Introduction:
Welcome to the MXGP2 – The Official Motocross Videogame Compact Trophy Guide!
Milestone have been making a habit of bringing “compact” versions of their releases. MXGP2 – The Official Motocross Videogame Compact is no different to other MXGP & MotoGP Compact games that have also been released.
MXGP2 – The Official Motocross Videogame Compact serves as an introduction to the full game; giving players the ability to try out some of the main game modes. This is by far the easiest “Compact” game that Milestone have made, because all trophies can be earned on Easy Difficulty and you also have the ability to use flashbacks via .

Simply complete 6 Quick Races with the other different bike manufacturers than the one used in Step 1 and to speed up time ensure that you set the laps to minimum (3). You will need to win each race, but if the difficulty is set to Easy you should have no issues.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

Trophy Guide:
![]() ![]() Complete your first multiplayer race |
Head over to Multiplayer, from the Main Menu and select Online Race. All you need to do is finish the race, as position does not matter for this.
![]() ![]() Get a Holeshot in any game mode |
The Holeshot is awarded to the individual that gets to the inside of the first corner of the first lap and comes out of it in the lead. This may be the only trophy you do not get by playing Quick Race, as this option places you in the worst possible place on the grid. To overcome this it is advised to play one session where the Race Session is set to Qualifying and Races. This will enable you to qualify in a much better position, thus giving you a more beneficial position on the grid. If you do not get the Holeshot, simply Restart the race and try again. A little tip on the start is to hold &
, then release
as soon as the gates drop.
![]() ![]() Win a race with Pro Physics |
The only difference between Pro Physics and the Base option is the Joint Brakes function. Pro Physics will automatically turn joint brakes off, but will not make a significant difference to your gameplay. You will need to win one race with this selected within the Race Options to be awarded this trophy. If you are struggling, try practicing with the Base setup on your favorite track and when you are comfortable switch it to the Pro Physics.
