Welcome to the Predator: Hunting Grounds Trophy Guide! Claim your way to victory, and claim your way to the platinum trophy. Now that’s what you’d call a long claim.
Step 1: Complete the Tutorial
The tutorial is available from the very beginning of the game. You should complete it before doing anything else to learn some of the game mechanics, especially if you have never played or seen any of the gameplay before. It is a quick tutorial in which you will only be playing as predator. It will end as soon as you learn how to claim enemies.
After completing this stage of the guide, you are really able to tackle the game how you please. It is split up into Fireteam trophies, Predator trophies, and then the final stage which consists of the trophies that are grindy as well as trophies in which it does not matter which class you play as.
You’ll be earning these trophies:
Learning the Ropes
Step 2: Fireteam Trophies
Here you will see all of the trophies you must be a Fireteam member to unlock. All of the Fireteam trophies except for Mercenary can be done in a private match with friends, or even by yourself. It is recommended that you get the Mercenary trophy first before grinding any of the Fireteam trophies in private matches. This is because you are forced to play 100 quickplay matches, and there is a good chance you will unlock a few of them before that task is completed.
This will save you some time so that you aren’t boosting all of the Fireteam trophies to the point where now all you need to do is play 100 more complete matches in quickplay. If you still need any of the trophies after playing 100 quickplay matches, you can easily clean them up in private matches with friends. You can even start a private match by yourself and finish up any exfils that you might not have. You will need a total of 100 of these to get the Mission Accomplished trophy.
It is also important that you are killing as many A.I. enemies with headshots as you can. You will need a total of 1,000 headshots in order to unlock the Headhunter trophy. 1,000 A.I. headshots will take some time, but if you are doing it while going for all of the other trophies then the grind will be very minuscule end game if any at all. Please view any of the other Fireteam specific trophies for more information on how to earn them.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
We can kill it…
If it Bleeds…
Guarded to Perfection
GET TO THE CHOPPA
That was close…
Last Man Standing
One Ugly Mother…
Step 3: Predator Trophies
Here you will see all of the trophies earned with predator except the ones for claiming Fireteam members. Those will be listed in the final grind step below. All of these trophies can be earned in private or quickplay matches, or even a combination of the two modes. Unlike the Fireteam trophies, you are able to play the 50 matches required for the Experienced Hunter in private matches.
While playing your matches as predator, be sure to kill A.I. enemies as you play. You will need to kill a total of 500 A.I. enemies in order to unlock the Practice Makes Perfect trophy. You can easily obtain this trophy if you are normally killing AI enemies when going for your 1,000 claims. You will need to level up to gain access to the net gun, bear traps, smart disk, and combistick as well. You will earn more than enough XP just by playing normally.
You should also be traveling through trees as much as possible. You will need to travel a total of 100 kilometers through the trees in order to get the Predkour Master trophy. As long as you are going for these trophies while going for your claims, you will unlock them along the way. Any other trophies you don’t earn can easily be done in a private match with friends.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Leave No Trace
Salt in the Wound
Practice Makes Perfect
Against All Odds
Two Birds, One Stone
So Close, Yet so far…
Step 4: Grinding the Claims + Platinum Trophy
Here you will see the grinding trophies that will take the majority of your time. You will also see all of the trophies here that you can earn as either a Fireteam member or as predator. When going for all of the other trophies in the game (including claims) be sure you are killing boars and exploding barrels. Doing so will net you these trophies without even noticing, and you have more than enough time to do them.
It does also not matter whether you pick up the OWLF tape as a Fireteam member or the predator, you will unlock the trophy either way. By the time you have everything else finished, you would have already hit player level 100 as well which will unlock the three trophies that are tied to leveling up. All of these trophies can be done in a private match, public match, or a combination of the two modes.
Be sure to finish the game so that all of your progress is saved. If you back out in the middle of a match, any progress made that match will not be counted. (This goes for all the trophies in the game) If following the guide, then the last trophy you will need to farm is Ancient for getting 1,000 claims of any kind. Just be sure that when you are doing this, you make 100 of them long claims so you can also get the Trophy Taker trophy along the way.
This is the final stage of the roadmap, which means you will also be earning your platinum trophy here! Congratulations on adding a new platinum trophy to your collection.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
30-50 Feral Hogs
Hunting Grounds Master
Tips and Strategies:
Below are some useful tips to keep in mind while playing through the game:
- Every trophy in the game can be earned in a private match with friends except for the Mercenary trophy. This is the only trophy in the game that requires you to play in public/quickplay matches.
- There are only two trophies in the entire game that require a full team. This includes 1 predator as well as 4 Fireteam members. These trophies are Traditionalist and Precision Leaper.
- Be sure to finish games so that your progress made is kept. If you quit In the middle of a match, and progress made towards any of the trophies will be lost.
- More than half of the trophies can be earned in a 1v1 private match with one predator and one Fireteam member. You can even do some of them with two Fireteam members and no Predator. These trophies will all be pointed out in the guide.
- You can start up a private match with yourself to grind out any of the trophies you want, even 100 exfils.
If you need help with any of the trophies, feel free to check out the Discord of this website. Here you can find sessions of any kind, including boosting.
Unlocked after all other trophies are unlocked.
As the Predator, gather a total of 100 full trophies from Fireteam bodies (Long Claims).
This trophy is unlocked after doing 100 long claims to Fireteam members while playing as the Predator.
While playing as the Predator you are able to claim downed Fireteam members by approaching them and using the button. For the purpose of this trophy, you will need to do 100 long claims, which is done by holding the button until the Fireteam member has been fully claimed. You will know it is a full claim because the Predator will pull out the entire spine as well as the skull. If you just press the button it will only count as a quick claim, and not count towards this trophy.
This trophy can be done in private or quickplay matches, or even a combination of the two. If you long claim someone, they can get reinforced so you can potentially even claim them again. You can get damaged while you are long claiming, so be sure to do it when you can so you don’t die in the middle of one. These claims will also count towards the Ancient trophy, so just try to do some long claims while going for that one as well. If doing that, then this trophy will likely unlock along the way.
As soon as you get your 100th long claim as the predator, you will unlock this trophy. This trophy will also unlock at the end of the match that it is earned in.
|Leave No Trace
As the Predator, Successfully Arm and Detonate your self destruct mechanism.
This trophy is earned after successfully arming AND detonating yourself with Predator’s self destruct mechanism.
