
Leave the Tower of the Archmage and Bill will approach you asking you to find Marissa. The “Find Marissa” side quest will appear but you will automatically complete it while proceeding through the main quest.
Fast travel to the White Iron Peaks and proceed North to reach the Grim Pass.
Once inside, make sure to kill 5 Orc Guards for the Orc Master trophy.
Leave, fast travel to the Grim Pass again, and reach the Avenshire Hills. Here, climb the SW hills to reach the Ancient Realm and kill 5 Ghouls for the Demon Slayer trophy.
Once you are done, travel again to the White Iron Peaks and reach the Grim Pass. This time head to the Wastelands.
Explore the lands to find the nomad camp (use the map to find it easily) and speak with Marissa outside the tents to reach Heronmar Tunnels.

Part 18: Enter the Heronmar Tunnels and retrieve the Ravenstone
Marissa will take you to the entrance of the tunnels. Make your way through them and defeat the Dark elves.
The map is broken here so you just have to follow the only path available. While exploring, just make sure to open the chest in the cave above the first ladder you have to climb to find a good armor set.
Once you reach the top, defeat Prince Solerinn and decide what to do with his life. Both ways you will retrieve the final Ravenstone.

Part 19: Speak with the Archmage
Once again, leave the tunnels and fast travel to North Aven to speak with the Archmage.

Part 20: Find the Ravensword in Aven
Finally, it’s time to retrieve the Ravensword! Leave the tower and fast travel to South Aven. Here, walk on the statue in front of you to find a hidden crypt that contains the Ravensword. Pick it up and leave.

Part 21: Speak with the Archmage
For the last time, head to North Aven and speak with the Archmage inside his tower.

Part 22: Enter the Shadowlands and slay Ul Thok
Time to complete the main quest! Defeat Kavanaugh and enter the portal.
Kill the Kobolds, pick up the Ring of Jumping from the chest and reach the top of the area by doing some parkour (the ring is optional but can ease the ascent if you haven’t leveled up the acrobatics talent enough).
Equip the Ravensword and be ready to face up a Shadow Troll. One more step and it’s time to slay Ul ‘Thok.

Part 23: End
Once you are back inside the tower of the Archmage, leave it to trigger the ending and complete the main quest.

You can either pay him 500 golds or go into his house to search for evidence to force him to speak (if you go to his house you will need a lockpick you can buy from the General Goods shop).
