Introduction:
Welcome to the Gravel Trophy Guide!
Welcome to the off-road, dirt track racing game brought too us by Milestone S.r.l.
An amazing experience of close quarters dirt racing that shows us just what it is like to experience these amazing machines, whilst having a whole lot of fun at the same time.
Gravel is a nice chilled racing game that is more fun than a lot of the racing games of this generation. There is nothing too difficult about the game and the trophy list is fairly self explanatory with a nice collection of things that need to be accomplished in order to achieve the Platinum Trophy.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Online
As is the norm with these older titles, I highly suggest that you start off with the online mode to get it out of the way as quickly as possible.
It is highly recommended that you find a boosting partner before heading into this game, so that you can complete the 10 races in a Private Match and select the quickest races manually.
You will have access to the online, or “Multiplayer” once you have completed the first tutorial race.
If you are struggling to find a boosting partner feel free to head over to our Discord to find a very helpful group of gamers!
You’ll be earning these trophies: Hello world!
Online Champion
Step 2: Career Mode / “The Season” / Off-Road Masters
All the same thing, but named differently depending on whether you listen to the dialogue, or look at the screen. This is where you will spend the vast majority of your time playing through the events and ranking up your level, whilst going for enough stars to advance onto the next events.
Stars are awarded based on your finishing position, so you will need to ensure you are finishing first in every race in order to progress quicker. You are required to win them all for Showman.
During this step you’ll earn these trophies: In front of everyone
Full marks
The fans are warming up
Winner!
Top of the class
Survivor
Promoted!
 Always in the lead
40 wheels for me
Just a warning shot
Green wave
 Garage nearly full
 Qualified
Globetrotter
 The real boss
Passport control
 The graduate!
Showman
The new Off-Road Master
All in!
Step 3: Miscellaneous Clean-Up / Level Grind
The majority of these trophies will probably be earned throughout your Career playthrough, however, if you have not obtained any feel free to check out the individual trophy descriptions in the guide below.
For sure, you would not have earned Beautiful Offside prior to completing the Off-Road Masters portion of the game, so be prepared for 2-3 hours of XP grinding in order to get this one.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies: Timekeeper
3 seconds in heaven!
 Superfast
 Perfect landing!
 Like a train!
 Reckless drifter!
I believe I can fly
Beautiful Offside
Gravel Hero
Tips and Strategies:
Race lengths/laps are dictated by the event so there is no option to change this during your Career Mode. You can however lower the difficulty and adjust any settings you see fit to make things easier for you.Â
You will need to bare in mind that the easier the gameplay options you decide on the longer the grind to level 99 for Beautiful Offside will be post Career clean-up.
For an easier ride I would suggest the following options to be set for your first race and then these can be adjusted as you go along. Personally I increased the difficulty after the first race, as I felt that Easy was just too easy.

In order to win an Elimination Race you must not be in last place when the 30 Second countdown reaches zero. It is ok to be in last place for some time, just not when the countdown is finished.

![]() ![]() Complete all the special episodes |
There are 4 “Special Episodes” (Not to be confused with the “Bonus Episodes” that need to be purchased if you want to do them), that require a certain amount of Stars and achievements in order to unlock them.
Once you have unlocked them you will need to participate in a number of races within, in order to unlock and progress onto the next one available.
- Stadium Circuit Master
- Obtain 10 Stars.
- Wild Rush Master
- Complete Stadium Circuit Master
- Obtain 30 Stars.
- Speed Cross Master
- Complete Wild Rush Master
- Obtain 55 Stars
- Cross Country Master
- Complete Speed Cross Master
- Obtain 80 Stars
Note that you do not need to finish the “Final League” in order to achieve this trophy. It will pop after winning the Head to head Races in the Cross Country Master event.

![]() ![]() Reach Level 50 |
XP is awarded for a number of things including your finishing position, Skidding (Drifting), Jumping & High Speed Racing. The more you link the combinations together the higher you multiplier will climb as you race, which serves as a great way to rank up.
You will lose any multiplier should you crash, so make sure that you are judging your wild racing with clean accurate racing.
The majority of your XP however will be earned by winning races.
As you are required to 3 Star all the Base Game Events for Showman you will reach this target naturally without any problems.