While playing as Predator, you will have the ability to self destruct after you have been downed by either AI or Fireteam members. When down, you will see a red icon pop up in the middle of your screen that has an explosion within it. Here you must hold the button to start the self destruct mechanism. It does not matter if the AI or a FT member kills you at this point as the self destruct process has begun. Here the only people able to defuse your mechanism would be a FT member. (This is how a FT member would get the That was Close… )
If a FT defuses your mechanism, you will not get the trophy. After you activate self destruct, they will have about 30 seconds to attempt to detonate it before it explodes. Luckily for you, it as not as simple for them as just holding the to defuse it as they will have to complete a short puzzle first. If the timer depletes before they are able to successfully defuse it, then you will explode and kill anything nearby as well as unlock this trophy shortly after.
The best way to get this trophy is to start up a private match by yourself and let the AI down you. Alternatively you can even kill yourself by exploding barrels or any of your explosive damage weapons. Since the AI cannot defuse the mechanism, you are guaranteed to get the trophy so long as you activate It before actually dying.
|We Can Kill It…
As a Fireteam member, work with your team to kill a Predator.
This trophy is earned after successfully killing the predator for the first time.
This trophy is very straight forward, and simply requires you to kill the predator for the very first time. Some have reported that the trophy will only unlock if you are the FT member that gets the final blow on the predator, while others have reported that everyone in the FT will get the trophy. To kill the predator it is as simple as shooting them until all of their health is depleted. Once done, they will drop to their knees and be considered “down”. Finish them off with some more firepower until they actually get killed. It is best to also try and kill them before they activate their self destruct mechanism.
Once the predator gets killed, you will have to guard the body until the rescue team arrives. It does not matter if you survive the short wave of enemies here or not as all you have to do is simply kill the predator. You can even start up a 1v1 private match and meet up with your partner and just have them let you kill them. Doing so will guarantee that you will get the trophy without any hassle. Keep in mind that this trophy will not unlock until the game is actually completed.
As a Fireteam member, get 1000 head shots on AI enemies.
This trophy is earned after getting 1000 headshots on AI enemies while playing as a Fireteam member.
This trophy can only be earned while playing as a FT member. AI enemies are the bot controlled enemies that will roam throughout the entirety of any map you play. Most of the time they will be around mission waypoints and building structures. You will have to get 1,000 total accumulative headshots on AI enemies across all of your games. (This includes both private and quick play matches) It is best to go for this trophy while going for all of the other FT related trophies.
You should also be going for this trophy while grinding out your 100 quick play matches for the Mercenary trophy. If you have earned the Mercenary trophy and still need to farm headshots, you can actually start a private match by yourself without even having a predator enemy. This is the best method at getting the headshots because you will not be fighting with three other people to get headshot kills. Simply go to private match and change your preferred character to FT and then ready up. It will start you in a game by yourself, and you can farm anything you want here including the headshots for this trophy. You can even farm your 100 successful exfils for the Mission Accomplished trophy.
When getting a headshot you will be awarded more XP, and it will even say the word “headshot” after getting the kill. Keep in mind that it will only save your progress if you finish the game. If you quit or lose connection, all progress made during that game will be lost. This trophy will also pop after the match you earn it in ends. By the time you have the rest of the trophies regarding the FT, It is likely you will already have this one if you are constantly going for headshots.
As the Predator, claim 100 Fireteam member trophies (Any Claims).
This trophy is earned after successfully getting 100 of ANY claim on Fireteam members while playing as Predator.
For the purpose of this trophy, you will only need 100 claims of any kind. You will also need to get 500 for the Elite trophy before eventually reaching 1,000 to ultimately get the Ancient trophy. You can view this trophy for more information on claims, as well as receiving this string of three trophies.
As the Predator, claim 500 Fireteam member trophies (Any Claims).
This trophy is earned after successfully getting 500 of ANY claim on Fireteam members while playing as Predator.
For the purpose of this trophy, you will only need 500 claims of any kind. You will also need to get 1,000 to ultimately get the Ancient trophy. You can view this trophy for more information on claims, as well as receiving this trophy.
As the Predator, claim 1000 Fireteam member trophies (Any Claims).
This trophy is earned after getting 1,000 claims of any kind while playing as the Predator.
This trophy can be unlocked in private or quickplay matches, or even a combination of the two. In order to claim a FT member you must first damage them enough to the point where they go down. Once they are down you can run up to them and claim them by using the button. You can either hold it to do a long claim, or simply press it to do the quick claim. For this trophy, both claims you do will count towards this trophy.
When you claim an enemy, they will be out of the game until they get reinforced back in. If they happen to get reinforced back into the game, you can even down and claim them once again to get more claims added to your overall total. This is going to be the trophy that takes the majority of your time when going for the platinum. Whether you boost this trophy or earn it through quickplay, it is still going to take a while. If you get 4 claims on average per match (you may get more, you may get less) then you are going to be playing a minimum of 250 matches as predator. This is if you manage to claim all four FT members at least once every game.
If you are doing this in a private match with friends, you can simply down and claim three of the FT members, and just have the remaining one go and reinforce the team back into the game so that you can keep going. If an enemy bleeds out, it will not count as a claim. Although you are able to claim some of the AI enemies in the game, only claims made towards FT members will count towards this trophy. Your total while accumulate across both quickplay and private matches. Make sure to finish your games as leaving will make you lose any progress made during that match. Your stats are only saved when matches have been completed.
This trophy will also unlock at the end of the match it is earned in. Along the way you will unlock the Blooded trophy at 100 claims, as well as Elite at 500. Once you have your 1,000th claim of any kind, you will also unlock this trophy.
As the Predator, heal yourself when the Fireteam is within 50m of you.
This trophy is earned after successfully healing yourself as the Predator, while a member of the FT is within 50 meters of you.
While playing as predator, one of the usable gears is a device that is able to heal you. This device is unlocked from the start, and will come with two uses at default. To heal yourself you must first take some damage. You can take damage from AI enemies, a FT member, or even by damaging yourself. Once done you must stand close to a FT member, or at least within 50 meters of one. (50 meters is quite a generous distance) Equip your healing device and start to heal yourself.
You must complete the entire heal. If you stop before the heal is complete, you will only gain back a minimal amount of health and not unlock this trophy. As long as you do a full heal while within at least 50 meters of a FT member, you will get this trophy. This trophy pops as soon as you accomplish it, and you do not need to wait until the end of the game for it to unlock. You can even do this trophy in a 1v1 private match. Just have whoever is playing as the FT member stand near you while you heal, and the trophy will unlock as soon as it is completed In full.
You can also get this trophy if you manage to heal yourself when you are in your “second chance” stage and the game gives you the option to heal before going down.
|If It Bleeds…
Wound a Predator so it leaves a green blood trail.
This trophy is unlocked after wounding a predator so that it leaves behind a green blood trail.
