Introduction:
Welcome to the MotoGP™19 Trophy Guide!
MotoGP™19 is without doubt the hardest MotoGP™ game to date. Some of the most challenging aspects of this game come within the Historic Challenges, as they are extremely tight time wise and some are almost luck based with the way in which the AI interacts with the game.
Once you have mastered the Historic Challenges don’t think that you have finished with the challenge of this game, as you will now have to play Pro Career Mode.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Historic Challenges
There are 60 challenges total that you need to obtain Gold Standard in, with the majority of them being fairly difficult. There are a few that seem to be extremely difficult, with “Lorenzo, Star at Home” seemingly the hardest.
Under 2-stroke Hero,
The End of an Era,
From dawn to dusk &
Unrivalled you will find videos of the Gold Standard being achieved on all the challenges within the relevant category.
You’ll be earning these trophies: The Birth of a Hero
2-stroke Hero
From dusk until dawn
From dawn to dusk
The Start of a New Era
The End of an Era
The First Duel
Unrivalled
Historical Silver
A Historic Success
Step 2: Online
Online is pretty simple again this year following on from the random online lobbies introduced in MotoGP™18, as you are able to race the 3 laps of your preferred track with only 1 boosting partner.
If you get into another lobby bare in mind that on this version you do not actually have to complete the race for it too count. You only have to still be within the lobby when the countdown timer at the end of the race finishes.
If you are struggling to find a boosting partner feel free to head over to our Discord to find a very helpful group of gamers!
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: Online Debut
Online Expert
Online Veteran
Step 3: Time Attack
You’ll need to complete 20 valid Time Attack Laps. Pick your favourite track and simply glide around without touching too many kerbs and going off track to quickly complete this mode.
You may get lucky with these trophies, as both popped for me after completing 1 valid lap in Time Attack.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: The Stuff of Test Riders
Record Hunter
Step 4: Career Mode (Optional to Complete the MotoGP™ Championship)
I highly advise that you complete the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup Championship, Moto3™ Championship & Moto2™ Championship within a standard Career first, as these will be much easy outside the Career Pro mode. You are free to complete the MotoGP™ Championship also, however you have to win this within the Career Pro mode so would be time wasted.
I would suggest leaving the practice sessions out of this step and focus purely on Qualifying & Race to save time. You may wish to turn Qualifying off once you have achieved Faster than a Cheetah.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: Victory in the Moonlight
Victory and BBQ
Texan Triumph
Spanish Victory
A picture perfect race
Arrabbiata to start
In control in Catalunya
The University of 2 wheels
A big race
No thoughts, just gas
Put on a show in Spielberg
Silverstone has a new King
Tricolore Victory
Seal of Aragon
Racing to the East
In the land of the Rising Sun
Triumph in the wind
Malayan Tiger
Made in Valencia
Model Employee
A Reliable Rider
Stopwatch Wizard
Employee of the Month
Faster than a Cheetah
A lion on two wheels
Red Bull World Champion
Moto3™ World Champion
Moto2™ World Champion
Step 5: Career Pro Mode
If you have played any MotoGP™ games in the past you may be familiar with how Pro Physics work; however, the challenge still exists that you will need to Win a MotoGP™ Championship in Career Pro mode. This is a massive challenge with Pro Physics, No Rewinds, No Restarts & More. The only saving grace is that you can back-up your save after each session and close the game if you are failing your current race.
You are only required to win the MotoGP™ Championship within this mode, so head straight into that one and do you best within one of the Satellite Teams to earn a seat on one of the better bikes.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies: Get ready to race
Qualifying 1 to Qualifying 2
World Champion
World Champion Pro
Step 6: Custom Championship / Grand Prix
This is where you will want to clean up those track related trophies that you didn’t win during your Career Mode. You will also need to include the 3 tracks that are not part of the official MotoGP™ Calendar, as they did not feature in any other mode that would enable you to obtain the trophy.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies: A victory to remember
Union Jack
Monster of the Laguna
MotoGP™ Hero
Tips and Strategies:
This guide was completed whilst playing on Version 1.17. There are reports that the game has changed significantly pre update, so some things may not be the same for you if you are playing an earlier version of the game.
I highly suggest that you purchase the MotoGP™19 – VIP Multiplier Pack; it is only £3.99 and it offers “doubles reputation and development points earned in Career”.
There is a could chance that you will need this, as the game is hard and “by increasing your reputation, you will be more likely to receive offers from better teams. Also “by increasing the development points you obtain during Career, you can improve your bike’s technical performance, really taking it to the limit!“
This will assist you greatly in getting World Champion Pro, which is undoubtedly the hardest part of the game when it comes to winning a Championship. All the other Championships’ can be competed on Easy & with Rewinds enabled, so completing them should be no issues.
When it comes to the Historic Challenges, these are more about perseverance than anything else. They are not overly difficult and should not be feared.
I have included videos of all Gold Standard Awards for all Historic Challenges in the trophy descriptions below.
Yamaha Set-Ups
In the below table you will find the Set-Ups for all tracks that I personally used for the Career Pro Mode. These may not be to your liking, but I feel that they could come in handy for some.
The Set-Ups were for a Yamaha MotoGP™ Bike.

