Introduction:

Welcome to the CASE: Animatronics Trophy Guide!
A horror release by Sometimes You.
Red eyes shine from dark corners and the sound of shifting metal echoes through the halls… Someone, Something, is following you. Beware the anima…tronics!

Roadmap:

Step 1: Play through the game while searching all new rooms for the 14 notes.
Complete the few tasks needed to progress the story (I will add a little walkthrough below so you know what to do), the last story-related trophy will actually unlock when you meet the 3rd animatronic the Owl, you don’t even need to complete the game for this platinum! Along the way whenever you enter a new room/area do a search for any notes. They are RNG and note placements will change every play and every death so no guide can tell you were they are, just keep your eye out for them, you only need 14 total so it’s not so bad.

Here you’ll be earning these story-related trophies:

Step 2: Possible note/collectable clean-up. 
By the time you reach the last story-related trophy and the last case file/note (the only note that is not RNG and will always be in the same fixed position on the desk of the Archives room), you should have all trophies and the platinum by now. But if you still don’t have the Gold Elementary, dear Bishop trophy for finding all 14 notes, don’t worry, just loop around searching all areas again, it won’t take long to find the last missing notes. Remember they can respawn anywhere each death. Which can actually be beneficial as sometimes they will just appear in very easy & obvious places!

Tips and Strategies:

Tips for notes/collectables:

  • Notes are RNG and will spawn in different places each play and each death.
  • You need 14 total for the trophies. 
  • Check how many you have at any point by pressing the options button.
  • Always search in these places for them:
  • Desk Drawers.
  • Filing Cabinets.
  • Shelves.
  • Floors.
  • Walls. (Also always check on the wall behind doors for sneaky ones!) 

Tips for enemies:

  • If they see you, expect to die! The game has a very slow turning circle which makes it near impossible to out-run one if you are spotted.
  • When you hear them coming hide under desks, in closets, in lockers, or in small offices with the door closed.
  • Use your tablet to look through rooms to see where the enemies are.
  • Or you can use sound, go by how loud the footsteps you hear are to know when you should hide.
  • The Wolf is a walker, and will continuously patrol the map. You hear his footsteps.
  • The Cat uses the ventilation shafts above and will randomly drop down into rooms. You will hear the cat scurrying above you when you need to hide.
  • The Owl is a static staring enemy. If she is looking at you don’t look away or you will die. She will randomly disappear after a few seconds.

NOTES: I will call rooms by their numbers shown on your tablet.
Do remember to always be looking for notes! Search all new areas and rooms.
Lastly enemy movements are RNG so I cannot help you combat them via text walkthrough, this will just tell you the steps needed to progress the story. If you would like to see how to handle the enemies please see the linked video walkthrough!

Start a new game.
Silver Awakening (1/13)
Go to B6 ‘Controller’s Office’ interact with fusebox.

Pick up TORCH & pick up TABLET from your desk.
Go to Top of C2 corridor to get a DOOR CODE from the Wolf animatronic on the floor.
Go to B6 ‘ Controllers Office’ use your door code.
Gold Meet a Wolf (2/13)
Interact with the fusebox in here.

Answer the phone at top of C2 corridor.
*The Wolf animatronic is now active!*
Turn around and a new door opens for the locker room, go in and hide in a locker till the coast is clear.
Pick up the BLUE KEYCARD from the Shower/Locker room floor.
Gold Blue card (3/13)
Use the blue keycard to enter A4, the next door on the right of the locker room.
Interact with the fusebox.
*The Cat animatronic is now active!*

Go to D2 Storage room and get the LOCKPICK from the safe in the corner, or from the safe on the floor by the door.
*If the safe is not there, get yourself killed which will spawn it when you return.*
Gold Picklock (4/13)
Go to B2 Ben Reilly office and lockpick the door.
Gold Meet a Kitten (5/13)
Interact with the computer and complete the easy match minigame.
Gold Lock Picker (6/13)
Charge your tablet on the desk if you like.
Open the now open filing cabinet and pick up the RED KEYCARD.
Gold Red Card (7/13)

Use red keycard to open B6 Paul Morgan office, which is through the room we opened with the blue keycard.
Hide under the desk, because after the dialogue the cat will drop in.
Answer the phone.
Go to B7 Controllers Office and turn on the ventilation on the computer.
Go back to B6 Paul Morgan office and just hide under the desk and wait til 3:am. (It will only take a couple of minutes).

When it’s 3:am in this room open the safe and pick up the YELLOW KEYCARD.
Use the yellow keycard to open B8 Interrogation room.
Answer the phone.
*The Owl animatronic is now active!*
Gold Don’t Blink (8/13)
Gold Oh really? (9/13)

Wait for the Owl to disappear, then enter the room she blocked and pick up the BATTERY from the desk drawer.
Use the battery in the RADIO at the top of C2 corridor.
Hide in B4 Kirk Alyn office while the Wolf goes towards the radio.
When Wolf has passed, go to D1 Archives room and picklock the door.
Pick up the CASE FILE from the archives desk for the last note of the game!
*If you’ve been searching and collecting all notes throughout the game you will now also have:

Gold Secret Hunter Trophy – Found 7 notes (11/13)