Another easy trophy that will unlock without you really trying for it. When doing damage to the Predator, you have the chance of wounding him. (More likely than not, you will easily wound them with a few bullets) While they are wounded, they will leave behind a trail of bright neon green blood that you can follow to track them for a short period of time. You will be able to easily see the blood trail as soon as they get wounded. You need to be the FT member that wounds the predator to get this trophy, and it will not unlock for everyone. You can also wound the predator multiple times a game.
This trophy is another one that can be boosted in a 1v1 private match. Just have the predator run up to you so that you can shoot them without any trouble. Once the green blood starts oozing out of the predator, the trophy will unlock shortly after.
As the Predator, Kill an entire Fireteam with just your wrist blades.
This trophy is unlocked after you have killed an entire Fireteam with just your wrist blades while playing as the Predator.
This trophy has given a lot of users a lot of trouble. In conclusion, it has come down to the simple fact that it is just a buggy trophy and will unlock when it wants to. You can do exactly what you are supposed to do, and there will still be a chance that you might not unlock it on your first attempt. This is also one of the two trophies in the game that requires you to have a full group of 5 people. (4 FT members and one Predator) The good news is that this trophy can be done in a private match as well as quick play.
The wrist blades are unlocked from the very beginning of the game. They are used by equipping them on the weapon wheel and pressing the button when equipped. Although it looks like a normal melee attacks, it will not register as a wrist blade attack unless you are actually melee killing people while they are equipped. When downing an enemy, it is best to also use your blades to finish them off while they are on the ground. This is because people are having trouble unlocking the trophy when they just let the FT members bleed out. It has also been reported that you can claim the FT members, and the trophy will still unlock so long as they were brought down with the wrist blades.
If you are having trouble hitting an enemy while they are downed, it is likely because there are FT members nearby the downed body. Have them stand farther away so that you can hit the downed FT member without any trouble. The FT members can see and confirm what they were killed by to assure that it is registering as a Wrist blade kill. Once they die, it will show the weapon they were killed by at the bottom of the screen. With that being said, people have reported they register all 4 kills with the wrist blades and the trophy still does not pop.
If you don’t manage to get the trophy, just try again until it unlocks. It is just buggy, and likes to unlock when in wants to. This trophy will also unlock at the very end of the game when you are watching the end game cutscene with predator. If there is an update to fix this trophy, the guide will be updated. For now, just down and kill all 4 FT members with your wrist blades equipped and you will get the trophy. If you don’t have them equipped, it will show that you killed the FT member with your lasers. Unfortunately you can not earn this trophy with a single FT member, and you must down and kill a total of 4 FT members with your wrist blades in a single match.
|Guarded To Perfection
Successfully secure 25 Predator bodies for the OWLF.
This trophy is unlocked after you have successfully secured 25 Predator bodies for the OWLF.
This trophy can only be unlocked while playing as a FT member. To secure the body of a predator you must first kill him so that the OWLF agents come to pick you and the body up. Just shoot at the predator alongside your team and work together to bring him down. Once you damage them enough, they will turn white and enter the “second chance” state. Continue firing at the Predator until the go down. Once they are down, continue to shoot at them until they are actually killed. If they enter self destruct mode, you will not be able to secure their body.
After successfully killing the predator you will be able to start the process of securing their body so long as they didn’t enter self destruct. If they do enter self destruct, go defuse their bomb before it explodes. (This is also how you get the That was Close… trophy) After successfully killing the predator, you will hear word that their is a OWLF chopper on the way to pick both you and the body up. There will be about one minute here where you will have to fend off enemies while waiting for the chopper. You will also see to the left of your screen a meter which shows the current state of the predators body. It does not matter what state the body is in when it is picked up. It can be damaged or in perfect condition, both are fine.
As long as you survive the short wave of enemies, the chopper will come pick your team and the predator up and the game will end. Keep in mind that this does not count as an “Exfil” though will still count as a win for your Fireteam. This trophy can also be boosted in a 1v1 game. Simply kill the predator and survive until the chopper comes. Rinse and repeat for a total of 25 times and you will unlock this trophy at the end of the 25th successful game. If you happen to die before the chopper comes, you will not get credit for the secured body unless another member on your FT survives. Although you get more XP for the body if It comes back in a good condition, it does not matter for the purpose of this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, cover yourself in Mud completely 50 times.
This trophy is unlocked after you successfully cover yourself completely in mud 50 times while playing as a Fireteam member.
When playing as a FT member, you have the ability to cover yourself in mud in attempt to hide yourself from the Predator’s vision. You can do this by simply standing over a muddy surface (there are many on each map) such as a hill, or muddy pathway. Look down at the muddy surface and hold the button until the meter is completely full. Doing so will completely cover you in mud. If you don’t hold the entire time, you will only partially be covered an the progress will not be counted towards this trophy.
Once covered in mud, after about 1 minute goes by you will be able to cover yourself again. This means you can cover yourself an average of at least 5 times per game, or even more depending on how long each game is. While going for the other FT trophies, just remember to look down and cover yourself in mud while you play. If you do this, you will likely get the trophy before you even know it. You can do this in public or private match, in a 1v1, or even completely by yourself. To play by yourself, just go to a private match and changed your preferred character to Fireteam. Ready up and it will start the game without a predator.
You can play by yourself to earn progress towards this trophy, as well as any other FT trophy in the game that does not require you to play quickplay. After successfully covering yourself 50 times in mud, you will unlock this trophy. Keep in mind that backing out of a game will make you lose any progress made in that game. This trophy will unlock at the end of the match it is earned in.
Play 100 Quick play matches as a Fireteam member.
This trophy is earned after successfully playing 100 quickplay matches as a Fireteam member.
This is the ONLY trophy in the game that requires you to play quickplay matches. Literally every other trophy in the game can be done in a private match. Playing 100 quickplay matches will not be quick, and it will take some grinding. While you are playing through these games it is best you attempt to go for all of the other FT related trophies as well. This way you at least have more to do when attempting this one.
All games played in private match will NOT add to your total for this specific trophy. Only games in Quickplay played as a FT member will count. (Games played as predator will not count) If you happen to quit in the middle of a match, those game will also not count. Only games played from start to finish will add to overall amount of games played. The good news is that you don’t have to win the games a simply playing them will do. It does not matter if you die in the first minute, kill the predator, or escape by the chopper as long as you finish the game.
After you get this trophy out of the way, you don’t even need to touch quickplay anymore unless you wanted to. After successfully playing your 100th quickplay match with a FT member, you will unlock this trophy.
As the Predator, Trap 50 Fireteam members in bear traps.
This trophy is unlocked after trapping 50 fireteam members in bear traps while playing as the Predator.
The bear trap is unlocked after reaching level 34. You can gain XP while playing either of the two sides, as well as in quickplay or private matches. Once you reach player level 34, you will be notified of your new unlock in the post game screen. To equip the bear traps, go to the customization tab from the main menu and select predator. From here go to the Gear tab and equip them. You can now start using them online in either of the two modes.
