Introduction:
Welcome to the Overcooked 2 – Carnival of Chaos DLC Trophy Guide!
In the fourth and final paid DLC for Overcooked 2, players celebrate their victory over the Unbread with a carnival, complete with plenty of delicious and unhealthy fair food, and the last few trophies for 100%!
Roadmap:
Step 1: Complete all Levels With 3 Stars
Just like the other DLC packs, your main goal will be to complete all 12 normal levels with three stars. And, once again, the Kevin levels are not required.
You’ll be earning these trophies: Big Topping
The Breaded Lady
Mealer Dealer
Fast Foodie
Carnival of Chaos
Step 2: Miscellaneous Trophies
With all the levels 3 starred, you will now need to go back and grind out a couple of miscellaneous trophies if they have not already been earned.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: Cannoned Goods
Condiment Connoisseur
Tips and Strategies:
Carnival of Chaos is the final piece of paid DLC for Overcooked 2. Following the chef’s victory over the Unbread in the third DLC, the Onion King and Kevin have been allowed to return from their exile. To celebrate, everyone heads to a carnival to cook up some classic carnival dishes.
Carnival of Chaos introduces a lot of new stuff into the game. There are a ton of new recipes this time around (Meal Deals, Donuts, and Hot Dogs), a new form of movement (Cannons), a condiment dispenser for hot dogs, and a new soda fountain, which surprisingly doesn’t have any related trophies. The soda fountain works the same way as the hot dog condiment dispenser, with a button located somewhere in the kitchen used to change the soda flavor between green, red, and yellow.
Speaking of trophies, this DLC is noticeably tougher than the first two, and on par with or perhaps a little harder than Hangry Horde. This is usually due to many of the levels having very high score requirements relative to the layout and amount of time provided. Also, the Meal Deal has so many different combinations that any level where it is served can be a challenge. You will need luck with what kinds of orders you get, and will need to learn some of the levels quite well. If you choose to do everything in co-op, then precise movement, defined roles, and great communication will be required. You should definitely consider doing this DLC with a mixture of solo and co-op. While chopping takes longer solo, the score requirements are almost always 400-500 points lower, a significant difference.
The DLC is accessed from the “Extras” tab on the main menu, bringing the player to a new world map.
General Tips
- On some levels, the timer will not start counting down until you deliver your first meal. On these levels, you can prepare extra meals and chop tons of ingredients to more easily reach your score goals.
- Don’t be afraid to use the floor! Some levels have very limited counter space, so feel free to use the floors to store extra ingredients without punishment.
- You should usually try to deliver the orders in the order that they appear on top of the screen. This will increase your combo meter and provide more points for each delivery. The meter resets if you deliver the wrong order, or don’t finish one in time.
- Contrary to the previous tip, if you see that you are within one order of getting three stars and won’t have time to finish the next order, feel free to complete an easier one to grab the last few necessary points.
- You can earn trophies and trophy progress from the base game while playing the DLC.
- A number of levels will probably take multiple tries to master, so use the first try or two to learn the layout of the kitchen and how the gimmicks work. Also, you will sometimes get the same exact orders in consecutive playthroughs, making high scores easier.

![]() ![]() Deliver every type of meal in Carnival of Chaos |
Like the first two DLCs, you are pretty much guaranteed to deliver every type of meal by the time you have completed every level, most likely somewhere in world 3.
There are a total of 14 different meals to serve in this DLC, though the two meal deals have a lot of potential ingredient combinations:
- Beef Meal Deal: combine a chopped and cooked steak with a bun and the one or two indicated side items. There are six possible side items: potatoes, onions, cheese, yellow soda, green soda, and red soda. The side dishes must be chopped and cooked in a deep fryer. The sodas are poured from the level’s soda fountain, with the flavor being changed by a button. There are 15 different variations of this meal (Onion, Cheese, Potato, Onion + Cheese, Onion + Potato, Cheese + Potato, Cheese + Soda, Potato + Soda, Onion + Soda).
- Chicken Meal Deal: same as the beef meal deal but use a chopped and cooked chicken burger instead of beef. There are 15 total variations of this meal as well.
- Cheese Pizza: combine a chopped dough, cheese, and tomato then cook in a pizza oven.
- Hot Dog: cook a hot dog in a pot and combine with a chopped bun.
- Ketchup Hot Dog: same as a normal hot dog but add ketchup from the dispenser.
- Mustard Hot Dog: same as a normal hot dog but add mustard from the dispenser.
- Onion Hot Dog: same as a normal hot dog but add a chopped and cooked onion.
- Everything Hot Dog: same as a normal hot dog but add both ketchup and mustard from the dispenser.
- Jelly Donut: combine a flour, egg, and a chopped raspberry in a blender, then cook in a deep fryer.
- Chocolate Donut: combine a flour, egg, and a chopped chocolate in a blender, then cook in a deep fryer.
- Honey Donut: combine a flour, egg, and a chopped honey in a blender, then cook in a deep fryer.
- Chicken Burrito: combine a tortilla with cooked rice and a chopped and cooked piece of chicken.
- Beef Burrito: combine a tortilla with cooked rice and a chopped and cooked steak.
- Mushroom Burrito: combine a tortilla with cooked rice and a chopped and cooked mushroom.
![]() ![]() Get 3 stars on every level in Carnival of Chaos World 1 |
For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Carnival of Chaos World 1. While the world is generally not too difficult, being a tutorial, some of the levels have pretty high score requirements given the short amounts of time you often get. Level 1-3 is the toughest, due to the kitchen being very big and some of the orders being very complicated.
Below you will find a table of the scores needed to get 3 stars on every level in solo or 2 player mode. If you are playing with 3 or 4 players, the scores will be even higher, and the kitchens can become more crowded and confusing.
Note: you do not have to do the Kevin levels to earn any of the DLC trophies. To unlock Kevin 1, you will need to get a score of 400 in solo or 500 in co-op in level 1-3, which is guaranteed to unlock by getting 3 stars.

