Introduction:
Welcome to the Donut Break Head to Head Trophy Guide!
Our favourite brick breaker devs smobile return with the second instalment of their Head to Head games, and it’s just as fun and easy as the first.
As with their other games, this one has given us an excellent sized trophy list, with almost all of them coming with little to no effort required. There is off course an element of RNG with the trophies, but I will do my best to let you know which levels I obtain the trophies in. Let’s see if you can defeat your enemies..!
Roadmap:
Step 1: Play One Vs. Match
You will need a second controller for this, or the ability to Remote Play with a mobile device.
You do not need to win, or score a certain amount of points, so simply start the 2 player game and purposely control your player 2 to ensure all 5 lives are lost in no time by letting the ball past your paddle.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophy:
Multiplayer level played
Step 2: Play With & Beat 10 Different Characters
During this step you will need to focus on beating 10 opponents for 
10 characters defeated, whilst ensuring you go back to switch character after each victory. This will ensure that you obtain 10 characters played also.
Most of the other trophies will come along the way, however if the RNG gods are not shining on you then you may need to do a bit of miscellaneous clean-up.
Step 3: Miscellaneous Clean-Up
This is where you’ll need to refer to the specific trophy that you are missing within the guide below. I have tried to show the best possible level to obtain the trophy, however with a lot of the trophies you are also able to obtain them on a number of different levels.
During this step you’ll earn all the remaining trophies required for 
Donut Break master.
Tips and Strategies:
A lot of the trophies will need to to collect multiple Power Ups at the same time.
Refer to the trophy descriptions below for the levels that I obtained them in and refer to the instructions listed here for what Power Up means what.

 Fast player Completed a level quickly. |
There is no actual timer within the game, so there is no real way of knowing exactly how much time needs to elapse for this trophy to pop.
I would suggest this will come naturally during a level whilst playing, as there are a number of levels that have many power ups.
Personally I achieved this in my second match Vs. Hana.
 Slow player Completed a level slowly. |
There is no actual timer within the game, so there is no real way of knowing exactly how much time needs to elapse for this trophy to pop.
You will simply need to ensure that you stay one step ahead of your opponent in order to win at the last minute if this trophy does not come naturally.
 Multiplayer level played Played a level in 1P vs 2P mode. |
You will need a second controller for this, or the ability to Remote Play with a mobile device.

You will need to get to 3x speed in order for this trophy to be unlocked, as well as a Blue Roll mini boss to appear during the level.
Personally I achieved this in my third match Vs. Rai.
 Mochi defeated Defeated a Mochi mini boss with fireball. |
For this one you are looking for a Mochi Mini Boss to appear whilst you have the fireball power up running.
Personally I achieved this in my third match Vs. Rai.
 Orange Cake defeated Defeated an Orange Cake mini boss with laser. |
For this one you are looking for a Orange Cake Mini Boss to appear whilst you have the laser power up running.
Personally I achieved this in my second match Vs. Hana.
 Turbo player Hit ball 5 times in turbo paddle mode without losing life. |
Hold 
to make the paddle speed increase and try to bounce the ball 5 times without letting it past you. Very simple to do on the earlier levels.
 Sticky player Caught ball 5 times with sticky paddle without losing life. |
The Sticky Paddle Power Up will let the balls stick to your paddle in order to better select a shot that will be at the angle of your choice. When you have the ball stuck you will need to press the 
button to release the ball back into the play area.
Simply catch the ball (or a combination of) 5 times and fire it back up without loosing a life in between.
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.
 Shielded player Hit ball 5 times with shield (bottom wall) without losing life. |
The Shield Power Up gives you a barrier at the bottom of the screen just in case you let the ball past.
For this trophy you are required to let the bouncing ball hit the barrier 5 times before it expires. When you get this Power Up simply let the ball past you and keep your paddle out of the way.
Personally I achieved this in my third match Vs. Rai.
 Invincible player Survived a mini boss attack through invincible paddle. |
You will need to collect the “Invincible Paddle Power Up” and then let one of the Mini Bosses hit your paddle with the fire shot whilst your paddle is still Yellow for this one.
Personally I achieved this in my third match Vs. Rai.
 Slow and steady Consumed 3 cakes with slow ball without losing life. |
Sometimes a bit tricky as collecting the Slow Ball Power Up will put the speed down to 0.5. thus making it harder to get that ball bouncing up and down enough to destroy the cakes. Fortunately the Power Up cakes also count for this trophy and only require one hit to destroy.
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.
 Auto laser collected Collected auto laser power up. |
As soon as you collect the Laser Power Up you will have the ability to fire with the 
button. Collect 2 of them at the same time and you will not have to press the button at all whilst they are active.
Personally I achieved this in my second match Vs. Hana.
 Double wide paddle collected Stacked up multiple wide paddles in a level. |
You’ll need to have the Wide Paddle Power Up enabled when collecting a second one. The Wide Paddle Power Up increases the size of your paddle and makes it easier to bounce that ball!
Personally I achieved this in my second match Vs. Hana.
 Double fireball collected Stacked up multiple fireballs in a level. |
The Fire Ball Power Up will turn your ball to fire and destroy everything in its path. For this trophy you will need to collect a second one whilst the first is still active.
If you do this successfully the ball will double in size also.
Personally I achieved this in my fifth match Vs. Seina.
 6 balls reached Collected multi ball power ups to reach 6 balls. |
The 3-Ball Power Up is quite a tricky one, as collecting it will give you three ball total to play with. For this trophy you will need to collect 2 of the Power Ups and have them active at the same time, thus giving you 6 balls to effectively control.
Personally I achieved this in my second match Vs. Hana.
 Laser lord Consumed 10 cakes with laser without losing life. |
As soon as you collect the Laser Power Up you will have the ability to fire with rapidly tapping the button. Simply destroy 10 cakes whilst this is active.