You will only get 3 bear traps a game. It is recommended that you use the “Large Pouch” perk so that you can carry an extra trap for a total of 4. Once in a game, select the bear traps from the weapon will. When you throw one on the ground you will see a bright red circular radius around the actual trap. When a Fireteam member steps in this trap, they will get trapped until they free themselves. (By looking down at the trap and holding the button) It does not matter if they get free or not, as simply trapping them will be enough to accumulate the overall total. You can also continue to farm the same FT member over and over which means this trophy can be boosted in 1v1 private matches.
If you are doing this trophy in a 1v1, it will take a total of 13 games to unlock this trophy if you are getting 4 captures a game. This trophy will also unlock at the end of the game that it is earned in. After trapping a total of 50 FT members in your bear traps, you will unlock this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, Revive teammates 100 times.
This trophy is unlocked after you have revived teammates 100 times while playing as a Fireteam member.
When one of your teammates goes down, you can revive them by holding the button. You can do this trophy in a private or quickplay match, or even a combination of the two. If you are doing a private match, just have the predator continuously down the FT members so that you can pick them back up. Be sure that you are using the extra down perk so that you are able to go down an additional time before automatically dying if you go down too many times.
When your teammates go down for good, just go and reinforce them to bring them back into the game so you can continue to revive them. You can also go for this trophy while going for your 100 quickplay matches, just be sure to only revive when the coast is clear otherwise the Predator will likely down you as well. After you get your 100th revive, you will unlock this trophy at the end of the match that it is earned in.
As the Predator, leap and hit all 4 Fireteam members with a single leap attack.
This trophy is unlocked after leaping and hitting all 4 Fireteam members with a single leap attack while playing as the predator.
This is one of the two trophies in the game that requires you to be in a full lobby of players consisting of four FT members and one Predator. This trophy can be earned from the start as you have your leap attack at default. This trophy can be tricky to do in a quickplay match but luckily, it can be earned in a private game with friends. While playing as predator you must first find/locate the enemy Fireteam. Once you locate them you will need to wait until they are bunched up together. The leap attack as a decent radius, but the close the fireteam is together the better.
To use the leap you must hold the button when not moving. Place the red marker where you want to leap and then release the button. Once in the air you will need to then hold the button before you hit the ground to initiate an attack. If done correctly you will let of an electric/static attack upon hitting the ground. Your energy will also be overloaded at this point. If this attack damages all 4 of the FT members, the trophy will unlock. This trophy also unlocks as soon as you achieve it and not at the end of the game.
You do not need to down the FT members with the attack, you only need to damage all four of them at once.
As the Predator, knock down a Fireteam member while your energy is overloaded.
This trophy is unlocked after using the Predator to knock down a Fireteam member while your energy is overloaded.
This trophy can only be earned while playing as predator. It can be done in a quickplay or private match, and only requires a minimum of one FT member on the enemy team. Your energy is the meter that is displayed in the bottom right of your screen. Anything you use of the Predator’s will deplete this meter. This includes using your laser guns, going invisible, leaping, as well as using your vision. If you allow this meter to get fully depleted, you will get overloaded.
Once you are overloaded, all of your skills will be locked aside from your melee. Overload lasts about 10 seconds so all you need to do is down a FT member within that 10 second time frame your energy is overloaded. You will know you are overloaded because your meters will be glitchy, and it will say overload as soon as it happens. The easiest way to do this is to just use a leap attack on an enemy as you will automatically use all of your energy when doing so. If your leap is what downs the enemy, the trophy will unlock as well. If not, simply use your melee weapon to down them after leaping at them.
You do not need to kill the FT member as simply downing them while your energy is overloaded will be enough to unlock it. This trophy will unlock as soon as it is earned, and not at the end of the match.
As a Fireteam member, complete 100 missions with successful Exfils.
This trophy is earned after completing 100 successful Exfils while playing as a Fireteam member.
Exfils can only be earned when playing as a FT member. An exfil is when you complete all 3 objectives in the mission, and then successfully escape via the chopper. To get the chopper to come you must first complete a strand of 3 randomly generated missions on a level. Once done, you will get word of an exfil location. Head to this location and you will drop a flare for the chopper to come pick you up. Here you must then fend off some enemies while waiting about a minute for the chopper to appear.
Once the chopper appears it will drop some ropes that you need to interact with by holding the button. Once you interact with the ropes, you will escape via the chopper and get a successful exfil. It is important to note that killing the predator and having the OWLF team pick up the body does NOT count as an exfil. Although it is considered a win, an exfil is only granted by completing the in game objectives and escaping by the chopper at the end. This is what makes this trophy more difficult because most of the time the predator either kills you, or your team kills the predator by the time the first mission is already over.
The good news is that this can be boosted in a private match. The better news is that you don’t even need anyone with you to start a game and earn this trophy. If you want to farm this trophy in a private match, simply start up a game and change your preferred character to a FT member. Ready up and it will throw you in a game completely by yourself and with no predator. Run through the missions at your own pace and escape on the chopper with ease. You can also farm other things while doing this such as boar kills, AI headshots, barrel explosions, and more.
If you are doing this trophy in private match then it is best to wait until after you receive the Mercenary trophy first. This is because you need to complete 100 public matches anyways, so it is likely you will get some exfils while doing that. It will save you some time by not doing this first, and then having to play an additional 100 matches in quickplay. After earning your 100th successful exfil as a FT member, you will unlock this trophy.
|GET TO THE CHOPPA
As a Fireteam member, successfully Exfil with the entire team alive after completing a mission.
This trophy is unlocked after you have successfully done an exfil while your entire Fireteam is still alive.
This trophy requires a minimum of four people to unlock. You will need a full group of 4 fireteam members. The good news is, this trophy can also be obtained in a private match, and you don’t even need someone playing as predator to unlock it. Start up the game as a FT member on any map, and you will be prompted to complete a series of three randomly generated missions. Once all of the missions have been completed, you will get the location of the exfil.
Head to the exfil location and you will drop a flare to signal the chopper for rescue. Here you will have to fend off enemies for a minute while you wait for the chopper to arrive. Once the chopper arrives it will drop ropes that you will need to interact with in order to escape. Hold the button when near the ropes to escape and successfully get an exfil. All four fireteam members will need to escape in order for the trophy to unlock. Once the ropes are dropped you only have 30 seconds to grab them, so make sure your team is nearby and ready to go.
