Introduction:
Welcome to the Absolute Drift: Zen Edition Trophy Guide! Become a drift king with this amazing game! Do drifts, donuts, spins and stunts and reach the top of the world to become the real drift master.
This game is developed by Funselektor Labs Inc., and FlippFly.
Roadmap:
Step 1: Free-Roam missions
During this step, your main focus will be to complete all the missions in each world of the Free-Roam Mode. Skip all the events and focus on completing the world missions which can be found all over the map. They are easy and this mode gives you the chance to practice for your next step. Furthermore, by completing all the 5 worlds of the game, you will unlock all the cars so you can try them all and find which one suits you the best.
If you want a visual explaination of what you need to do, check the video put in the Master Drifter trophy description.
Also remember to go for miscellaneous trophies in order to avoid a later clean-up. These trophies are:
– Maverick – buzz the control tower in world 1;
– Double Rainbow – paint your car 20 times;
– Sake Bombs – fall into the water 5 times;
– Hoon Airlines – spemd 2 minutes airborne.
At the end of this step you should have earned these trophies:
Maverick
Double Rainbow
Sake Bombs
Hoon Airlines
Master Drifter
Step 2: Events and event challenges
Now things are getting serious: exit Free-roam mode and begin with the event challenges. Remember that each challenge can be completed SEPARATELY: that means you can focus on a single challenge then finish the level and do another one without having the trouble to complete all 5 in a single run. Furthermore, if you are struggling with some challenges, set the game on hard and put manual gearing. This way you will drift easier and you can use the manual gearing like a speed limiter (you will need it at the most for midnight event challenges).
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Bring the Cubic Ruckus
Spin Doctor
Jelly Donuts
Drift Line Apprentice
Multiplier Master
Bacon Donuts
Washing Machine
Drift Line Master
Midnight Drifter
Midnight Master
Insane Skills
Mad Skills
Good Skills
The Long Drift
The Absolute Drifter
Step 3: Clean-up (optional)
If you have correctly followed this guide, there is no need to do this step. However, if you have missed something it’s time to collect the missed trophy.
These are the possible missing trophies:
Maverick
Double Rainbow
Sake Bombs
Hoon Airlines
Bring the Cubic Ruckus
Multiplier Master
Bacon Donuts
Washing Machine
Drift Line Master
Insane Skills

![]() ![]() Buzz the control tower in World 1. |
Right at the beginning of the “World 1” in Free-Roam, there is a control tower with a ramp in front of it. Take it and jump over the control tower to unlock the trophy right after.
![]() ![]() Fall into the water 5 times. |
You can attempt this trophy from “World 2”. Take a ramp to jump over the water without enpugh speed to fail the jump and fall into the water. Repeat this method 5 times and you will unlock this trophy. Later worlds too have no barriers so it’s easier to do it.
Here a video which explains the method overmentioned (Credits to LouD for the video):
![]() ![]() Paint your car 20 times in Free-Roam. |
In Free-Roam, each world has a Paint Shop where you can change the color of your car. To do it, drive through it and it will paint your car. Repeat that method for 20 times and the trophy will unlock.
The first one is located in “World 1” to the far right of the map.
![]() ![]() Smash 100 blocks in Driftkhana & Mountain Drift Tracks. |
This trophy will unlock while playing normally. You need to destroy 100 red blocks in total while doing Driftkhana and Mountain Drift Tracks events. Pay attention that Free-Roam blocks don’t count towards the progress of this trophy.
![]() ![]() Complete 5 spin-zones in Driftkhana. |
Check the Washing Machine trophy description for further details on how to unlock this trophy.
![]() ![]() Complete 5 donuts in Driftkhana. |
Check the Bacon Donuts trophy description for further details on how to unlock this trophy.
![]() ![]() Execute a perfect drift line. |
Check the Drift Line Master trophy description for further details on how to unlock this trophy.
![]() ![]() Reach a 15x multiplier. |
To increase the multiplier, you just need do drift and do every stunt during an event. The best way to achieve it is to chain your drifts and use clipping points, donuts or anything else to keep your multiplier. If you don’t keep drifting, the multiplier will reset after few seconds. You need to practice a bit, but you are forced to unlock this trophy while going for every challenge of every event.
This video shows a good way to easily achieve it in Driftkhana Sendai event (Credits: Human Error 101):
![]() ![]() Spend 2 minutes airborne in Free-Roam. |
This trophy should come naturally while doind all the Free-Roam missions. However, if you haven’t got this by the time you have completed the game, keep on taking ramps and jump until the trophy pop. The fastest way to accumulate airborne time is to keep doing the “world 1” ramp which flies you over the aeroplane as it’s one of the biggest jumps.
![]() ![]() Complete 25 donuts in Driftkhana. |
Driftkhana is a track type where you have to do stunts and drifts to complete it. During these type of events, complete 25 donuts to achieve this trophy.
To do a donut, you have to find a red circular structure and start drifting around it. You will see that while you drift, it gradually fills up of red. When it’s full you have completed a donut. Pay attention that if you bump against the structure, it will reset and you will need to restart. However, to complete a donut, you don’t have to do it in one go.