For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Carnival of Chaos World 2. Despite the scores being pretty high, world 2 isn’t really much of a problem. The gimmicks aren’t too complicated, so as long as you can handle some of the tougher recipes you should be fine.

![]() ![]() Get 3 stars on every level in Carnival of Chaos World 3 |
For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Carnival of Chaos World 3. This is one of the toughest worlds in the entire game. Every kitchen has a high score requirement for three stars, and some have very complicated gimmicks. It is likely you will need to do some of these levels solo, due to the scores being a lot lower. These kitchens will require some practice and quite a bit of patience.
To unlock Kevin 3, you will need to get a score of 450 in solo or 600 in co op in level 3-3, which will come naturally while getting 3 stars.

Meal Deals

A very small kitchen with holes in the ground around the cutting boards, fryers, and stoves. This kitchen also tends to constantly give complicated (4 ingredient) meal deals. The 2 player score is insanely high, so it is highly recommended to do this level solo. Will require a good bit of luck with what kind of orders you get on any run, and losing just one order will probably warrant a restart.

Hot Dogs
|
One of the most complicated kitchens in the game. The kitchen has four small outer chambers and a large central area. The top right chamber has donut ingredients and a cannon, the top left has hot dog ingredients and a cannon, the bottom right has the order window and a portal, and the bottom left has the sink and a portal. The central area has all the kitchen appliances and the ketchup/mustard dispenser. The player(s) in the outer chambers will constantly have to launch from one location to another, while the player(s) in the center should handle chopping and cooking. Consider preparing multiple donuts at the beginning so that you won’t often have to return to that chamber. Getting to the sink is complicated, so make as few trips as possible. If you are constantly getting only one of each food type in a row, you may have to restart. However, this level is actually not too hard solo due to the low score.

A square kitchen with a central platform containing a lever and counter space. The lever moves the rest of the floor into position, giving you access to about half the kitchen at any time. Try to stockpile a lot of chopped ingredients at the beginning so you don’t have to move the floor as much.

![]() ![]() Fire a Chef from a Cannon 100 times |
The cannon is introduced in level 1-2 as a new method of transportation. To use it, have one chef get inside while another hits a nearby button with a star in the middle. It is used to get your chefs to hard to reach locations that usually contain the ingredients, order window, or one of the kitchen appliances.
While 100 launches isn’t that high of a number, the cannon doesn’t appear in many levels, so you will probably need to grind out a few launches. To do this, load up level 1-2 in solo and continuously place one chef in the cannon and launch them. Repeat this for a few minutes until the trophy pops.
![]() ![]() Add mustard or ketchup to a recipe 100 times |
Mustard and ketchup are toppings for hot dogs, and are first introduced in level 1-4. On hot dog levels, you will find a large dispenser with a red or yellow light on top. The light indicates which topping is selected, and is changed by hitting a button somewhere on the stage. Not all hot dogs will require mustard or ketchup, while some will require both.
Adding these toppings 100 times is pretty straightforward, but unfortunately, you can’t add them unless the hot dog is already on a plate. You may manage to get this trophy by the time you have gotten 3 stars on each level, but if you don’t, simply load up level 1-4 and continuously send out hot dogs on plates with ketchup or mustard. It doesn’t matter if the orders fail, just putting the topping on gives you progress. Repeat this level a few times until the trophy unlocks.