Once all four FT members successfully escape via the exfil chopper, the trophy will unlock for all of you. Keep in mind that an exfil is only done when escaping via the chopper after all of the missions are completed on the map. You will also only have a total of 15 minutes from the start of the map to the end of it to complete the missions and escape. Killing off the predator for the OWLF chopper does not count as an exfil.
|That Was Close…
As a Fireteam member, successfully defuse a dead Predator’s self destruct mechanism.
This trophy is unlocked after defusing a Predator’s self destruct mechanism while playing as a fireteam member.
In order to be able to defuse a predator’s self destruct mechanism, you must first down them. Once they are downed, stop shooting so you give them time to enter their self destruct mode. (They do not need to enter this mode, but they normally do) For more information on how to enter self destruct, please view the Leave no Trace trophy. Once they enter self destruct, all of the FT members will be notified, and you will hear very frightening laughs coming from the Predator.
Approach the predator and hold the button to start the defuse process. Here you will have to use the directional buttons on the D-Pad to match the image shown in the box. Once they match, tap the button to submit your answer. If wrong, it will beep at you and you will have to try again. If you get it right, you will move onto the next image. You will have to do this a total of 4 times to successfully defuse the mechanism. No pressure, but you only have about 30 seconds from the time the mechanism starts to the time it explodes to defuse it. The horrifying laughs will also add to the pressure.
This trophy can also be done in a private 1v1 match. If you successfully defuse the bomb, you will start the process of the OWLF chopper coming to claim the body. This trophy will pop as soon as you do it so it does not matter if you die or survive the rest of the game. The trophy will also only unlock for the FT member that defuses the bomb. For a video on a self destruct mechanism getting defused, please view the video below.
As a Fireteam member, free a teammate from a Predator’s net.
This trophy is unlocked after freeing a Fireteam member from a Predator’s net.
The net gun is an unlockable weapon for the Predator. For more information on how and when it is unlocked, please view the Wrap Artist trophy. This trophy also requires a minimum of 3 people to get this trophy. You will need at least one person playing as the Predator, and the other 2 playing as a FT member. When the predator hits you with the net gun you will be trapped until you either free yourself, (by tapping the button) or by getting freed by a FT member.
For this trophy, you will need to be the one who frees a FT member from the net. Simply play until you see a teammate that is trapped by a net, and then approach them and melee them to free them. Once you melee them, they will be freed from the net and you will unlock this trophy. This trophy will also unlock as soon as you do it, and you only need to do it the one time to unlock it.
As a Predator, trap 50 Fireteam members with the Net Gun.
This trophy is unlocked after trapping 50 Fireteam members with the Net Gun while playing as the Predator.
The Net Gun is a weapon that is unlocked at level 15. Once you are level 15, you can go to the predator customization tab from the main menu to equip it. If you use the “Large Pouch” perk, you are able to hold 15 nets in your gun per game. This means you can potentially hit 15 FT members per game. This can be done in either private or quickplay matches, and can even be done in a 1v1 as you are able to just trap the same FT member over and over as they are able to just free themselves each time you shoot them with one.
When you shoot a FT member with a net, it will wrap around them and they will be trapped until they either free themselves or get freed by another FT member. (This is how you get the Safety Net trophy) The game will also only accumulate your total when the game is finished, so do not quit midgame unless you want to lose your progress made in that match. If doing a 1v1 to farm this trophy, it will take a minimum of 4 games to unlock it. This trophy is also one that will not unlock until the end of the game that it is earned in.
After successfully trapping your 50th FT member with your Net Gun, you will unlock this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, unleash Mini Gun mayhem until completely depleting ammunition.
This trophy is unlocked after you have unleased mini gun mayhem while playing as a Fireteam member.
This trophy can only be earned while playing as a FT member, and can even be done simply by jumping in a private match by yourself just to quickly earn this trophy. The minigun can be found from the customization tab on the main menu under the special secondary tab. It is also known as the “S-R3D” and can only be unlocked one of two ways. If you pre ordered any version of the game, you will have this weapon unlocked from the very beginning of the game. If you did not pre order the game, you will not unlock this weapon until you are level 68.
Once you have the weapon unlocked, it will have two full rounds of ammunition. All you have to do is just fire until every last bullet has been depleted. It does not matter what you are shooting, aim at the sky if you want. After the first round has been depleted, reload the gun and continue firing until there is no more ammo left. Once you run out of ammo, the trophy will unlock shortly after. This trophy has also been known to be buggy, and unlock when it wants to. You are not doing anything wrong, it is as simple as continuously firing until there is no more ammo in the weapon.
This trophy is unlocked as soon as it is earned, and you do not need to wait for the match to end. Simply start up a game once the S-R3D is unlocked and fire it until it is empty to unlock this trophy.
As the Predator, hit a Fireteam member with a combistick throw over 100m.
This trophy is unlocked after hitting a Fireteam member with a combistick from over 100m away while playing as the Predator.
The combistick is a secondary weapon that is unlocked for the Predator once you reach level 42. It is a staff like object that the predator is able to throw at a FT member. This trophy can be earned in a private or quickplay match. Once you reach player level 42, equip the combistick and start up a match as the predator. If doing this in a private match, you only need one other person to earn this trophy. Pick any map you are comfortable with as each location will have multiple spots where the trophy can be earned.
100 meters is quite the distance, and it would be impressive if this trophy got earned in a quickplay match. Not only is 100 meters so far where to the point you can barely even see each other, but the bullet drop on the combistick is massive. From 100 meters away, you will need to aim pretty high in order for the stick to hit the FT member. It is much easier to earn this trophy if the predator takes the high ground, and the FT member is lower below. You do not need to down / kill the FT member, as simply hitting them from over 100m away will be enough to unlock the trophy.
You can see how far you are by having the FT member aim at the area you are standing and pressing the button. This will show a little “eye” icon as well as display how many meters away that location is. If it is under 100 meters, tell the predator they need to move farther back before throwing the stick. If you throw the stick and miss, you will need to run all the way over to where it is and pick it back up before being able to throw it again. There will be a white marker displayed above the stick so you know where it is at at all times. Just pick the stick up and try again until you come in contact with the FT member.
This trophy will unlock as soon as it is earned o if you hit the FT member and it doesn’t unlock, then you need to back up farther. As soon as you hit a FT member from over 100M away with the combistick, you will unlock this trophy.
|Learning The Ropes
Complete the tutorial level.
This trophy is unlocked after completing the tutorial level.
From the main menu, select the option to play the tutorial. It will be a quick 10 minute mission that shows you the basic controls on playing as Predator. It will have you try out a few of your abilities, traverse through the trees, kill some AI enemies, and overall just so you some of the games mechanics. During the tutorial you will eventually come to a larger camp area in which you must dispose of all of the enemies here.