![]() ![]() Complete 20 valid laps in Time Attack mode |
Head into “Quick Modes”, “Prova A Tempo” and set up with your favourite track & bike settings. There is no time limit here, so you can just take your time and glide around.
Not every kerb will invalidate a lap when you touch it, but it’s best to stay away from them at all times. Crashing will also invalidate a lap, so make sure you are being careful.
I would suggest that you do complete any invalidated lap, as if you pause and restart it may not count the previous laps.
This trophy (and The Stuff of Test Riders) may be glitched in a good way, as both popped for me after completing 1 Valid Lap whilst offline.
![]() ![]() Complete a Free Practice Session in first place in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode |
Awarded for simply finishing a practice session; you do not have to achieve a specific time/place in the session.
All you will need to do is start one, then advance time or skip to next session.

In order to achieve this you have to finish within the bottom half of the timing sheets based on you collective practice session timings. You then are required to finish within the top 2 times during Qualifying 1 in order to progress to Qualifying 2.
This trophy may be glitched in a good way, as on the version I played this trophy popped for me after progressing automatically to Qualifying 2 based on being top of the timing sheets within the Combined Practice Sessions.

For this trophy you will need to complete 20 Online Races, either through Public or Private Races.
It is highly suggested that you find yourself a boosting partner for this one and play in Private Races, as these kinds of games tend to become dead online pretty quickly.
Once you’ve got your boosting partner head into Private Race and select Germanys’ Sachsenring, as this track has the fastest lap times of all the tracks in the MotoGP calendar, set the distance to 15% and cruise around with your buddy.
You do not need to finish the races in order for them to count, you only need to be within the lobby at the end of the 40 seconds countdown once someone has finished the race.
If you are struggling to find a boosting partner feel free to head over to our Discord to find a very helpful group of gamers!

Slightly different to previous years as these Championship specific trophies can be completed in any order. You have the option to select any championship to enter once you start out you standard career, which means that as soon as the trophy pops you’ll be able to quit and start a new career in the relevant championship you want to do next.
You have the option however to move up through the classes, as you will be offered a new contract with a different team/class once the season has finished. This also offers the possibility of receiving a better bike for the upcoming season.
Important – You need to resist the urge to climb to the Moto2™ Championship quickly. You will be given the option after 6 & 12 Moto3™ races to change teams, which may also include a Moto2™ team. If this is accepted you will need to do another season in the Moto3™ class to unlock Moto3™ World Champion.
The trophy will be awarded once you have sufficient points to be at the top of the championship after the 18 races and it is mathematically impossible for anyone else to match your points total.
As with the race specific trophies this can be completed on Easy & minimum lap races with all the options added that you feel the need for.

![]() ![]() Win the Gold medal in all Historic Challenges in the basic game |
There are 60 challenges total that you need to obtain Gold Standard in, with the majority of them being fairly difficult. There are a few that seem to be extremely difficult, with “Lorenzo, Star at Home” seemingly the hardest.
Under 2-stroke Hero,
The End of an Era,
From dawn to dusk &
Unrivalled you will find videos of the Gold Standard being achieved on all the challenges within the relevant category.
Annoyingly at first the game takes you back to the challenge screen after achieving your fastest lap/best result, however in the time trial ones this proves to be something that is good for you, as later when you are trying to improve on times you are able to continue doing laps over and over to get a rhythm until you beat your current fastest lap.
During races you are able to occasionally manoeuvre your opponent into a racing line that will force them to go wide on certain corners, thus increasing your chances of beating the required timings.
I would suggest that patience & perseverance is the key here, as all can be beaten in time and with a little bit of luck. Personally I was mentally noting down my sector timing splits and using those as markers on how I was performing.
I have also included an individual video of the acclaimed “hardest challenge” below.
![]() ![]() Win a MotoGP™ Championship in Career Pro mode |
You will need to ensure that you are comfortable on each track before entering the Qualifying & Race, otherwise you are just going to get eaten up by the competition as soon as you start out.
Annoying at first, but having the ability to close the game down and restart the game if you mess up and are having a bad race; this will set you back to the beginning of the session that you were participating previously (It could also be the saving grace as you are actually able to “restart”).
To begin with this seems extremely hard, however as you progress and upgrade your bike it does get a lot easier to get the hang of it. I recommended upgrading you Anti-Wheelie & Traction Control as quickly as possible and you should have no issues once you have got to the 4th/5th races when it comes to controlling the bike.
Personally I did all the Development Tests within FP1 and then skipped onto Qualifying and the the Race. I did not participate in FP2/FP3 unless it was raining in FP1.
The Development Test within Free Practice are critical to making your bike more stable and you will need to do them if you want to increase your chances of winning. There is no real need to change teams/bikes, as with the Petronas Yamaha I was still able to get victories.
To make things as easy as possible ensure that you have the Race Length at 50% (minimum at the time of playing) and the Difficulty set to 70%.
You can also find a table of the bike Set Ups I used during my playthrough on the Petronas Yamaha in the Tips Section at the top of the guide.
