Introduction:
Welcome to the Bucket Knight Trophy Guide!
Developed by PigeonDev and ported by Sometimes You; Bucket Knight is a relaxed “run ‘n gunner” platformer that has you collecting all sorts of goodies and fighting off dangerous enemies.
“Explore dungeons, slay enemies, avoid traps, stay alive and get rich!”
Roadmap:
Step 1: Complete all 25 levels
Using the tips mentioned below there is no real need to look out for coins. You need to collect 15,000 minimum, but you will be well covered here.
There is nothing difficult about these levels and most are very linear, so just make your way through them shooting as many enemies as you need.
You’ll be earning all story related “Stage” trophies – x8 /
x16 /
x1
And you’ll most probably be earning these trophies: Journey begins!
I hate cheese!
Greed is good!
Very good. Indeed
To seek the Holy Grail!
Time is the only treasure
Step 2: Clean-Up & Purchase Weapons
You will most probably earn all the miscellaneous trophies whilst playing through the levels. You will however have to make a conscious effort to purchase the weapons.
Take a look at the tip section below for a way to speed this up.
If required you’ll be earning these trophies: Say hello to my little friend!
Ah, my old love!
Get to the choppa!
Bucket Knight Platinum
Tips and Strategies:
There is a checkpoint at the beginning of each level where it will remember the amount of coins you entered the level with. This is great when it comes to purchasing the weapons, as you will be required to purchase the Minigun for 15,000 coins for the Platinum. There is enough coins within the game (30,000+) to be able to purchase all three weapons and not “trick” the game, but this will require you to search for them and kill almost every enemy.
To speed the game up enter a level and collect 15,000 coins. Ensure you are on a level where you still have the chance to die and then purchase the Machine Gun & Shotgun.
once you have done this get yourself killed and you will restart the level with the money back in the bank and the 2 relevant trophies achieved. You can then purchase the Minigun.
Video Walkthrough:
Below is a playthough by Dino_Roar Gaming completed in under an hour collecting more the 30,000 coins (so without using the above strategies for the gun purchases).

![]() ![]() Find the Holy Grail |
The Holy Grail is the final collectible within Stage 7-1 and it is required to collect in order to finish the Stage & Game. You will not be bale to miss this collectible as it is right in front of you at the end of the Stage.
![]() ![]() Start a game |
You will automatically earn this trophy when you complete Stage 0-1. Walk to the right, speak to the dude for a bit and then exit left.
![]() ![]() Get poisoned by cheese |
The first time you come across a block of cheese is within Stage 1-2. All you need to do is collect this item and the trophy will pop. The Cheese will take away one of your 5 hearts, so bare this in mind if you are low on health.
There are plenty of opportunities to get this trophy, as there is cheese in a fair amount of levels.
![]() ![]() Buy a machinegun |
The Machine Gun will cost you 5,000 coins. When you have this amount of coins you can purchase by pausing the game and moving right to enter the shop.
As you are required to get 15,000 coins for Get to the choppa!, the best advice here is to by the Machine Gun and then die before completing the level.
When you die the game restarts to the previous checkpoint at the start of the level, so you will have all your money back and the trophy will have been obtained. You will of course be without the Machine Gun, but it is not really needed as the starting gun is sufficient.
![]() ![]() Buy a shotgun |
The Shotgun will cost you 10,000 coins. When you have this amount of coins you can purchase by pausing the game and moving right to enter the shop.

See Time is the only treasure.
![]() ![]() Collect 5000 gold |
See Time is the only treasure.
![]() ![]() Collect 10000 gold |
You receive coins by collecting items on screen and from killing enemies. Ultimately you require 15,000 coins for Get to the choppa!, so this trophy will be earned on your way to this.
10,000 is easily obtained without much effort and is not accumulative, so you need to have the exact amount at one time.