After killing all of the enemies it will have you run up to one of them that you killed and learn about claiming. Claim the enemy to trigger a cut scene as well as end the tutorial level. You will unlock the trophy here, and the tutorial will be completed. After completing it, it will also let you know that you can learn more in depth / advanced mechanics from the main menu as well, though it is not required for this trophy.
Play 50 matches as the Predator.
This trophy is unlocked after playing 50 matches as predator.
Unlike the Mercenary trophy, these games can be done in a private or quickplay match, or even a combination of the two modes. You can even enter a private match by yourself while playing as predator and just run around farming the other trophies for 15 minutes until the game ends. You can also even enter the game by yourself (or with others) and just kill yourself to end the match even quicker.
It does not matter If you win or lose the game, simply playing any mode from start to finish will be enough to add to your overall total of matches played as the predator. You will get this trophy long before you get the Ancient trophy, so there is no reason to go out of your way to specifically grind this trophy. It will pop while going for the other predator related trophies in the game.
As stated, it does not need to be a quickplay match either. After completing your 50th game as predator on any mode, you will unlock this trophy.
As the Predator, Travel a total of 100 KM in the trees.
This trophy is unlocked after you have traveled 100 KM in the trees while playing as Predator.
This trophy can only be earned as predator and can be achieved through private or quickplay matches, and even a combination of the two modes. Predator has the ability to climb trees by jumping at the tree. Trees you are able to climb will have red glow as you get closer to it. Once in the tree you can climb through the branches as well as leap to other nearby trees to continue running. 100 KM totals out to a little over 62 miles, so you will be running across the trees for a while.
If you are constantly traversing through the trees while going for all of the other Predator related trophies, then you will likely unlock this trophy by the time you get the Ancient trophy. This trophy can even be earned by playing a private match with yourself. Simply start up the private match, read up, and you will have 15 minutes by yourself to just consistently run through the trees. If playing in quickplay, the FT members will likely shoot a lot of the branches down which will just make the process harder and longer.
Keep in mind that if you back out before the match is over, you will lose all of the progress made during that game. It will only add to your overall total if you finish the match. The trophy will also unlock at the very end of the match that it is earned in. After successfully traveling through the trees for 100 KM (or 62 miles) you will unlock this trophy.
|Salt in the Wound
As the Predator, perform a finisher on a wounded fireteam member.
This trophy is unlocked after performing a finisher on a FT member while playing as the Predator.
A finisher is when you kill off an enemy that you have downed by any means. This can even be done in a private match so long as you have at least one other person in the game with you playing as a FT member. When a FT member goes down, just continue damaging them until they bleed out and die. You can even simply run up to them and claim them to perform a finisher.
If you allow them to bleed out on their own, it will not count as a finisher. As soon as you perform a finisher for the first time on any FT member, you will unlock this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, find an OWLF tape.
This trophy is unlocked after finding your first OWLF tape.
Unlike the trophy description suggests, you can actually unlock this trophy whether you are playing as a FT member or even predator. OWLF discs can be picked up just like any item, and will spawn in random locations. There will always be at least on OWLF tape on the map, it is just completely at random where they are located. They are bright red tapes that are normally located inside a building, and will be sitting on a table or crate. Just hold the button to pick it up.
While playing normally through the game, just thoroughly search all of the buildings you come across until you find one. It does not matter whether you pick it up as Predator or a FT member, as long as you pick one up you will unlock the trophy. You can also see all of the OWLF tapes you have collected by going to the extras/collectibles tab from the main menu. There are a total of 20 in the game, but for the purpose of this trophy you will only need to pick up just one.
|30-50 Feral Hogs
Kill 50 wild boars.
This trophy unlocks after killing your 50th wild boar.
Boars are the only wildlife in the game that can be killed. Both FT members as well as the Predator are able to kill the boars. You can also kill the boars whether you are playing quickplay or private matches. The boars can be hard to see when playing as a FT member, and are also very quick and hard to hit. It is best done while playing as the predator and running around with your vision on. They are much easier to see when using your vision because they will be highlighted with a yellow hue.
Boars also respawn after you kill them. You can simply even start up a private match with yourself as Predator, and run around in a big circular motion around a boar spawn. You do not need to feed on them or anything, simply killing them is enough to add to your overall total of boars you have killed. You can get 10-15 boars in a single match if you are just farming a single boar location, so this trophy can be earned in no time. You can also simply play the game normally and just kill boars while you play and as you see them.
The game will keep track of the boars you have killed so long as you finish the game. If you quit in the middle of the game, your kills will not count. You will also unlock this trophy at the end of the match in which it is earned. After successfully killing a total of 50 boars by any means and with any character, you will unlock this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, take down a PMC heavy soldier by yourself.
This trophy is unlocked after you have taken down a heavy PMC soldier as a Fireteam member by yourself.
PMC soldiers are the giant juggernaut type enemies that have helmets and wield around big weapons. They take a lot more damage than the normal AI enemies, but can still easily be taken down. It is best to do this trophy in a private match by yourself because you need to be the only FT member that damages the PMC soldier. If the PMC soldier takes damage from any other FT member, the trophy will not unlock for either of you.
PMC soldiers normally come when the OWLF are coming to pick up a Predator body, or even when the other AI enemies summon an alarm at any of the camps. Once the PMC soldier spawns, simply shoot at them in the head until they go down. If you are the only FT member that does damage to the soldier, then the trophy will unlock as soon as you do it. If playing by yourself, just let someone sound the alarm and wait for the heavy soldier to show up. If they don’t, head to another camp or try again the next game.
Destroy 250 Explosive Barrels.
This trophy is unlocked after you have destroyed a total of 250 explosive barrels.
This trophy can be earned in any mode, and it does not matter whether you are doing it as predator, a FT member, or a combination of the two. You can even start up a private match by yourself and run around destroying barrels until you unlock the trophy. Despite the description, anything that explodes will count towards this trophy. This means you can shoot at barrels, gas cans, or even the explosive devices that are attached to buildings and vehicles.
If you are playing as the predator, you can just use your vision to easily see the barrels. Most explosive barrels will be scattered around the different campsites on each of the maps. The barrels will also respawn if you run away for long enough. This means you can just go to a camp and destroy all of the explosive barrels, and then run to another camp to do the same thing. Just run back and forth between two different camps to quickly rack up the explosive barrels.
Be sure not to back out in the middle of a match, otherwise you will lose all progress made during the match. This trophy will unlock at the end of the match that the 250th barrel is destroyed in. If you are shooting barrels as you play normally, then you will unlock this trophy while going for the other ones. After destroying 250 barrels while playing as either of the two teams, you will unlock this trophy.
As a Fireteam member, Reinforce your entire team back into the match.
This trophy is unlocked after you have reinforced your entire team back into the match while playing as a FT member.
