Roadmap:

Step 1: Complete all Levels With 3 Stars
The majority of your time in this DLC will be spent obtaining 3 stars on all 12 standard DLC levels. The three Kevin levels are not required for any trophies.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Gold Cooked Off!
Silver Full Mashings

Bronze S’more Than a Feeling
Bronze The Greasy Spoon
Bronze Specials Board

Step 2: Miscellaneous Trophies
With all levels 3 starred, you will now need to go back and clean up a couple of easy but grindy miscellaneous trophies.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Bronze Tree Hater
Bronze Backpack Hijack

Tips and Strategies:

The second paid DLC for Overcooked 2 has arrived in the form of a relaxing camping trip. The Onion King and Kevin are still exiled despite the events of the first DLC, so the plan is to continue cooking and impressing the cooking council with new campfire themed recipes!

Just like Surf n Turf, this DLC introduces a bunch of new recipes (related to S’mores and Breakfast Plates), a new way of obtaining ingredients (Backpacks), and a new cooking method (Wood Powered Campfires). The DLC is intended to be played after the base game, and is definitely a bit of a step up in difficulty. You will find a few tough levels, mostly due to their gimmicks or high score requirements, and the new backpack and cooking methods can be quite annoying on some levels. There are also a total of three Kevin levels this time, though none of them are required.

It is highly recommended to play this DLC with a combination of solo and 2 player. Although the scores in solo are generally a lot lower, you chop ingredients much slower. Any more than two players and the kitchen will become more chaotic and cluttered, with good communication becoming a necessity.

The DLC is accessed from the “Extras” tab on the main menu, bringing the player to a new world map.

General Tips

  • On some levels, the timer will not start counting down until you deliver your first meal. On these levels, you can prepare extra meals and chop tons of ingredients to more easily reach your score goals.
  • Don’t be afraid to use the floor! Some levels have very limited counter space, so feel free to use the floors to store extra ingredients without punishment.
  • You should usually try to deliver the orders in the order that they appear on top of the screen. This will increase your combo meter and provide more points for each delivery. The meter resets if you deliver the wrong order, or don’t finish one in time.
  • Contrary to the previous tip, if you see that you are within one order of getting three stars and won’t have time to finish the next order, feel free to complete an easier one to grab the last few necessary points.
  • You can earn trophies and trophy progress from the base game while playing the DLC.
  • A number of levels will probably take multiple tries to master, so use the first try or two to learn the layout of the kitchen and how the gimmicks work. Also, you will sometimes get the same exact orders in consecutive playthroughs, making high scores easier.

S’more Than a Feeling
Get 3 stars on every level in Campfire Cook Off World 1

For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Campfire Cook Off World 1. This world heavily serves as a tutorial to the new mechanics of this DLC and shouldn’t present many problems to experienced Overcooked players. Below you will find a table of the scores needed to get 3 stars on every level in solo or 2 player mode. If you are playing with 3 or 4 players, the scores will be even higher, and the kitchens can become more crowded and confusing.

Note: you do not have to do the Kevin levels to earn any of the DLC trophies. To unlock Kevin 1, you will need to get a four meal combo on level 1-3, which will probably come naturally while getting 3 stars.

Level Solo  2 Player  Dishes Gimmicks
1-1 280 700 Plain S’mores
Chocolate S’mores
A very simple kitchen with four campfires and easy recipes, also introduces Wood Burning.
1-2 340 780 Plain S’mores
Chocolate S’mores
Banana S’mores
Another simple kitchen with no real gimmicks aside from using campfires.
1-3 400 900 Cheese Pizza
Olive Pizza
Laid out in a large square with a somewhat high score requirement, also introduces Backpacks.
1-4 420 1100 All Pancakes The top and bottom counters containing the blenders and burners respectively move left and right every 20-30 seconds.
Kevin 1 420 600 N/A The map is divided into four quadrants with two portals and various cooking tools in each.

Here is a link to a playlist from MixarThe of two players obtaining four stars on every level in the DLC. You only need to get 3 stars, so you can move a little slower or make an occasional mistake and still succeed.

The Greasy Spoon
Get 3 stars on every level in Campfire Cook Off World 2

For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Campfire Cook Off World 2. This is where the difficulty will begin to increase, with a number of new dishes that can become confusing and somewhat higher scores on levels with tougher layouts.

To unlock Kevin 2, you will need to get a five meal combo on level 2-3, which will probably come naturally while getting 3 stars.