![]() ![]() Complete 25 spin-zones in Driftkhana. |
Driftkhana is a track type where you have to do stunts and drifts to complete it. During these type of events, complete 25 spin-zones to achieve this trophy.
To do a spin-zone you have to find a red square on the floor and start spinning around it. You will see that while you spin, it gradually fills up of red. When it’s full you have completed a spin-zone. As for donuts, you don’t need to complete it in one go so take your time.
The best way to easily complete a spin-zone is to stop in the middle of the red square and go reverse gear while you spin the wheel.
Here an image which show how a spin-zone looks like:
![]() ![]() Execute 10 perfect drift lines. |
Perfect drift lines are the trickiest stunts to perform as you need to follow an exact trajectory while drifting so you will need a lot of patience and practice to master them. It’s adviced to use manual gear and set the game on hard to ease a little this trophy.
When you can do a perfect drift line, you will see red dots on the floor, so stick the second gear to limit your speed and try to drift while following the line. Complete 10 of them to unlock the trophy.
NOTE: you can also repeat the drift line that suits you the most 10 times and the trophy will pop.

![]() ![]() Unlock a Midnight Event. |
Check the Midnight Master trophy description for further details.
![]() ![]() Complete all 5 event challenges on any midnight event. |
Midnight Events are the hardest ones to complete and their challenges can be a pain to accomplish because they are set by night and the challenges requirements are higher than the normal ones. Furthermore, latest Midnight Events don’t have barriers so you you fall down from the track, the event will end. To unlock a Midnight Event, simply complete all the challenges of the other normal events.
Each Midnight event has 5 challenges. Remeber that each challenge can be completed SEPARATELY: that means you can focus on a single challenge then finish the level and do another one without having the trouble to complete all 5 in a single run.
When you have accomplished all 5 challenges on a Midnight Event, the trophy will pop.
![]() ![]() Complete all event challenges (including tutorial events). |
This is the hardest trophy of the game: to unlock it, you will need to do all the challenges in every single event in the game including the tutorial ones and the midnight events ones (which are the hardest ones too). Each event has 5 challenges which can consist in do a certain number of stunts (drifts clipping points etc), a certain score or increase your multiplier.
Here some tips and strategies to ease this trophy:
- Each challenge can be completed SEPARATELY: that means you can focus on a single challenge then finish the level and do another one without having the trouble to complete all 5 in a single run.
- It seems a nonsense but set the game to Hard and put the manual gearing as these two settings ease the game a lot, especially for the hardest challenges;
- You can also try messing with the “Steering Sensitivity” and “Steer Assist” to see if that makes it easier for you;
- Use the car that suits you the most;
- If you are using the manual gearing (as you should do), don’t worry a lot about shifting up and down. Remember to stick the second gear in order to have like a speed limiter and drift without issues;
- Learn to chain your drifts in order to not lose your multiplier and do a tons of points for the xN° multiplier and score challenges;
- Keep practicing and keep calm as some challenges can be really frustrating.
![]() ![]() Score over 2,000,000 points in any event. |
This score can be easily obtained by raising your multiplier over and over while doing drifts etc. Remember to set the game on hard put manual gearing to ease the drifting and choose the Driftkhana Sendai event.
Now it’s time to keep drifting around the helicopter without hitting the walls or the helicopter and rise your multiplier.
![]() ![]() Score over 1,000,000 points in any event. |
Check the Insane Skill trophy description for further details on how to unlock it.
![]() ![]() Score over 500,000 points in any event. |
Check the Insane Skill trophy description for further details on how to unlock it.
![]() ![]() Complete the game. |
To complete the game, you just need to do the Free-roam missions on each world. There are 5 worlds in total and the missions are easy to complete.
Once you have completed all World 5 missions to open the final gate, follow that road all the way to the top of the hill to finish the game and unlock this trophy.
Each world has:
– World 1: 6 missions in total;
– World 2: 18 missions in total;
– World 3: 23 missions in total;
– World 4: 20 missions in total;
– World 5: 24 missions in total.
Here you can use this amazing speedrun provided by Albert to see everything you need to do and every asterisk location which are needed to complete a mission on each world:
![]() ![]() Do a 10-second continuous drift. |
This can scare you, but it’s easier than it sound. To easily achieve this trophy, select the Driftkhana Sendai event and keep drifting around the helicopter without interruptions. When you have drifted for 10 seconds in a single drift, you will unlock this trophy. As always set the game on hard and manual gearing to ease the driftings.