This trophy can only be earned as a FT member, and requires a minimum of 2 players to get. (You do not even need a predator on the other team to unlock it) Also despite the trophy description, whether you are playing by yourself or with a full team, as long as you reinforce at least one teammate you will unlock this trophy.
When a player goes down and dies, they will be able to get reinforced after a minute of being dead. When they are ready to be reinforced, you will see an icon come up on your map. The predator will also see this icon, so be quick if you are not playing by yourselves. Run up to the objective and interact with the device there by holding the button. If done correctly, you will reinforce any dead teammate right to your location so that they are back in the game.
If you are doing this in a private match with no predator, just have your teammate die to the AI enemies or even kill themselves so that they can bleed out and you can reinforce them. As soon as you reinforce a teammate for the first time, the trophy will unlock as soon as it is done.
|Last Man Standing
As a Fireteam member, escape as the sole survivor.
This trophy is unlocked after you have escaped as the only sole survivor while playing as a fireteam member.
This trophy can be done in either of the two modes, and you can even do it while playing by yourself in a private match. To escape as a sole survivor you must be the only one who escapes on the exfil chopper while your other teammates are either dead or non existent. If you are playing by yourself, then just complete all of the missions until you learn the location of the exfil chopper. Head there and drop the flare, and then wait for the choppers arrival. Interact with the ropes the chopper drops to successfully escape.
If any of your teammates escape with you, or are not dead when the chopper leaves, you will not unlock this trophy. Even if the chopper leaves without your teammates and you are the only one who gets on it, the trophy will still not unlock. They need to be dead before the chopper leaves and flies away with you being the only FT member inside it. If you are playing with friends, just be sure they either kill themselves or go down to the predator before the chopper arrives.
You do not need a predator in the game to unlock this trophy. Also, escaping by the OWLF chopper that comes when the predator has been killed will not count towards this trophy. It needs to be a successful exfil that only takes place after completing all of the missions on the map. As soon as you do a successful exfil while being the only FT member alive, you will unlock this trophy.
|Practice Makes Perfect
As the Predator, kill 500 AI Soldiers.
This trophy is unlocked after you have killed 500 AI soldiers while playing as the Predator.
This trophy can be earned in private or quickplay matches, and even farmed in a private match by yourself. AI soldiers are the enemies that will patrol the camps and will attack both you and FT members. Each one of these AI members you kill will add to your overall total needed for the trophy. If you are killing AI enemies while going for your other predator related trophies, then this trophy will definitely unlock by the time you get 1,000 claims.
If you are playing a private match by yourself, just go to a campsite and start killing all of the AI enemies that you see. You can see red arrows on your mini-map, as well as easily see AI enemies by turning on your vision. After they are all dead, head to another campsite and kill all of the AI enemies there as well. Head back to the first camp, and some of the enemies should have respawned by now so that you can kill more of them. At the end of the match it will also tell you how many AI enemies you have killed in the results screen.
It does not matter how you kill the enemies so long as they are killed by the predator. Progress will only be tracked in matches that you finish, so be sure not to back out of a game unless you want to lose any progress that was made in that game. After you have killed your 500th AI enemy while playing as predator, this trophy will unlock at the end of the match that it is earned in.
Reach Player Level 25.
This trophy is unlocked after you reach player level 25.
You will need to reach level 50 to unlock the Distinguished Hunter trophy as well as ultimately level 100 to unlock the Hunting Grounds Master trophy. For more information on how to level up and earn these trophies, please view Hunting Grounds Master. Once you reach level 25, this trophy will unlock.
Reach Player level 50.
This trophy is unlocked when you reach player level 50.
Although you only need to reach player level 50 for the purpose of this trophy, you will ultimately need to get to level 100 to unlock the Hunting Grounds Master trophy. Please view that trophy for more information on XP and how to level up.
|Hunting Grounds Master
Reach Player level 100.
This trophy is unlocked after reaching player level 100.
You level up by doing just about anything in the game. You can also earn XP in both private and quickplay matches. It does also not matter whether you are playing as the Predator or a Fireteam member as both will add to your overall player level. You are only awarded XP for games that you finish, so be sure to finish all of your games to ensure you aren’t losing progress towards this trophy or any of the other ones.
This trophy will unlock by the time you earn all of the other trophies in the game, especially if you have double XP tokens that were awarded for pre ordering the game. The Ancient trophy alone will get you to level 100 by the time you earn it. Most of your XP will come from downing and claiming Fireteam members while playing as the Predator. You also get a lot of XP simply by completing matches. Even killing AI enemies will grant you a decent amount of XP that adds up overtime.
On average you should be netting 5,000+ XP a game whether you win or lose. If you have double XP, that turns to 10,000+ a game. Just continue playing and going for the other trophies, and this one will come naturally. There is no real way to farm XP other than doing the tasks that net you other trophies. You will also need to level up to gain access to more weapons and gear items that are used for most of the trophies in the game. After reaching level 100, you will unlock this trophy. You will also unlock the Elite Mercenary and Distinguished Hunter trophies along the way.
Kill 5 AI with a single explosion.
This trophy is unlocked after killing 5 AI with a single explosion.
This trophy can either be done by playing as the Predator or a FT member. It is easiest to earn this trophy in a private match by yourself so that you don’t have other people killing all of the AI enemies when you are trying to get the explosion kills. There are two main ways you can go about getting this trophy. Below will list a way to earn the trophy while playing as either of the two teams.
- Fireteam Member – The best way to earn the trophy as a FT member is to go to a camp and let them sound the alarm when they spot you. Wait for them to bunch up, and the simply toss a grenade into the middle of them. The grenade has a very generous blast radius, so you should be able to easily kill 5 of them and more with a single grenade throw. You can also do this same method while waiting for the exfil chopper, as there tends to be a lot of AI swarming you and trying to prevent you from escaping.
- Predator – Similar to above, head to a campsite and let the AI enemies sound the alarm so that more enemies will come to your location. Once there are enough enemies on the camp, head somewhere outside one of the buildings in the middle of the area and let them come down you. As soon as they down you, hold the button so that you enter your self destruct mode. The blast radius of this is much larger than a grenade, and you will easily kill anybody that is nearby. At the end of the match in the results screen, you will be able to see how many AI were killed. If the number is 5 or greater, the trophy will unlock.
It does not matter who you earn the trophy with so long as you are able to kill 5 AI with a single explosion. Killing FT members with a Predator explosion will not count as they have to be AI members. As soon as you have killed at least 5 AI enemies with a single explosion, the trophy will unlock. You can also use explosive barrels in attempt to get this trophy, but that would be the harder of the three routes in earning this one.
|Against All Odds
As the Predator, have your mask destroyed by the Fireteam, but still kill them all.