![]() ![]() Maintain “High Speed” for 40 consecutive seconds |
This can be quite a tricky trophy, as there is a good chance that you will spoil your High Speed streak by going over a bump that you did not expect too, or sliding slightly too hard round a corner.
There is also a high degree of personal preference with what car you feel more comfortable with whilst going for the trophy.
In order to give yourself the best possible chance for this head into Time Attack from the Main Menu and go to the first track in Alaska called “Through the Caves”.
From here I personally went with the Abarth 124 Rally car, as it has a low centre of gravity with high acceleration speed. This helped with the cornering and assisted with keeping the car on track rather than allowing it to take off on the jumps.
Each car category has a different threshold where the High Speed bonus will begin. With this particular car you will need to stay above 175 km/h for the bonus to keep rolling.
At around 45% completion of the track is where you will need to begin your attempt on the trophy. You will come round a fairly long left bend and head and will need to line up on the left side for the long right hander approaching. As you enter the caves you want to begin to see your “High Speed” building up within the Bonus bar at the top.
There is a good chance that this streak will be broken by a jump in the caves, but don’t worry too much about this if you still have around the +500 High Speed bonus on the bottom part of the counter when you exit the cave.
You will need to continue at High Speed for the remainder of the track by staying above the threshold (for my example it is 175 km/h), including whilst cornering.
The trophy will pop as soon as the High Speed bonus on the bottom part of the counter hits +4,000.

![]() ![]() Unlock 20 new vehicles from the basic game |
See All in!.
![]() ![]() Unlock all the vehicles in the basic game |
You will earn this trophy automatically whilst going through getting 3 Stars on all the events for Showman.
The last car to unlock will be the Lancia Delta ECV and it is unlocked by Completing the “Special Episode Final League”, which is the last “Head to Head” challenge that you can do.
![]() ![]() Perform a jump which lasts at least 3 seconds |
Within Episode 5 you will have the opportunity to obtain this trophy within the 1st Race in Namibia (Skeleton Coast – Layout 1).
At around 75% complete you will start peaking after heading uphill; this is where you’ll begin to gain speed towards the ramp that is located at around the 85% complete mark.
![]() ![]() Perform at least 3 perfect landings |
What this trophy fails to tell you is that all 3 “Perfect” landings must be earned within a single event. It is however another trophy that you may well earn without even realising, as there are a number of events that you can achieve this on.
Personally I achieved this on Frozen Peak – Mont Blanc – Figure 8 that is featured within Episode 8 as the 3rd event.
Within this event you have 4 laps to land cleanly whilst jumping over the big gorge.
![]() ![]() Unlock all of the liveries in the basic game |
This is earned when you reach Level 99 and unlock the last Livery for the Chevrolet Silverado CK1500. Everything you do in this game gives you XP towards this, so it is entirely up to you how you go about the grind once you have finished the Career portion of the game.
Personally I checked out a number of different “Quick XP”, or “Level Up Fast” suggestions whilst looking for the best way to go about this and for me the quickest (and less boring) was to complete the Championship within Episode 2 “MixTape” over and over again.
Using this method you are able to gain 700,000 XP in around 10 minutes depending on your settings in the Race Options, and if you are winning the 3 events (and therefore the championship also).
Continue doing this for around 2-3 hours and you will finally be able to reach the Level required.
![]() ![]() Complete an online race |
See Online Champion.
![]() ![]() Complete 10 online races |
You will have access to the online once you have completed the first tutorial race. Simply back out from the Off-Road Masters screen to access the “Multiplayer” screen.
From there you can either join a Quick Match, or start up your own Private Match for you and your boosting partner.
Any XP collected her will count towards your goal for Level 99, so it is entirely up to you how you want to go about the Multiplayer. I would however suggest that in order to get this done as quickly as possible all you will need to do is pick any of the short tracks (The Oval in Florida as an example) and complete the races.
If boosting with a partner, or indeed on your own, you will only need to complete the race with one of the cars and then let the 30 second timer run down at the end of the race for it to count for both players. You will not get kicked for your second player being idle.
Using the below settings will take you less than 30 minutes to get this trophy done.
If you are struggling to find a boosting partner feel free to head over to our Discord to find a very helpful group of gamers!
![]() ![]() Complete a race in every different location of the basic game |
There are 18 locations that you will need to race in to earn this trophy and you will earn this trophy automatically whilst going through getting 3 Stars on all the events for Showman.
