Introduction:
Welcome to the Luckslinger Trophy Guide!
Developed by Duckbridge and published to consoles by 2Awesome Studios, Luckslinger is an old school 2D scroller Shoot em’ Up with a difference.
The game itself is a nice short easy platinum, with some very interesting music that will keep you entertained throughout.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Play through “New School” and Kill the Boss + One Ending
You will need to make your way through the few short levels and defeat the boss at the end, before having to make a XMB quit of the game in order to get both endings, without playing the full game twice. There are save points look like old record players and you progress will be saved and you will return to that place automatically.
The only other thing worth pointing out is that when you first enter Clovercreek after the first level you will need to read the wanted poster and turn it over. After that you’ll need to jump on the horse to the right and continue right to progress onto the next level.
All other trophies (apart from Gold digger &
Sing along) should come naturally as you play as they are related to dying, collecting certain things & killing a certain amount of enemies.
Once you have beaten the boss at the end of level 2 make sure you carry him alive back to town and proceed to the next step.
You’ll be earning these trophies: Make it rain
Wanted
Collectionist
Three times lucky
On a spree!
Pokerface
Keep the change
Gold digger
Serial killer!
Just b-b-b-beat it
Step 2: Endings + Win the Dual
You can obtain both of the relevant ending on one playthrough by utilizing a USB, or PS Cloud save, as long as you quit to the XMB straight after entering Clovercreek for the second time (whilst carrying the boss) and before obtaining the first ending trophy. Do not pause and quit back to the Main Menu before exiting to the XMB.
After you have got the second ending head to the left of the screen and challenge the Cowboy to a dual.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: Justice in your own hands
12 feet deep
Sing along
Platinum
Controls:
/ Move
/ Roll
/ Jump
/ Shoot
/ Reload
/ Throw Knife

Get all the trophies.
The video below shows a full playthrough including both endings. It also shows you where to obtain the deaths trophies quickly, if you need to purposely get them. – Make sure to die 10 times where I show an example of 3 in the video (05:17).

This will come naturally as you play, as there are more than enough enemies along your route to the Boss.
This is also accumulative, so if you die you have another opportunity to kill some more enemies.

Gold Bullets are obtained by picking them up from dead enemies and then are automatically added to your chamber when you reload within the six shooter. The first time one of these works it way round into the chamber and you fire you will obtain this trophy.

![]() ![]() Win music duel |
You can take part in the musical dual by challenging the stranger that is hanging around on the left side of town.
The aim here is to be the fastest on the draw and shoot your opponent before you are shot yourself.
Your trusted Duck will set the music on and then fly right and back to the left. It is advised that you have the sound on for this challenge, as the music stopping is you queue to shoot with the .
![]() ![]() Beat a boss |
You reach the boss fight at the end of what is Level 2 just after a save point. There is nothing to difficult about the boss, as his only form of attack is to throw dynamite at you, which can be avoided by jumping when it hits the ground, or by moving out of the way of the drop area.
The fight will evolve with some dynamite being thrown along the floor which will destroy the rock underneath you, so for this you’ll just need to jump between platforms to avoid the falling dynamite.
Make sure to Carry the Boss Alive by standing to the left of him to take him back to town.
![]() ![]() Bury a boss |
Once you have defeated the boss you’ll have to carry him back into town and decide his fate. Move along to the right where you will find the Sherriff’s Office and decide if you want to Jail him, or Bury Him.
You can obtain both of the relevant endings on one playthrough by utilizing a USB, or PS Cloud save, as long as you quit to the XMB once you see the save activation after entering Clovercreek for the second time and before obtaining the first “ending” trophy. Do not pause and quit back to the Main Menu before exiting to the XMB.

A Gold Bar can be obtained by winning the “Russian Roulette” at the Stagecoach within Level 2. This will cost you a few dollars to play, but keep doing so until the unfortunate guy shoots himself. You’ll then be able to grab the Gold Bar.
You also get the opportunity to obtain a Gold Bar after each of the “Endings” needed for the Platinum, as the Boss will drop one when you either bury him, or put him in jail.
![]() ![]() Die 3 times |
I’m sure you’ll get this trophy without any problems… The save points look like old record players and you progress will be saved and you will return to that place automatically.
I have shown the best place to farm deaths in the video at the top of the guide at (05:17).
![]() ![]() Collect a vinyl |
A “Vinyl” is a collectible that is place within the level. They are not too hard to miss, however they may be slightly off the normal path and may make you make a jump that you would not normally do.
You will encounter your first one just where they show you how to roll for the first time.

This trophy is different to the Xbox Achievements version, as you will need to play cards with the Indian in the Tepee for this one. If playing for Achievements –
- There are 2 opportunities to obtain this trophy prior to the boss fight. During the second half of the second level you will come across a Tepee with a guy sat out side who will want to challenge you to a card game.
The aim of the card game is to get 3 GREEN cards to win. When you reach the Tepee and keep challenging them until you win. It will cost you 2 Gold Coins for each try.
This is a brilliant guide. Thanks!!!