 Fireball fury Consumed 10 cakes with fireball without losing life. |
The Fire Ball Power Up will turn your ball to fire and destroy everything in its path. The first time you collect this you will most likely obtain this trophy, as long as you keep the ball alive.
This can be achieved in a high number of levels throughout the playthrough and will most probably come naturally.
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.
 Combo power up collected Collected a combo of 3 or more power ups. |
For this you will need to destroy the power up cakes in quick succession and then collect the power ups that fall whilst others are still active.
Very easy when you obtain the Laser Power Up early in a level, as you can destroy the cakes that you want and collect lots of power ups.
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.

Easier in the beginning levels, as the opponents are easier to begin with. Try not to rush the level and concentrate on collecting all of them, including the ones that fall from the beaten Mini Bosses.
You are allowed to lose a life between collecting these.

You will need to make it through at least one level without letting the Mini Boss shoot your paddle with their fire shot.
Most levels feature Mini Bosses, so you would be earning these one naturally as you play through the 10 levels required
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.
 7 lives win Completed a level with 7 or more lives remaining. |
You start each level with 5 lives and you can gain lives by collecting the “Life Collectible” a couple of times within one level. Lives are also awarded you every 10,000 points obtained.
Personally I achieved this in my first match Vs. Ami.
 High 5 player Consumed a cake at 5x speed. |
Obtaining a 5x speed can be quite tricky, however the trick to speed the ball up is to try and make it move more diagonally than up/down.
Keep playing and you will get more confident with the paddle/ball and then try to catch the ball right on the edge of the paddle to produce a more diagonal movement.
 30K points scored Scored 30000 points in a level. |
This will come naturally as you play. Points are award for breaking cakes and completing the levels as quickly as possible, with more points awarded the quicker you combine and destroy thing whilst completing the level.
You also gain more points at the end of the game based on how many lives you have left.
 Consecutive win Defeated CPU consecutively. |
You’ll need to win 2 matches in a row against the CPU in order for this one to pop.
If you are struggling, then keep practicing different levels until you feel you are getting better at the game and then head back to the first few characters to attempt this trophy.
 5 stars earned Earned total 5 stars in game. |
Accumulative across all levels – Simply obtain 25 stars from completing levels.
 5 coins collected Collected total 5 coins in game. |
Easily obtained naturally as you play through. Coins are collected like Power Ups and are accumulative through out your playthrough.
 3 characters played Completed levels with 3 characters in game. |
You will need to swap characters after defeating each opponent by selecting “Menu” at the end of each match and selecting the next character along.
Don’t worry, as this will not stop any “streak” that you are going for, so do this 3 times for the trophy.
 3 characters defeated Defeated 3 characters in game. |
Simply defeat 3 different characters for the trophy. Selecting Continue at the end of each match will take you to a different opponent, however in order to achieve 10 characters played you will need to swap your own player player before continuing by selecting “Menu” at the end of the match and picking a new character each time.
You will obtain this naturally whilst going for 10 characters played if you win each match, so do not even worry about it.
 Immortal player  Completed a level without losing life. |
You need to complete a level without loosing a life. Simply put, do not let the ball go past you.
 50K points scored Scored 50000 points in a level. |
This will come naturally as you play. Points are award for breaking cakes and completing the levels as quickly as possible, with more points awarded the quicker you combine and destroy thing whilst completing the level.
You also gain more points at the end of the game based on how many lives you have left.
 3 win streak Defeated CPU 3 times in a row. |
You’ll need to win 3 matches in a row against the CPU in order for this one to pop.
If you are struggling, then keep practicing different levels until you feel you are getting better at the game and then head back to the first few characters to attempt this trophy.