Level Solo 2 Player Dishes Gimmicks
2-1 400 780 Breakfast Plates (2 Ingredients) The burners and sink are on an elevated platform, above the ingredients and cutting boards. All dishes are only 2 ingredients.
2-2 400 800 Breakfast Plates Requires the usage of backpacks for sausages and salmon, and the kitchen is rather large with cooking tools spread out. The breakfast plates will now have 3 or sometimes 4 ingredients.
2-3 360 900 All S’mores Each side of the kitchen has two campfires, the S’mores are more complicated, and wood and marshmallows can only be grabbed from backpacks.
2-4 260 440 Breakfast Plates The kitchen has two sides separated by a river. The river will constantly have rafts on it that must be used to cross as well as deliver meals.
Kevin 2 580 740 N/A The kitchen has two sets of counters that are switched by hitting the buttons; one set contains three cutting boards and ingredients, the other contains the plates, blenders, and steamers.

Specials Board
Get 3 stars on every level in Campfire Cook Off World 3

For this trophy, you will need to earn three stars in each of the four levels of Campfire Cook Off World 3. World 3 is tough, especially 3-4, and will require very good communication with your partner(s) or a lot of skill if you are playing solo. You will also need some luck when it comes to what kind of orders you are given on any run.

To unlock Kevin 3, you will need to get a score of 600 in solo or 800 in co-op on level 3-3. This is one of the tougher Kevin levels to unlock, as the score is far higher than what is needed to get three stars on 3-3, and will come down to skill and luck with the types of orders you get.

Level Solo 2 Player Dishes Gimmicks
3-1 680 1040 All Pancakes
All Cakes
The score is kind of high but the gimmick is simple, with the three counters containing the ingredients and cutting boards shifting every 30 seconds.
3-2 460 800 All Pizzas All the ingredients enter the kitchen through conveyor belts on the left side.
3-3 380 580 All S’mores Four wood burners and backpacks for wood and marshmallows, the 3 star score isn’t too hard but unlocking the Kevin level is much tougher. The backpacks contain the marshmallows and wood, both critical to succeeding at this level. Try piling up tons of ingredients at the beginning from the two backpacks so you don’t spend too much extra time sprinting after one another.
3-4 360 780 Breakfast Plates A very long level with a high score requirement, the platform you are on will float away at two different times, taking you and your dishes with it. Comes down heavily to luck of which orders you get and is very tough to do in co-op due to the relatively high score requirements.
Kevin 3 580 1060 N/A Three conveyor belts take up a majority of the kitchen and dispense all the ingredients.

Here is a link to a playlist from MixarThe of two players obtaining four stars on every level in the DLC. You only need to get 3 stars, so you can move a little slower or make an occasional mistake and still succeed.

Tree Hater
Burn 300 pieces of wood

Starting on the first level of the DLC, you will be introduced to a new cooking method. In many of these levels, you will find fire pits with racks over them; they will not cook anything without fuel. To fuel these fires, you will need to collect and chop wood like any other ingredient, then put it in the fire pit. The heat will initially cook the dishes faster than a normal stove, but will soon slow down and eventually stop cooking altogether when the wood runs out.

For this trophy, you will need to burn a total of 300 pieces of wood. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t keep track of how much wood you have burned, so you will have to keep track manually or grind away until it unlocks. You likely will not have this trophy by the time you 3 star every level, so load up the very first level and keep chopping and burning wood until it unlocks. On this level, you can chop the wood, and immediately throw it into a fire pit with no other obstacles. It is recommended to do this with a second player/controller in order to chop the wood a lot faster.

You can somewhat combine this trophy with Bronze Backpack Hijack by replaying level 3-3, as wood is obtained from backpacks on this level.

Backpack Hijack
Take 500 items from backpacks

Backpacks are introduced in level 1-3. They function just like any other ingredient boxes, but must be worn by a player to be used. Backpacks usually contain two of the most important ingredients in a level, such as marshmallows in s’more based kitchens. This simply adds a small layer of complexity to acquiring ingredients, which can be negated with good communication with your partner(s). If you are playing solo, then you don’t have to worry about the other player running away while you try to grab an ingredient.

For the trophy, you need to take a total of 500 items from backpacks. The game does not keep track of your progress, so you will either need to keep a manual tally, or grind away until the trophy unlocks. It is very unlikely that you will have earned this trophy by the time you 3 star every level, so load up 1-3 and spend a few minutes taking ingredients; this is one of those levels where the timer doesn’t start until you deliver your first meal. Feel free to combine the backpack usage with some trophies from the main game, such as throwing ingredients or putting them in the garbage can.