If following through the events in order it will unlock when you complete the Smash-Up Event at Estering within Episode 11.
![]() ![]() Sustain a drift for at least 7 seconds |
You will most probably need to do this within a Time Attack session, as it is a lot easier to do without the AI on the track.
Head into Time Attack and select the third track within Frozen Peak, as this has the flattest section of a long corner required to achieve this trophy.
Pick yourself a RWD Car to ensure you get a better drift action going (personally I went for the Abarth 124 Rally again) and change the settings within the Race Options to the following –
- Braking Help – Off
- Auto Brakes – Off
- TCS – Off
- Stability Help – Medium
- Transmission – Semi-Automatic
The first corner gives you an ideal place to attempt this trophy, and being as you are in Time Attack you can try over and over without anyone getting in your way.
You may have to overcook the last part of the drift, but stick with it and you will get it.
![]() ![]() Reach 142 mph (230 km/h) |
Can be earned as early as the Championship Race within Episode 2.
The Mini Countyman RX’s are capable of a max speed of 252 km/h and is easily achieved without even noticing on the first track within the Checkpoint Race – Lumber Mill in Alaska.
If you do not get it beforehand there is a long downhill section that is flat out at around 50% of the race which will easily net you this trophy.
![]() ![]() Finish first in a Head to Head race |
The first Head to Head Race will be within the Stadium Circuit Master Challenge that is located just after Episode 2. You will need 10 Stars to unlock this challenge, and it can be completed without any real issues.
As with all these event type trophies you will have multiple opportunities to earn them throughout your playthrough and you are able to lower the difficulty etc. prior to starting any race. You are also able to restart the race from the results screen should you fail in your quest for the win.
![]() ![]() Obtain all the stars in the Off-Road Masters Career mode in the basic game |
You will need to 3 Star all 60 events that feature across the base game in order to obtain this trophy. There is no need to purchase/play the DLC that is offered within the game.
As mentioned in the Tip & Strategies section you are able to complete all events/races on the easiest possible settings, so this is something that will just be a matter of time until you get it.
As you can see in the below screenshots this trophy will unlock upon reaching 180 Stars total and completing all Base Game events (shown at the top of the screen).
![]() ![]() Become the new Off-Road Master |
This event is available after reaching 120 Stars & Completing the “Cross Country Master” for The real boss.
These are the last battles that you will need to participate in and will consist of 5 Races against your main rival Sean Walker. There is nothing different about these events, and as with everything in the game it can be completed on the easiest settings.
![]() ![]() Unlock all the Tracks in the basic game |
You will earn this trophy automatically whilst going through getting 3 Stars on all the events for Showman.
If following through the events in order it will unlock when you complete the Time Attack Event at Frozen Peak – Mount Blanc within Episode 14.
![]() ![]() Obtain a time in Time Attack mode |
From the Main Menu select Time Attack, Florida Stadium and “The Oval” track.
You will need to complete 1 valid lap (which takes about 20 seconds), for time to be registered.
Your trophy will pop once you Quit Session via the .
![]() ![]() Complete a Smash-Up race, hitting only green signs |
The first opportunity to obtain this trophy will come within Episode 3, as the 2nd race within is a Smash-Up race in Alaska. This is a time trial type event where you are joined on the course by randomly generated signs that will flash either a Green Arrow, or Red Cross, with your objective being to hit all of the Green Arrows prior to crossing the finish line. You do not have to win the event for the trophy.
Hitting the Red Cross will slow you down, so stay away from them. It is also worth noting that Flashbacks are not permitted during these events.
As with all these event type trophies you will have multiple opportunities to earn them throughout your playthrough and you are able to lower the difficulty etc. prior to starting any race. You are also able to restart the race from the results screen should you fail in your quest for the win.
![]() ![]() Obtain 3 stars in a Career event |
Can be obtained in your very first event and will be decided based on your finishing position. All you will need to do to achieve it is to make sure you finish in first place.
Remember you can restart the race within the results screen if you fail to finish first, however it is highly likely that you will obtain this throughout the game without even trying.
![]() ![]() Complete any track with a total of 6 seconds flying |
This trophy may be obtained naturally without even trying, as personally I achieved this on the first race within Episode 2 in Namibia by not doing anything special.
I have included my video for you to see if there is anything different to what you would be trying.
