Gear up and prepare for the final out of 4 planned pieces of DLC for Borderlands 3. Venture your way through the chaos as you journey through the mind of Kreig The Psycho. Find out want makes him tick and travel to Vaulthalla.

Roadmap:

Step 1: Story
Tannis has been studying the minds of psychos for decades on Pandora, and she believes they all share a single idea so powerful it’ll break any mind. She calls it Vaulthalla. In order to get answers to the origin of a psycho, we must seek answers ourselves. And want awaits in Vaulthalla? We’re about to find out.

You’ll be earning these trophies:
Bronze Meat and Greet
Bronze The Blast and the Furious
Silver Brain Pain Train Slain
Silver Trauma Center
Silver Red Wrath and Beyond

Step 2: Side-Missions and Crew Challenges
There are a total of 13 new Side-Missions in this DLC. Most of these are super short and only take about a minute. But a few are longer. Check out Silver Fustercluck Off for more information.

The Side-missions are split into Short and Long-Form

  • Long-Form: is your traditional Side-Mission with many objectives and takes anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
  • Short: Is a newer style of Side-missions that only take a few minutes to complete. Wither it’s spamming Square on Krieg or shooting an object. These don’t take long to complete and need almost no effort.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Silver Fustercluck Off

Step 3: Clean-Up / Miscellaneous
The final step is to open the gate of Vaulthalla. Check Silver Ye Who Enter for more information.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:
Silver Ye Who Enter

Tips and Strategies:

There is only one type of Crew Challenge in this DLC. These are “Signal of Noise” There are 9 of them total, across the three new main areas which are unlocked by progressing through the story. Trophy Guide:

Meat and Greet
Complete mission “Enter the Psychoscape”.

This is the first mission of the DLC. To start go to Sanctuary III and you’ll find a mission in Tannis’ Lab. You’ll take a drop-pod into Krieg’s mind. You’ll just have to survive a few waves of enemies before taking a portal to “Sane Kriegs” home. From there, the mission is purely dialogue.

The Blast and the Furious
Defeat Evil Lilith.

This is the first boss of the game, Evil Lilith is a simple boss and doesn’t have any special attacks. Most are just normal projectile attacks that can be dodged, if far enough away. After taking out half of her health, she’ll go into an immortality phase for a short period before you’re able to take out the remaining 50% of health.

Defeat Psychoreaver.
Psychoreaver is the final boss in the DLC. He has 2 stages, but, easily dodgeable attacks.

Stage 1:

Psychoreaver will follow you around and try to smack you with his weapon. He will also use a ranged electric attack.

Stage 2:

After you take out 50% of his health he’ll have a short immunity phase before becoming giant. He’ll send bullet riders after you during this phase.

Once you take him out a portal to Vaulthalla will open. This will not award the Silver Ye Who Enter trophy. As that is for unlocking the secret gates. Check out Silver Ye Who Enter for more information.

Open the gates to Vaulthalla.

Vaulthalla has 2 gates that will be closed and must be opened by shooting 12 symbols around the map, they can be shot at any time as long as you shoot the initial 9 before going into Vaulthalla and taking the jump-pad. Then you’ll have no way to get back and must re-load and redo them. After opening the first gate, you must open a second gate, this time the symbols are super small and hidden around a single room. Follow the Video guide for details and the locations of all symbols.