This trophy is unlocked after having your mask destroyed by a Fireteam member, but still kill them all while playing as the Predator.
You need to have at least one Fireteam member on the opposite team as using the AI will not work for this trophy. While playing as the predator, your helmet will fall off if you take enough damage to it. Once it falls off, you will be able to see the face of the Predator and you will also start taking more damage to the head. To earn this trophy, all you have to do is kill all of the Fireteam members in the game after your mask has already been removed.
It does not matter if there is one or four fireteam members in the game, it will still count as “killing them all” even if there is only one. If you kill anybody before your mask is destroyed, you will be locked out of the trophy even if they are reinforced later in the game. Just let the fireteam members shoot you in the face until your mask comes off. (This is how you get the One Ugly Mother… trophy) Once it is off, kill every FT member in the game and you will unlock this trophy at the end of the match.
As the Predator, kill the entire Fireteam before they complete their main mission.
This trophy is earned by killing the entire Fireteam while playing as the Predator.
When playing as the predator, your only goal is to kill all four of the FT members before they are able to escape through the exfil chopper. The good news is, this trophy can be done in a 1v1 against a friend in a private match. So long as there is at least one FT member on the enemy team, this trophy can be earned. When you down an enemy, be sure to kill them by any means to prevent them from being revived by another player. (If you guys are alone, this wont be an issue)
If there are multiple people in the game, the enemy team can reinforce their teammates when they are killed. If this happens, you will have to kill everyone again. As soon as everyone has been killed, the trophy will unlock for the predator as soon as the endgame cutscene starts. If there is only one FT member, simple down and kill them to get the trophy without any problems. If anyone on the FT manages to escape on the exfil chopper, the trophy will not unlock for the predator.
If a FT member also backs out midgame (even after killing them) you will not get credit for killing every member, which will lock out this trophy until the next game. This is why it is easiest to do this in a private match so that you can be sure the FT members don’t rage quit after they die. As soon as you kill every FT member in the game before they reach the chopper, you will unlock this trophy.
|One Ugly Mother…
As a Fireteam member, knock off the Predator’s Helmet.
This trophy is unlocked after you have successfully shot off the Predator’s helmet while playing as a Fireteam member.
This trophy can only be earned as a FT member, and needs to at least be done in a 1v1 with someone playing as both a Predator and a FT member. A predator’s mask will fall of as soon as you do enough damage to the mask itself with your weapons. Only the FT member that shoots the bullet that takes off the mask will unlock this trophy. It is also possible to kill the predator without their mask falling off, so be sure you are aiming at their head when shooting.
You can also shoot off their mask when they are in their downed state. This makes things easier if you are struggling to find a friend to help you out in a private match. Just unload on the predator until they drop to their knees, and then shoot at their mask only. If done correctly, their mask will break off and you will be able to see their face. Once their mask is off you will also be able to do more damage for your headshots. If the predator happens to win the match after their mask gets destroyed, they will also unlock the Against all Odds trophy.
This trophy will unlock for the FT member that destroys the mask as soon as they do it. Simply shoot at the predators mask until it falls off, and you will unlock this trophy so long as your bullet was the one that destroyed the mask.
|Two Birds, One Stone
As the Predator, hit more than 1 Fireteam Member in a single smart disc throw.
This trophy is unlocked after you have successfully hit more than 1 Fireteam member with a single smart disc throw.
To go for this trophy, you must first unlock the smart disc by reaching level 27. Once you reach level 27, go to the customization tab from the main menu to equip the gear item. This trophy requires a minimum of 3 players to unlock this trophy. You will need at least one predator, and two FT members. This trophy can also easily be earned in a private match with friends. Simply start up a game as predator with the smart disc equipped, and then you are ready to attempt this trophy.
When you throw the smart disc, you are able to maneuver it around by using the . This makes things easier if the FT members you are trying to hit are not standing in a straight line. If you are playing with friends, just have them stand right next to each other so you can easily hit them with a single throw. You do not need to down the enemies, simply hitting at least two of them with a single throw will be enough to unlock the trophy.
This trophy also unlocks as soon as you complete the task so if it doesn’t pop after you throw it, you must not have hit the two FT members.
As a Fireteam member, shoot down 100 Tree cover branches.
This trophy is unlocked after shooting down 100 tree cover branches while playing as a Fireteam member.
Tree cover branches are the branches on the big trees that the Predator is able to jump and run across. To destroy these, simply shoot at them until you see them break off from the tree and fall to the ground. Each branch you shoot will add to the total of branched needed destroyed for this trophy. Each tree will also have a few branches you are able to shoot to add to your total as well.
This trophy can be earned in private or quickplay matches, or a combination of the two. This trophy can even be earned while playing by yourself in a private match. Just start up a game as a FT member and shoot branches in trees while you play. It only takes a few bullets for the branch to be destroyed. Once the branch is destroyed, the predator will no longer be able to use it. If you are shooting branches while going for your other trophies, then you will eventually unlock this trophy.
If you start up a game by yourself just to shoot at tree branches, then you can likely unlock this trophy in just 2-3 games. This trophy will also only unlock at the end of the game that it is earned in. Be sure to not quit in the middle of a match, otherwise you will lose any progress that was made in that match. Once you have successfully shot down a total of 100 branches while playing as a FT member, you will unlock this trophy.
|So Close, Yet So Far…
As the Predator, kill the entire Fireteam while they are waiting for the exfiltration chopper.
This trophy is unlocked after you kill and entire Fireteam while they are waiting for the exfiltration chopper while playing as Predator.
This trophy can only be earned while playing as predator, and can be done in either a private or quickplay match. The trophy can even be earned in a 1v1 match so long as one person is Predator and the other is a FT member. Start up a match as predator and allow the FT to complete all of their missions in the game. Their final mission will be to get to the exfil site and wait for the chopper. As soon as they put the flare down, a marker will show up on your screen indicating where they are.
Once this marker pops up on your screen you will have a total of 1 minute until the chopper arrives. You will also have an additional 30 seconds once the chopper arrives to kill them before they get on the chopper / before they leave. Head to the exfil site and start to kill the entire enemy team while they are waiting for the chopper. Make sure that they put the flare down first otherwise the kill will not count. If there are 4 FT members, you will need to down and kill each and every one of them while they are waiting for the chopper to arrive. If there is only 1 FT member, the trophy will still unlock as long as they are also killed while waiting for the chopper to arrive.
Once they are down, continue to attack them and not let them bleed out. If anyone escapes or is already dead when the chopper is called, the trophy will not unlock. If someone is dead, make sure they are reinforced back into the game before the chopper is called. After killing every FT member while they are waiting for the chopper, you will unlock this trophy.
