How To Unlock Mystery Gifts In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl you don’t unlock the Mystery Gift feature straight away or even come across it if you don’t look for it, so how do you unlock it? Well, follow the following steps and you will be able to unlock the Mystery Gift feature as well as some other goodies through the Mystery Gift system.

1. Defeat the Gymleader Roark in Oreburgh City.
2. Go to Jubilife City and head north to the exit of the city to route 204.
3. Do a story related Double Battle against Team Galactic.
4. Go back to the city and head to the TV station.
5. In the TV station, head to the 2nd floor and talk to the person in the image below.
6. Give him the answer “EVERYONE HAPPY WI-FI CONNECTION”

This will unlock the mystery gift option in your X menu.
